20/12/2025: Saturday evening at 9:30 pm, there were 10 of us, and I found out. I regret not taking photos. The cold cuts appetizer, presented straight from the fridge, looked old, and had a terrible aftertaste. The fat on the salami was disgusting and ruined my palate. Imagine eating cold, stale fat. The porcini pasta with mushrooms that had just been defrosted, with a little water in the bottom of the plate, was cut as thin as a slice and full of fat and sinew. I basically ate three pieces of meat. The baked potatoes were the same as the frozen ones sold at the Metro. A terrible experience, a ruined evening. The price for not having eaten was very high. Goodbye forever, gentlemen, improvised restaurateurs.

07/05/2026: Buenavista Ristobar in Viterbo was a fantastic dining experience. We enjoyed a perfectly cooked orata and delicious funghi porcini, both fresh and full of flavor. Our child loved the spaghetti as well. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing, and the staff were kind and attentive throughout the evening. Excellent food and service — highly recommended!

The location offers both indoor and outdoor seating; we ate right on the lake, with the waves crashing against the rocks—a truly wonderful atmosphere. The menu is on a blackboard and features lakeside specialties. We had bruschetta with whitefish, purple potato gnocchi with fish sauce, strozzapreti with whitefish and cabbage, and artichokes on the side. Short wait times, friendly and helpful staff, and excellent value. I loved everything and absolutely recommend it!

02/06/2026: We booked for two nights, but after the first, we ran away due to the unbearable smell of mold and dampness that lingered in the room, if you can call it that. Room 9 is a small building nestled among the vegetation, far from the main building. It has a glass entrance covered from the inside by curtains (it feels like sleeping in a shop window!), no bidet, and is very run-down. The owner offered us a room change, but we preferred to leave after finding a room in another hotel in the village. A terrible experience. Update June 2, 2026: After reading the owner's response to my review, I don't think anything else needs to be added. Miserable people show up on their own. I think there's nothing more to add other than to urge potential guests to verify my claims. Be careful!

01/06/2026: A farmhouse tucked away in the greenery, surrounded by nature, far from traffic. A comfortable, relaxing atmosphere, with a simplicity that relaxes you. Simple, comfortable rooms, a truly beautiful garden and pool with plenty of loungers. A convenient location in Upper Tuscia, close to the Tuscan Maremma and the Orvieto area of ​​Umbria. Abundant breakfast, homemade products...one dessert more delicious than the next. The half-board dinner was also excellent, and the wine selection was excellent. In our experience, it was the first place where they were truly attentive to offering delicious, varied, homemade options for lactose-free meals and breakfasts. Our only suggestion: be careful where the road leading to the farmhouse begins, as it's a bit hidden, even though it starts in the center after the church and near a supermarket. All the staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful... it was a wonderful vacation, and we hope to return soon.

19/08/2025: We went for dinner one evening on the recommendation of our friend Moira. We had a wonderful time, dining al fresco on a large veranda. The fish was incredibly fresh and the portions generous. The fried food was spectacular, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We'll be back.

02/06/2026: Being in the profession, I'd like to say a lot, but I'll limit myself to constructive criticism. Let's start by saying that out of four items chosen, not one matched the menu description: the tartare was supposed to be on a marrow boat, but when it arrived, there was no marrow and it was slathered on cherry tomatoes, lettuce, and carrots, with the meat so cold it seemed freshly defrosted—in short, very sad. Let's move on. After choosing a cockerel alla diavola, which wasn't available, I opted for a tagliata, and that wasn't available either. Then I was offered chicken alla cacciatora, and I accepted, but then I received a roasted leg and thigh that looked like it had been bought at a rotisserie. The last dish was fettuccine with red shrimp and zucchini, perhaps the only one vaguely resembling the menu description, except that the red shrimp were lost, and there were only three defrosted Ecuadorian prawns with three slices of boiled zucchini—a terrible result. Summary: A dinner to forget. My final criticism is the reservation. I requested to dine outside over the phone and was told it was windy and we could decide on the spot. When we arrived, everyone was eating on the veranda, so I requested to dine outside again, but was told it would rain soon (I should point out that there wasn't even a remote risk of rain), so with tables available outside and people dining on the veranda, they forced us to dine inside. I've been to many restaurants, but this is the first time I've encountered such a lack of professionalism.

23/05/2026: This family run restaurant is wonderful! I ordered a delicious daily special without the meat, no problem. The house wine and a mixed side salad perfect👍 It is convenient for parking with a lot right in front and the park across from that. Eat here!

11/11/2025: Compared to a few months ago (I think the management and name have changed), there have been many improvements. The prices are fair and the atmosphere is well-kept. I'm not giving it a 5 only because they don't make "simple" sandwiches (a classic ham and mozzarella, for example). Only tramezzini. Overall, a nice place.
