03/05/2026: A rarity these days: a trattoria from the past. Simple yet exquisite food, cooked with grandparents' recipes. Thankfully, they haven't been revisited. If it took decades and expert hands to make them so delicious, why change them, right? Friscieu, ravioli with a touch, fried anchovies, and delicious stockfish! 🥰 Friendliness and very fair prices make you leave feeling truly satisfied.

05/07/2026: In a quaint and very well-kept location, we ate excellent trofie al pesto. Both the pasta and the pesto were exceptional; you could taste all the care they put into the preparation and selection of ingredients. The service was very fast, and the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly, always ready to accommodate customers' requests. The limoncino also deserves a special mention. A truly excellent place to try traditional Genoese dishes.

19/03/2026: I visited this restaurant recently and I must say it was a truly wonderful discovery. As soon as I entered, I was struck by the atmosphere: the setting is meticulously designed, very welcoming, romantic, and simply beautiful. You can immediately sense the special attention paid to the decor and the overall customer experience. And then, of course, the food. I chose this place because I'd just started a diet and was looking for a place that offered healthy dishes, but here I found so much more: a wide variety of options, top-quality ingredients, and truly delicious dishes. Nothing predictable; on the contrary: every course is original, well-researched, and tastefully revisited. Truly, everything is top-notch. A special thanks also to John for his hospitality and professionalism. You can immediately see that he loves what he does, and this makes the experience even more enjoyable. Top location, top food, top professionalism, and absolutely fair prices for the quality offered. A special mention also goes to the bathroom, which is a real gem: well-maintained, beautiful, and tastefully decorated. I also loved the background music, perfect for creating a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere throughout the evening. If I really had to find one detail that could be improved, it would be the bread baskets: those miniature shopping carts you find at Tiger. They're cute in themselves, but in such an elegant and refined setting, they seem a bit out of place. Otherwise, I highly recommend the experience. I had a truly wonderful evening and will definitely be back.

25/07/2026: A simple trattoria: good quality food and typical Ligurian cuisine. The menu offers both meat and fish. The portions are adequate; the service is simple and fast. The internal courtyard is beautiful. The quality/price ratio is also good.

08/07/2026: A small place that has always been a sure thing!!! The pizza is really good (thin crust), the ingredients are top-quality, and the selection is absolutely varied!!! You can choose the classic ones, those with burrata, those with stracciatella, those with pistachios, and even more... The welcome at the door is like true Genoese ones from the past 😉 and then the service is splendid!!! Definitely book on weekends to be sure there's room!

18/05/2026: 🍕 Pizzeria La Superba ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The best pizza we've had in Genoa! Superb service, even on a Saturday night. A truly excellent pizzeria, without a doubt the best pizza we ate during our stay in Genoa! The menu offers a wide variety of pizzas, and you can immediately taste the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. We dined outside and had a wonderful time: the outdoor setting is pleasant and relaxing, especially when the evening weather permits. Inside, the tables are perhaps a little more cramped, but the outdoor seating more than makes up for it. ⚡ Impeccable service: We were amazed by the speed. It was Saturday night and the place was literally packed, yet the waiters were extremely kind, super organized, and served us promptly without long waits. 🥇 What to order: There's so much to choose from, the dough is light and easy to digest, and the toppings are rich. 💡 My Local Guide tip: If you go on the weekend and it's a nice evening, definitely ask for an outdoor table to enjoy the atmosphere to the fullest. Highly recommended! If you're looking for high-quality pizza in Genoa with fast and friendly service, this is the place. We'll definitely be back!

06/08/2026: Excellent pizza and quality food. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this place during the summer months, as it isn't air conditioned. We had dinner last night and felt like we were walking into a veritable furnace. If we hadn't had a reservation for the second sitting, we probably would have changed locations. Fortunately, the pizza fully met our expectations. It's a shame, because the place is truly charming and welcoming. My advice is to install air conditioning, which would make the experience much more pleasant during the summer.

10/07/2026: Friendly service; the girl who served me was very kind. If you're walking from Camogli to San Rocco along the footpath, you'll find this place just a few meters from the Church of San Rocco. Here you can enjoy a good slice of pizza and a drink to recharge your energy after your hike.

07/08/2026: Da Vittorio is a historic restaurant in Chiavari and a go-to for those seeking traditional Genoese cuisine. The place is clean and welcoming, with outdoor seating, ideal in spring and/or summer. Reservations aren't possible, but you can always find a seat even after a short wait. Highly recommended, the food is excellent, reflecting the lugure/Genoese culinary tradition. Here, the focus is on substance, not on showiness. Takeout is also available; my favorite dishes are cima, the Russian salad (which isn't Piedmontese), and cima, the Genoese minestrone.

11/06/2026: The place is very nice, nothing to complain about. As for the service, perhaps we were unlucky: three people (including a child), we ordered two appetizers (clearly to the waitress) and, carefully enunciating our words, FOLLOWED by a plate of pasta with tomato sauce, a rabbit, a pork tenderloin, and a GREEN SALAD. After less than 10 minutes, the following arrived: one appetizer, the pork tenderloin, and the pasta with tomato sauce. I sent the tenderloin back (knowing I'll eat it cold), hoping the second appetizer would arrive as well, but nothing. The pasta with tomato sauce was unfortunately bad, so my daughter only nibbled on a few things. Next came the rabbit, the fillet from the first course, the second appetizer, and a mixed salad (I had ordered it green, so at least that wasn't added to the bill). The pork tenderloin was lukewarm and nothing special (I expected that, obviously), but the rabbit definitely needs revisiting. A bad experience, sorry.

03/06/2026: A real hidden gem in the heart of Genoa's caruggi! I discovered Lo Scoretto by chance, while walking in Piazza Pollaiuoli, and I was immediately drawn to its authentic, warm atmosphere under the historic relief of the building. The experience was exceptional in every way. I tried the handmade pasta with authentic pesto genovese and it was simply sensational — rich in flavor, just like local Ligurian cuisine should be. The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel at home from the first moment. If you want to escape the classic tourist spots and experience the pulse of the city like a local, enjoying excellent food or a drink at the tables outside on the cobblestones, this is the ideal spot. I will definitely return on my next trip

18/05/2026: Good beer, friendly place, not very clean with a tiny bathroom. Raw ingredients aren't excellent, the service is excellent and smiling until you point out something is wrong, then it becomes rude and impolite. Too bad.
