A simple trattoria: good quality food and typical Ligurian cuisine. The menu offers both meat and fish. The portions are adequate; the service is simple and fast. The internal courtyard is beautiful. The quality/price ratio is also good.

Excellent dishes, excellent atmosphere

Atmosphere: Very welcoming and quiet. We were on the other side of the alley in a cozy, air-conditioned space, which was very welcome given the 30°C temperature last night. The service: There was a very smart and friendly young lady, while the others were dressed in striped shirts like a crew. Their manners were a bit snarky, as they say in Genoese. It's probably part of the scene, but in reality, it was the young lady who served us, so it wasn't anything special. Most importantly, the food: I had a mixed seafood appetizer that included octopus, potatoes, and fried anchovies, along with three or four other marinated fish combinations, all a bit too vinegary for my taste. By the end, the flavor of the fish had faded, leaving a vinegary aftertaste in my mouth. I skipped the first course and ordered the second course, which was Ligurian-style sea bass. I thought, for my part, it would come with a side dish, but I wasn't offered one (a small flaw of the lady: you always ask for a side dish). Instead, it was a steak with an excessive amount of tomato puree instead of cherry tomatoes, as per the classic recipe. In short, here too, the tomato flavor was more pronounced than the fish. I finished with a Catalan cream, perhaps a little too firm in consistency. These are minor details, but the sweetness was just right, neither too much nor too little. There were eight of us, we ordered 2 liters of good house white wine plus several bottles of water, and we ended up spending €46 each. So, for €46, I expect to at least have the desire to return to try other dishes. Thank you for your hospitality. I hope my comments can help improve your customers' experience.

Fish is good there, and for those who don't like it, there's meat.

Cozy little place, well-furnished but simple, excellent in its genre. We went for dinner on a weekday. We ate 3 fish courses each (there were 2 of us), plus a dessert (there's something for everyone), a coffee, and 2 after-dinner drinks. Portions were more than sufficient (we barely cleared our plates). Simple cuisine, just as we like it, but excellent quality, as is the value for money. I spent only €90 TOTAL! We finally found a place where we can eat good fish, without spending a fortune. I want to emphasize that, as a category, this is not a "luxury" place where a salad leaf presented with a thousand decorations will cost you €20, but a high-quality trattoria-pizzeria. Luxury does not determine quality! I forgot... very kind staff 😊 I can't wait to go back to try the pizza.

A very quaint seafood restaurant in the historic center of Lavagna. Excellent food, very attentive and friendly staff.

Everything was very good, the staff were very kind and fast. The desserts were fantastic.

We tried several dishes and not sure what was the best. Definitely recommend the rata though. Great place and very reasonable prices.

We ate on the beautiful veranda of this restaurant, which is very characteristic and highly recommended. The first courses were excellent: spaghetti with clams and spaghetti with seafood. The seafood appetizer was good, but honestly nothing spectacular. The mixed fried fish was, frankly, disappointing. For this reason, I wouldn't recommend it. Overall, a good experience, but I would try other dishes.
