Eating here is an experience, not just for the palate. I'm a comic book fan, so I really appreciated the atmosphere as well as the food (which was unique). It's worth a try if you're in the area.

Genuine cuisine from the valleys behind Rapallo. This place sends you on a journey where natural ingredients meet love for hospitality. If food wasn't enough, the unique comic themed and cheerful setup will give each and everyone something to get curious or sharing about. For really interestedones, they should make sure to meet the host. 30+ years of cartoon network in real life, and drawings: he is The heart of the valley.

What a beautiful place and what good food! The comics are fantastic everywhere, neatly displayed on the walls, the ceiling, in the bathroom, everywhere! The dishes are excellent! The pansoti with walnut sauce are superb! Mr. Fausto is incredibly friendly, and all the staff are very kind. In short...we'll be back soon!

An unusual place whose theme brings together all the objects that are part of our childhood: comics and toys from every era—a veritable wonderland, in short. When you sit down to eat, however, things get serious, and the typical Ligurian dishes, with occasional Piedmontese influences, delight the palate, complemented by an extensive cellar stocked with wines from all over Italy (and even France). Nice place and helpful staff. Good ingredients, well-cooked. Their beers are excellent. Prices are slightly higher than expected. I'll repeat this experience in the summer with outdoor seating.

30/04/2026: This restaurant was definitely off the road but well worth the visit. It's pretty popular so if you get there during the lunch hour be prepared to wait. The food is definitely worth waiting for in the view is absolutely beautiful.
02/04/2026: The trattoria has been run by the Malatesta family for two centuries. Mother and elderly aunt in the kitchen, daughters Mara and her sister in the dining room. The truly excellent local cuisine, the atmosphere, and the family feel, along with excellent value, are unparalleled, so much so that it's worth traveling with my wife from Camogli two or three times a week. A trattoria that's always busy, open only on weekdays and Sunday lunchtime, and not on Saturdays, because the goal isn't to maximize profits, but to support the family. You can feel the beauty of the past, and I hope a place like this continues to exist.
