I migliori ristoranti in Genova

25/05/2025: I had lunch at this restaurant because it was recommended by the Michelin guide (Northern Italy). It's much more expensive than what the guide indicated (for us 2 pasta dishes = 70 euros) But above all I was charged 7 € for a bottle of water and 3 coffees instead of one... I pointed out the error after paying the bill and I was reimbursed 15 euros under the false pretext of confusion with another table. In fact I then realized that they had charged me another 10 euros more than indicated on the menu... that's a lot of mistakes I think. I'm rushing to write to the Michelin guide to tell them about my experience.

15/05/2025: In my opinion I ate very tasty, the fish was wonderful and the service was also incredible

15/06/2025: We bought some take-out pizzas for which they told us we would have to wait until 8pm (already 40 minutes after purchasing, which is quite a long time). However, the pizzas were delivered to us at around 9pm, and when we asked for information about the remaining wait, which was always polite on our part, the answers were very rude and unprofessional. People who arrived well after us received their orders first (and we had ordered a very limited number of pizzas). All of this could have been forgiven with a simple apology, I won't say a courtesy, but they treated us as if it were our fault, even when the pizzas were delivered the girl at the counter exclaimed "come on, come on, go".

15/06/2025: Absolutely avoid. ordered pizzas at 8pm, to be able to eat them on the beach. Delivery time, according to them 9.15pm, at 9pm we showed up and had to wait until 10.10pm to have the burnt pizzas since they couldn't keep up with the orders taken. Avoid like the plague.

15/04/2025: Located in a small square in historic Genoa. Outside tables and basic service. Focaccia, savory pies and farinata, delicious and freshly cooked.

28/03/2025: NOT RECOMMENDED, UNLESS YOU WANT AN EXPENSIVE AND RAW FOCACCIA! On the way back to the station, in search of one last focaccia, we stopped at this place. Since there isn't much of a place to eat nearby, we stop here and get a cheese focaccia (focaccia di recco) for the modest sum of €22/kg (no price displayed). We basically spent €5.20 for two small pieces, when in other places with this amount we ate more than double. At the fateful moment of tasting the surprise is unpleasant, the underneath of the focaccia is completely raw. The flavor wasn't bad but really too raw. Definitely not recommended.

03/05/2025: Nice place, plentiful aperitif, I see a lot of little arms in the reviews! An aperitif costs 10 euros, a very honest price, otherwise you can stay at home gentlemen!

20/12/2024: Christmas aperitif... poor food and terrible portions like little birds..... barely adequate service. I will never return and I hope my friends do too, there were 8 of us.

25/04/2025: The service is very good however a little less sometimes they forgot to ask us what we wanted and they forgot then we asked them for the bread and they sent it after a long time the environment is very nice spacious and clean

15/02/2025: Wonderful dark chocolate crepe. I went in 2023 on a 3-day trip to Rapallo with a friend and the crepe was so delicious that we went back again for two days. The owner is very friendly. The location is very central and you can sit at tables on the street. Very nice.

01/05/2025: Tutte le volte che torniamo a Rapallo è un classico fermarci da Tossini (sia questo punto vendita vicino alla chiesa principale, sia l'altro, vicino alla stazione, molto più grande, che è anche bar e che molti recensori poco attenti confondono con questo) per comperare in particolare l'ottima focaccia, come pure piatti pronti (anche se l'assortimento è maggiore nell'altro negozio). Tutto molto buono.

16/05/2025: First courses with raw pasta, second courses to say the least 'minimal'. Dessert and drinks are not bad. Extremely high price for a restaurant that is 'nothing special'. I would never go back. No comment on the owners.... probably there were too many people for their standards. Terrible attitude. Too many lapses in style. I won't report what I heard, especially for a table of law enforcement officers

15/05/2025: Overall a welcoming and nice environment (I mean the location), the owners a bit hasty and not very attentive, but then again it is in the DNA of some Genoese DOCG; the wait while seated both to order and to eat was exhausting, from when I sat down to ordering 20 minutes passed and then I waited another 30 minutes for the first course, I don't know how many staff they have in the kitchen but having many waiters and an empty kitchen is of little use, even if there were 2 in the dining room serving plus the sporadic help of the owner; the second course was lost between one table and another, poor portions (priest's hat or holster), as for the dishes nothing to say about the quality of the fried food I have to say it was good, dry fried food "but poor" .... the icing on the cake was when I asked for the salt ..... the owner started asking in the middle of the room facing the guests who had the salt on the table, well .... taking stock, the food nothing to complain about, if you like waiting a long time, not being considered almost and paying NOT LITTLE this is the place for you, obviously this is my opinion but ..... based on the facts that happened to me that day, a Monday (closing day in the normal period of the year) with EUROFLORA 2025 in progress and at 2:00 pm still people waiting for a table; I understand the desire to have more seats/cash but not at the expense of seated customers

20/09/2024: Assolutamente la migliore pizzeria di Chiavari, l'ambiente è accogliente ma piccolo per cui è meglio prenotare. I fans di Vasco ne possono andar fieri. La pizza Portofino e la pizza Silvia sono le migliori, a mio avviso. Se passate per Chiavari dovete assolutamente passare da I Verdi.

07/05/2025: Excellent food, excellent quality/quantity ratio and excellent price. At a certain point I realized that I had forgotten the milk for my baby in the hotel, they kindly filled my bottle and even warmed it up for me. Very kind. There is a very large open aquarium which allowed mum and dad to eat in peace while the child watched the fish!! I love it!!

20/12/2024: I didn't like it. I found the capon magro too gelatinous, I remembered it softer, the spaghetti with seafood overall decent, the shrimp was not good, the pasta for me too al dente. The dessert did not arrive in order, the service was a sin, ordering these courses I had to ask twice for the plate for the shells. I was not satisfied.

I saw some really inviting first and second courses and maybe next time I will have lunch with you. The cafeteria staff is welcoming, smiling, competent and friendly and the service is very attentive and fast and the prices are really good. I have been in the cafeteria section of this self-service restaurant, located on the ground floor of the Fiumara shopping center in Genoa, Sampierdarena, and I enjoyed an excellent coffee sitting at one of the many tables. I saw really appetizing first and second courses and maybe next time I will have lunch with you. The canteen staff is friendly, smiling, competent and kind, the service is very attentive and fast, and the prices are very reasonable.

01/06/2025: I understand that pasta should not be overcooked, but if someone goes to eat it freshly made, they cannot eat it completely raw, especially children. In any case, I also tasted the second courses, if someone doesn't know how to cook, it feels...
