26/08/2025: I ordered the seafood ravioli and trofie with pesto. The quality was excellent, the wine was also good, and the price was within the average range you'd expect in these parts. The waiter with the mustache was particularly kind and friendly.

10/08/2025: Good evening, I'm writing to you about my experience at Cascina Castello... The first courses were passable. The second courses were too greasy and heavy. The icing on the cake was that while I was eating a first course, I found a piece of metal in my mouth (and thankfully I didn't swallow it). Despite this, we had to pay the full bill, in addition to the poor service. When we asked for bread, we were told it was best not to, as we wouldn't have finished their entire menu. Keep in mind that the second course was almost entirely eaten by the dog that was wandering around the tables. An experience I absolutely won't repeat. It was the worst agritourism experience my husband and I have ever experienced.

10/07/2025: Horrible. Just horrible! Waiting for food for 2 hours!!!!!! The food is tasteless! Two waiters for 9 tables. The hot food was brought cold! I didn't even eat it, the waiter didn't even ask if everything was okay! The only thing that was tasty was the bread with pesto! My friend's dishes were also inedible! I honestly don't understand where such a rating came from. The place is just disgusting! I don't recommend it to anyone! Horrible experience!!! One star only for the ceiling! 04/06/2025: A splendid location, where every detail is taken care of to perfection I had the privilege of attending a wedding in this splendid Villa overlooking one of the most evocative views of Genoa, and I can say without hesitation that it is a place that enchants and conquers from the first moment. The atmosphere is elegant, welcoming, with spaces designed to fully enjoy the beauty of the landscape, enjoying in total relaxation the extraordinary creations of a kitchen brigade that combines competence, passion and creativity. Each dish served was a small masterpiece, cared for in the presentation and impeccable in taste. The entire menu enhanced the local flavors with a contemporary touch, leaving all the guests enthusiastic. One aspect that deserves a special mention is the attention and availability shown towards the professionals involved in the event: they were supported by the staff with great professionalism, receiving logistical and technical assistance that allowed them to work in the best possible conditions. This contributed significantly to the success of the entire day, making it fluid, harmonious and without hitches. It is rare to find a location that manages to combine beauty, quality of service and collaboration between all the actors involved so well. A true gem for those who dream of a perfect wedding, without stress and with the certainty of being in good hands. Absolutely recommended!

09/07/2025: Superb meal! The restaurant isn't particularly impressive, as some reviews have mentioned, but it's worth the detour! The appetizers (meat platter and focaccia) were EXCELLENT, the main courses are also great and, above all, inexpensive. The service was also very pleasant; the waitress spoke excellent English and took the time to explain anything we didn't understand! Well done and thank you 🙏

08/07/2025: The place itself doesn't necessarily attract customers with its appearance, but the food is GREAT, delicious, fresh, and very affordable. Seven of us ate our fill, plus wine for €80.

22/08/2025: An excellent experience in a welcoming and historic setting. The dishes are tasty and the portions are generous! The amberjack ravioli are highly recommended. The quality/quantity/price ratio is also very good. The only downside was the service, although this was most likely caused by an occasional issue. The wait times were quick and efficient at first, but then significantly slowed down between the first and second courses. That said, the dinner was still a pleasant experience, and U Pescou is a place we'll return to!

21/08/2025: The restaurant welcomed us with a very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. We appreciated the extreme courtesy and helpfulness of the wait staff. The fish, in particular, was fresh and impeccably cooked, a true pleasure for the palate. The owner, Gabriele, was attentive and thoughtful to each customer. Overall, it was an excellent and unforgettable dinner.

27/07/2025: Very good food, a wide selection of seafood and fish dishes, home-style cooking, but with careful plating and sophisticated flavor combinations. The staff is very friendly and helpful; for me, who is lactose intolerant, they even brought a dessert from the menu, adapting it to my needs. The only thing that's a bit off-putting is the location, which is divided into two parts. The inner room is bright and better maintained, while the other room is decidedly darker, with dark orange walls and dim table lights. Both rooms, however, are decorated with fun and unique paintings. Excellent value for money. If we ever come to Sestri Levante again, we'll definitely be back.

22/07/2025: I stayed last weekend with my boyfriend and I have to say we had a really great time. Mrs. Elvire and her staff are truly helpful and very kind. The villa is beautiful, with a very large garden and parking. The location is perfect, close to the center and the seafront, a maximum of 10 minutes' walk away. The area, despite being within easy reach of the center, is truly quiet. What can I say, I absolutely recommend this hotel. Thank you again, so much to everyone!

10/08/2025: We visited this restaurant during a visit to Bogliasco, an already enchanting location nestled between the sea and nature, and we discovered a true gem. From the first moment, we were greeted with a rare warmth: the management is absolutely human, present but never intrusive, making you feel truly at home. The food? A true delight. Everything is freshly prepared, cooked to order with the highest quality ingredients. You can taste the passion behind every dish: from the starters to the fresh fish, to the homemade desserts, everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail. It's one of those places where you truly eat well, without pretence. The atmosphere is relaxing, ideal for both a romantic dinner and a family lunch. You can sense the love for cooking and hospitality in every aspect of the experience. Highly recommended to anyone passing through these parts. A place worth discovering and one we will definitely visit again!

10/08/2025: We've been coming here for years and have always had a great experience. The price is reasonable and the quality/price ratio is good (the only downside is that the spaghetti with clams is very green). The fried food is made in an air fryer, which I personally find tasty and easy to digest. So, overall, you eat well and enjoy a great view.

20/08/2025: In my experience in Genoa, this is the best brunch. I've been several times and it's always good. The food, the service, and the location in San Matteo are exceptional. The stars are 4 and not 5 because, in my opinion, the prices are excessive.

08/08/2025: Cover charge was 6 euros per person, over a third of my bill. Food was decent, nothing special. My bill was 31 and the cover charge for two was 12. Not worth it at all.
