I stopped for lunch at this famous trattoria. The food is very tasty, with careful attention to the ingredients and fresh fish. The service is friendly and fast. The restaurant is very clean and well-maintained. It's located in a neighborhood with affordable prices, and I understand the desire to stand out given the high quality of the products. I found the bill per person slightly above average; taking care to slightly lower the house wine, coffee, and cover charge, to keep the cost per person under €30, could help retain more customers in the future. I'll be back to try the main courses and desserts.

Highly recommended for seafood. For four people, we shared six dishes and a bottle of wine for about 130,000 won, which is a reasonable price. The food is delicious. It's a hidden gem, mostly served by locals and not a lot of tourists. Highly recommended for lunch for Koreans visiting the MSC Cruise.

Small restaurant with a fresh seafood menu. Everything we ate was delicious: Taglierini with monkfish sauce, seafood carbonara, pan-fried squid, tuna tartare, and finally a wonderful dessert, tiramisu made with focaccia. The house Verduzzo sparkling white wine was excellent. Let's just say that a little more friendliness from the waiter (though very good and professional) wouldn't hurt, at least to say hello when customers come in. We'll definitely be back.

18/07/2026: When it's at its hottest in Genoa, it's nice to sit in the shady courtyard, where there's a slight breeze. Of course, there's also something to eat and drink. Excellent focaccia and draft beer.
06/07/2026: We ordered two mixed farinatas, one traditional and cooked ham, the other traditional and lard with pepper. To say it was excellent is almost an affront, given how excellent the quality, flavor, and quantity are. The pesto was sublime. After the unsatisfying focaccia, we ordered two first courses: testaroli with pesto and Portofino, both excellent. The portions were more than adequate, with homemade yet refined flavors, including the bread, desserts, and everything else they made. The location is strategic, accessible by all means of transport leading to the beautiful Piazza De Ferrari, home to the Carlo Felice Theater, the Palazzo Ducale, and in Piazza Dante to Porta Saprana, one of the city gates overlooking Columbus's house—all historic sites. A truly delicious break at Locanda Tortuga is a must. The price of our dinner was truly reasonable. We'll gladly return; highly recommended.

14/07/2026: We discovered this gem on our way to Portofino. During our stay, we came twice to eat their pizzas and frankly, they were delicious. The price is very reasonable for the size of the pizzas they make, and it's a very friendly place.
