I arrived in Genoa less than 24 hours ago and I've already been to this fantastic place for lunch and dinner. Affordable, homemade, and incredibly delicious! The best pesto I've ever tasted and the aroma coming from the kitchen was sensational! Highly recommended!

If you want to try authentic Genoese pesto—good, delicious, and inexpensive—this is the place for you. We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, lost in the city's narrow streets. We arrived at 12:45 pm and it was already almost full (mostly Italians, which is a good sign). It's a restaurant with several rooms and a very welcoming atmosphere. The service was excellent throughout, and everyone was very friendly. We ordered: two plates of pesto pasta, two bottles of water, a quarter of a liter of wine, and two tiramisus, and the total came to €24. We were absolutely delighted with the food. I'd never tasted such delicious pasta, wine, or tiramisu (homemade), or even the olive oil! Everything was delicious. We were left wanting to try more dishes. The only downsides were that the bathroom left something to be desired in terms of hygiene and was a bit narrow, and the menu could be a little easier to read. Otherwise, if we return to Genoa, it will be a must-see. We'll definitely be back.

Excellent trattoria tucked away down a narrow little alley. We got lucky becaused they were about to close down because we were late for lunch hours, but they squeezed us in. Lots of old-school charm. We shared a table with another group and ordered from the handwritten menus. They were quick and responsive. Everyone in our group loved their meal, and my personal favorite was the ravioli ragu. The prices were reasonable and we had an incredible meal. Highly recommend.

The food was very good, but above all, the welcome provided by the people who work there was spectacular. Very simple but friendly.

Don't miss it; it maintains the same atmosphere and quality as always. I didn't find the potatoes and green beans in pesto like I used to, but the food is excellent. We'll gladly return.
