We went there on a Sunday, drawn by its reputation as an excellent trattoria with excellent value, and I can confirm everything! We ate wonderfully, with generous and carefully prepared portions, traditional cuisine with a modern twist, and, unexpectedly, many of the dishes were entirely homemade, like the pesto and stuffed pasta, bread, and panfocaccia in abundance. Both the meat and fish were delicious, and the homemade desserts were superb, all in a family atmosphere with a great sense of humor—a truly precious thing! The entire menu is definitely worth trying again and again. Congratulations!

I found the place very welcoming and the staff very friendly and helpful. The food was very good, both fish and meat. The prices were reasonable. Recommended.

A family atmosphere. Where you immediately feel at ease and are truly welcomed like a regular. I found myself eating here for lunch while on a business trip. Two weeks later, the opportunity arose again, and I didn't go by chance, but because I had a good experience.

Truly excellent traditional Genoese home cooking, worthy of a 5-star rating. The atmosphere is simple and unpretentious. The space is packed with tables...always full, so reservations are required for both lunch and dinner. The house wine is good. Maurizio, the owner, is very welcoming and helpful, and he and his staff create a family-friendly atmosphere. Although the dishes are 5-star, the ambiance and the limited service (a few minor snags in the cleanliness) force me to give them 4 stars overall. However, the dishes are worth trying. I'll be back from time to time. Well done!

Good quality dishes, slightly on the small side. Extensive and varied menu. A terrible location on the edge of a ring road, but the interior is decorated with beautiful giant photographs of 19th-century Genoa.
