18/02/2026: Chosen as the location for our Christmas dinner, I decided to try the pici all'aglione (absolutely delicious), the larded skewer (the MVP of the evening), and torta della nonna (grandmother's cake) to finish (equally enjoyable). Service was fairly quick. Prices were in line with other similarly priced options.

18/02/2026: Honestly, I expected more, especially for the meat. We ordered two different main courses, and both were dry and not very tender. As for the appetizers, the liver bruschetta was good, but the pesto and tomato bruschetta were less so. I've satisfied my curiosity to try it, but I don't think I'll be back. Friendly staff.

24/11/2025: We stayed over the weekend in Genova and came here twice on Sunday. Lovely and kind staff and the food is great, shame we couldn't try more.

14/11/2025: I went with high expectations, and it exceeded them! The food was delicious, varied, and served quickly. I tried both the Chinese dishes and the sushi, and both were satisfying! The staff were really friendly. I absolutely recommend it!

25/02/2026: It's a trattoria consisting of an entrance hall (with a bar) and a large dining room whose acoustics, when full, leave a bit to be desired. The strong point is the price: if I'm not mistaken, we spent €25 each for appetizers, a first course, and a second course. The food was decent, the wine simple, but not a headache. The appetizer consisted of a few slices of cured meat (coppa, low-quality cooked ham, salami) and cheese (not bad). The first courses: pasta with pesto, with a very pale and flavorless pesto, good ravioli with ragù sauce, decent baked lasagna. The second courses: meat only, a good veal with tuna sauce or roast. Going to Trattoria Cornua is a bit like going back in time: an '80s trattoria with home-style cooking, more focused on quantity than quantity, but authentic. The staff is a bit cold, but courteous. If I ever pass through those parts, I'll go back.

24/01/2026: Good food, generous portions, super competitive prices. Upon arrival, they bring a kind of bread with a sauce on the house. The place is very simple, a little more rustic than other Indian restaurants downtown, but I find it more authentic (and definitely cheaper). The staff is friendly. Two of us went for dinner; I've ordered takeout a few times before, but it's best to dine in.

17/03/2026: Welcoming place, friendly staff, but the food isn't the best. I think there are better places in Genoa. We had the fettuccine with pesto, and it wasn't anything special. The pasta was cold, and the pesto was cold.

The idea of ​​being able to choose your pasta (20-30 different varieties or more) and about 30-40 different toppings is very original and unique. Unfortunately, the chef's professionalism and skill are lacking. First courses with pasta that seems reheated... mushrooms with polenta, where the mushrooms are watered down with an acidic tomato sauce that neutralizes the flavor of the mushrooms, etc. Excellent service. Could improve with a change of chef. Very low prices.
