16/05/2026: While passing through Santa Margherita, I was recommended focaccia at this shop. It was worth the trip! The focaccia is truly exceptional, both the plain and the cheese version (I'll try the rest next time... I almost exploded). The service was impeccable and fast, even though the shop was packed.

05/06/2026: Excellent food with a distinct Neapolitan influence. You can also purchase buffalo mozzarella and cheeses. Dena's specialty is the tricotta, a lemon-flavored ricotta dessert. Recommended.

18/02/2026: I purchased some unique, hard-to-find chocolates from their website as a special gift. They were extremely kind and helpful in providing me with all the information I needed to complete the purchase process. Delivery was quick, and the gift was beautifully packaged, with the option of including a personalized note. They were a little broken at the bottom, but that's all. The chocolates are exquisite, crunchy, and truly high-quality. I would buy them again in a heartbeat!

In the evening, they serve excellent aperitifs with fantastic, rich, and high-quality Calabrian platters. A family atmosphere and reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

06/05/2026: This morning I finally had my usual American coffee and Jonny from Mentelocale in Principe asked me for hot water to add to the coffee if I wanted it on the side... he's the FIRST one who asks me, I usually tell him otherwise if I forget they'll make me a cup that looks like broth... 👌

We loved everything, from the coffee to every pastry we ordered. This was in the summer of 2023; however, we happened to find the receipt and decided to write this review.

28/04/2026: This traditional trattoria is a sure thing: never a disappointment, with good average quality, supported by reasonable prices. The atmosphere is so welcoming that, on cold days, you'd happily stay for a nap after dessert and coffee. In summer, you can dine on a pleasant terrace, shaded by walnut trees. It's worth the 20 km drive from the center of Genoa. Ample parking is available. My favorite dish is the ravioli, strictly homemade. Pair with a Bonarda latte. The menu is conservative, but sufficiently varied. Our weakest dish: French fries. Ideal for those with dogs.
