07/10/2025: A guarantee for over thirty years!! For every event and birthday, I'm always sure of a great deal with them. Friendly, kind, and helpful, they fulfill every wish with excellent cakes. Not to mention the panettone at Christmas. Always a 10/10.

25/09/2025: A very unique and small place. The menu is limited (potato-based), but very good. What really sets it apart is the owner, who is friendly, kind, and welcoming. Everything is gluten-free and suitable for celiacs (except the sandwich). Highly recommended for a unique gluten-free experience!

12/07/2026: We went to Il Mulino for an evening with friends. A beautiful location, cool for the summer. The set menu was generous, the ingredients excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. The staff was extremely kind, welcoming, and always available. What can I say? It was an experience we'll be repeating soon!

The dishes are exceptional, truly delicious, and fairly generous. A little more expensive than my usual osterias, but worth it for the quality and flavor. The a la carte prices are average for first courses, while the second courses are cheaper despite the quality. The meals on the menu are prepared fresh, so they take a bit longer than the pre-prepared takeout options. There's a remarkable selection of dishes to choose from, including the menu, takeout, and some off-menu options. Reservations are recommended. Highly recommended.

06/05/2026: The food quality is excellent. The chef's Apulian roots are evident in the orecchiette with Apulian braciola. The braciola is just like the one grandma used to make. A spectacle. Recommended.

18/02/2026: I purchased some unique, hard-to-find chocolates from their website as a special gift. They were extremely kind and helpful in providing me with all the information I needed to complete the purchase process. Delivery was quick, and the gift was beautifully packaged, with the option of including a personalized note. They were a little broken at the bottom, but that's all. The chocolates are exquisite, crunchy, and truly high-quality. I would buy them again in a heartbeat!

16/05/2026: While passing through Santa Margherita, I was recommended focaccia at this shop. It was worth the trip! The focaccia is truly exceptional, both the plain and the cheese version (I'll try the rest next time... I almost exploded). The service was impeccable and fast, even though the shop was packed.

We hebben genieten van een heerlijke lunch met patat en calemaris. Op een bankje in de schaduw op eeten. als totje een heerlijke nectarine van de groentewinkel ernaast.

25/07/2026: A typical Ligurian trattoria with a twist. Both the cuisine and service are impeccable. Simple dishes are accompanied by a good selection of wines. The restaurant is truly welcoming and tastefully decorated. Dishes are served promptly, with special attention paid to serving the women first, which is no small feat and appreciated by those in the trade like me. I recommend the chef's suggestions. The seafood appetizer is truly remarkable.

You'll find authentic Genoese minestrone and tommaselle (a traditional dish that requires a lot of work) that's as good as grandma's! The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. Oh, and I forgot about the amazing desserts and generous portions.

08/08/2026: A special evening! We stopped by on a Friday evening after a stressful work week, and the kindness of the staff combined with the quality of the food completely changed the mood. A gastronomic experience definitely worth repeating: freshly made tacos that open the palate, carefully crafted tapas (try the fried eggplant with tatsiki sauce). A selection of natural wines and over 50 gins to choose from. We'll definitely be back!

During the warmer months, the restaurant transforms into something truly special: the outdoor seating area, immersed in the charm of Genoa's historic center, becomes a magical corner that comes to life with live music and themed evenings, creating a unique atmosphere. But even during the winter, Bella Bu maintains all its warmth, thanks to the events and evenings organized that make each visit different from the last. The cuisine is simply out of this world. If I had to recommend a few dishes, I would without hesitation say the tempura shrimp, the tacos with pork strips, and the pork ribs: every dish is prepared with great care and using quality ingredients. And on Wednesdays... it's impossible to resist their paella night! Another huge strength is the wine list: a refined and never boring selection of natural wines, perfect for those who love discovering new labels. The cocktails also deserve a special mention: prepared with great care, they are always impeccable. The staff is one of the reasons I love returning. Always attentive, kind, and knowledgeable, they make you feel welcomed from the first to the last minute. A special thanks goes to one of the girls, Guenda, always available, professional, and with such a spontaneous and contagious smile that makes every evening even more enjoyable. Bella Bu is one of those restaurants I truly recommend to everyone: perfect for a romantic dinner, an evening with friends, an aperitif, a large table, or a family with children. A place where you eat and drink beautifully, but above all where you can feel passion, care, and a desire to make people feel good. For me, it remains a certainty, one of those places I always return to with the same happiness, knowing that it will once again be a wonderful experience.
