15/05/2025: Yesterday I had the immense pleasure of having lunch at this restaurant with a lake view, I must say that I eat gluten-free, they had some fantastic care. They immediately brought me some gluten-free bread made by them (yes, I know that many restaurants now do gluten-free but I assure you that few bring you bread), the bread was delicious. I appreciated the appetizer for two where there were things that both celiacs and non-celiacs could eat (often and willingly in mixed appetizers there are bruschetta and battered vegetables and with immense pleasure there were none here and I was able to taste everything), there were grilled vegetables, cheeses, cured meats, olives, everything delicious. As a first course I had the gluten-free fettuccine made by them with porcini mushrooms, what can I say, delicious, perhaps a little too salty, but that depends a lot on personal taste, it was enough to add a little salt to enjoy a fantastic dish. The dessert... damn the dessert, I had a panna cotta with salted caramel, that caramel was indescribable!!! Thanks for the attentions you had for me and my son (they made him fettuccine with a fresh tomato sauce). We will definitely be back.

14/05/2025: Anna is a wonderful person and an excellent cook who knows how to entertain and pamper her guests. We arrived at the end of the stage of the brigands' path sweaty and smelly on Easter Monday to a packed place, we expected a hasty welcome given the moment and instead she and her collaborators were very nice. I was also perplexed by the costs of the overnight stay, a little out of line with the rest of the accommodations but the location and treatment in my opinion justify them. During the stay she entertained us with her kindness making us feel like long-time friends. Hello Anna and thank you!!! Marina and Alberto

20/05/2025: Shocking and unacceptable experience. A colleague and I (not a couple, just two professionals on a lunch break) were victims of a very serious episode at the Zucchegni farmhouse. After we sat down, we discovered — thanks to what my colleague heard from the bathroom — that the kitchen staff, noticing my colleague's appearance, immediately assumed our sexual orientation and started making homophobic and sexually explicit comments, such as: "Two lesbians arrived... shall we try a threesome or a foursome?" What shall we do, shall we go one by one or all together? So not only discriminatory comments, but a clear and disturbing allusion to a gang rape, as if it were a locker room joke. After asking for explanations, the owner confirmed that what was reported was true. We were offered lunch to "apologize", which we hadn't eaten yet, but we obviously refused. The hands of those who prepare your food it is disgusting to know that they are governed by people like this, so we did not even taste the food. A place like this is dangerous, disrespectful and deeply sexist. Not recommended to anyone with ethics, education and common sense.

Io e una collega (non una coppia, solo due professioniste in pausa pranzo) siamo state vittime di un episodio gravissimo presso l'agriturismo Zucchegni.Dopo esserci accomodate, abbiamo scoperto — grazie a quanto sentito dal bagno dalla mia collega— che il personale della cucina, notando l'aspetto della mia collega, ha immediatamente dato per scontato il nostro orientamento sessuale e ha iniziato a far commenti omofobi e sessualmente espliciti, del tipo: "So' arrivate due lesbiche... ce provamo a fa’ na cosa a tre o a quattro?"Che famo, annamo uno per uno o tutte insieme? Non solo quindi commenti discriminatori, ma una chiara e disturbante allusione a un’aggressione sessuale di gruppo, come se fosse una battuta da spogliatoio. Dopo aver chiesto spiegazioni, la proprietaria ha confermato che quanto riferito era vero. Ci è stato offerto il pranzo per “scusarsi”, che per altro ancora non avevamo consumato, ma abbiamo ovviamente rifiutato. Le mani di chi ti prepara da mangiare è ributtante sapere che siano governate da persone di questo genere, dunque il cibo non lo abbiamo nemmeno assaggiato. Un luogo così è pericoloso, irrispettoso e profondamente sessista. Sconsigliato a chiunque abbia etica, educazione e buon senso.

25/05/2025: Rustic goodness: tasty typical dishes cooked with skill. We really appreciated the pizzicotti (typical handmade pasta) seasoned with amatriciana or with chicory and sausage. Also very tasty are the second courses such as the roast suckling pig, Antonietta's meatloaf and the tripe with sauce and the side dishes such as potatoes and chicory. The environment is simple and the service is attentive and fast. For lovers of gentian liqueur, here they serve an excellent one.

22/05/2025: Small guesthouse located in an extremely quiet village. Obviously it is not a real hotel, but the rooms are very clean and equipped with everything you need. I stayed for two nights in that small structure and I had a great time, the owner Mr. Gianni is an extremely kind and helpful person. On Saturday evening I also had dinner at the restaurant located in the structure and also in this case I had a great time with abundant dishes and at the right price. I attach the photo of a portion of tagliatelle with bacon and wild asparagus that I highly recommend. Ultimately a quality-price ratio above the norm, if I were to return to those areas I would not hesitate to book in this place. I believe that Mr. Gianni embodies the ideal hotelier/restaurateur, courteous and honest.

06/05/2025: We also had dinner here to recharge the electric car. I had never seen so many Tesla charging stations all together. There's also Enel. Really very convenient, also considering the position in relation to the road exit. The food is really excellent and cared for, the service very attentive. Our waiter was a gentleman of those of the past, very kind and discreet. The restaurant was busy but they were very quick. The only flaw, if you really want to find it, but it's a personal opinion, the dessert, although very good, is small for the price paid (8 euros, which is still in line with the level of the restaurant - berry, a banana mousse and strawberry jelly if I'm not mistaken, and more, in a nice shape) The hazelnut mayonnaise from the starter is spectacular. It was all flavorful and well done.

12/01/2025: Sono stata recentemente in questo ristorante e posso dire che ogni piatto è accompagnato da una spiegazione che valorizza la provenienza degli ingredienti, spesso biologici e a chilometro zero. Il personale è attento e cordiale, rendendo l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. Consiglio questo ristorante a chi cerca una cucina raffinata e genuina!

11/04/2025: Si mangia discretamente sia i primi che la carne, nulla di speciale ma sufficiente sia la qualità che ma quantità. Qualita prezzo quindi buona ed anche il servizio.

05/04/2025: Today my wife and I were there, we were looking for a place to eat good meat and we must say we found it. Aside from the quality of the food, which was decidedly good, the service and staff were also impeccable. Friendly and professional. I recommend it.
