Wonderful discovery, suggested by my walking tour guide. This cosy place, right next to Via Garibaldi, was a quiet lunch refuge from a busy day in the old town. Lunch and dessert were delicious. Service was super welcoming. A very nice find 👌

I leave this review in particular to the two waiters, Marta, and the young man whose name I can't remember. There were five of us, and they welcomed us despite the restaurant being full, displaying their simple yet effective friendliness and professionalism, constantly apologizing for a "slight" delay that we didn't notice at all. The food was excellent, as if you were eating at home, with a trattoria-style approach, but one that stays in your heart. The dishes aren't generous, which is especially true for those accustomed to eating pasta, but the quality is excellent, and the value for money is nothing short of excellent. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Genoa and the city center.

We stumbled upon this place by pure chance, intrigued by the menu and the numerous positive reviews, and our expectations were definitely not disappointed. The food was excellent, but what we loved even more was the warm, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere of the staff—everyone there, especially the young woman at the cash register who stopped to chat with us and recommended some gelato shops for us to try the next day. Between the quality of the food, the service, and the ambiance, we loved it, and when we're back in Genoa, we'll definitely be back. Thank you so much to everyone, and congratulations again!

Impeccable service in a pleasant and authentic setting. Excellent cuisine; we enjoyed a superb minestrone soup: a medley of peas and beans, Swiss chard, perfect; followed by cuttlefish in a Swiss chard and chickpea sauce, and cod in a white wine and onion compote, both excellent.

Tucked away in the middle of the alleys, it exudes a traditional, family atmosphere. The food has the flavor of Genoa; anyone who doesn't appreciate it hasn't tasted home cooking. Kudos to the service: despite our arrival at 2:30 PM (closing time), the restaurant manager greeted us with a smile and went out of her way to accommodate everyone, even though she was alone and the restaurant was completely full.

I recommend taking the alley from Via Garibaldi. The other alleys near the restaurant aren't very busy.
