Everything was excellent, the staff were very friendly, the portions were generous and the prices were fair. The place was small but well-kept, with an outdoor area perfect for the summer.

Il Mulino is a beautiful place, truly restored with a genuine and original spirit. The food is excellent, featuring truly local, traditional Ligurian dishes, served with a welcoming, family-style atmosphere. It's a few winding kilometers, but it's well worth it.

This farmhouse is located on the hills above Sestri Levante, about 10 km from the motorway exit. You can park easily on the side of the road, which is very narrow in places, and then walk down a flight of steps to reach your destination. The restaurant is welcoming, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The Ligurian cuisine is good, with simple but well-prepared dishes. Highly recommended.

Visited a few days ago. The road to get there is a bit rough, there's very little parking, and it's a steep descent. It's a two-room, wooden cabin-style place that seats about thirty. The fixed menu offers good quality cured meats and frisceux. The testaroli with pesto are good, the ravioli are mediocre, and the main courses are poor. The desserts are good. Prices are questionable.

I echo the chorus of positive reviews. Six appetizers, two first courses, two second courses, and dessert. Set menu. My only criticism is the testaroli, which, let's say, weren't the best appetizer, but everything else was delicious, truly good. The ravioli deserve a special mention; they were simply amazing. The staff was friendly and the price was reasonable. I recommend it and I think I'll be back.

08/04/2026: If you like thin but well-topped pizza, be prepared to queue, but it's worth it... plus it's huge, but don't worry, just ask and they'll put it in a box and take it away.

Trattoria Cornua

25/02/2026: It's a trattoria consisting of an entrance hall (with a bar) and a large dining room whose acoustics, when full, leave a bit to be desired. The strong point is the price: if I'm not mistaken, we spent €25 each for appetizers, a first course, and a second course. The food was decent, the wine simple, but not a headache. The appetizer consisted of a few slices of cured meat (coppa, low-quality cooked ham, salami) and cheese (not bad). The first courses: pasta with pesto, with a very pale and flavorless pesto, good ravioli with ragù sauce, decent baked lasagna. The second courses: meat only, a good veal with tuna sauce or roast. Going to Trattoria Cornua is a bit like going back in time: an '80s trattoria with home-style cooking, more focused on quantity than quantity, but authentic. The staff is a bit cold, but courteous. If I ever pass through those parts, I'll go back.
11/01/2026: Excellent business lunch and great price, and on nice days there's a great panoramic view.
