Farmhouse where you eat like at home, lots and lots of it!!

I discovered this place at the suggestion of some friends and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. At a fixed price (€28) this very rustic location surrounded by greenery offers a complete menu, from starters to dessert, entirely made up of local and genuine products. The courses are fixed but varied: starting from the appetizer I was able to taste a selection of cured meats and cheeses, battered and grilled vegetables, bruschetta, plated pizza, beans. The first, however, is the main reason why this place deserves the best when it comes to food: I enjoyed some of the best gricie of my life. As if that wasn't enough, for the second course they served me a hearty mixed grill with a side of baked potatoes. To complete the lunch, wine, coffee, bitters and homemade dessert. The only flaw of this place is, perhaps, the total lack of signs that allow you to reach it if you don't have a navigator. They only accept reservations but if you are not aware of the fixed menu formula you may be a little confused because no waiter will inform you of how it works upon your arrival and will start serving the appetizers.

Beautiful farmhouse nestled in the valley overlooking the Farfa Abbey

Rustic farmhouse environment, free-range food and courtesy. Family lunch. The place was a little difficult to get to. Luckily my relatives who knew him guided me. We sat in one of the many rooms they have. The rich appetizer arrived immediately with a platter of cold cuts, fried meats, beans and margherita pizza. Everything excellent. We continued with a generous, really good gricia. Finally mixed roast and cooked vegetables. Accompanied by a good red wine. Coffee and bitters. All very good and at a fair price. It will be worth coming back. Friendly and helpful staff.

è vero che si trova un po' fuori mano ma ZUCCHEGNI rispetta tutti i parametri per essere un VERO agriturismo ... in un ambiente di serena rusticità con personale professionale e al contempo semplice e cordiale, velocissimi nel servizio; LA CUCINA È ECCEZIONALE. tanto cibo genuino.
