07/04/2026: My husband and I visited this restaurant on Easter Monday. Of course, the menu was fixed, but the quality of the food was excellent and the quantity was almost overwhelming. The staff was attentive and friendly.

06/04/2026: Excellent choice, we had a weekend getaway and ate here both days. Impeccable courtesy and hospitality, excellent quality food with generous portions! I recommend this restaurant and hope to return as soon as possible to enjoy their cuisine again.

07/04/2026: My partner and I needed tranquility and quality, so based on the reviews, we decided to stay here for three days. Matteo welcomed us immediately with a smile and helpfulness, managing to give us our room earlier than expected ☺️🙏. The room was simple but well-organized with the essentials—I must say, clean and spacious. Having two dogs, we let him know in advance, out of courtesy, and so he gave us a custom-made room. Seeing horses grazing freely, cats sunbathing on the chairs, and two dogs running free around the farmhouse gave us a taste of what it means to be in symbiosis with nature, not to mention enjoying an aperitif on the terrace while the birds chirped. There was no need for phones or TVs; a wonderful spectacle, in symbiosis, was already before us; the spectacle was perfectly imperfect. The home-cooked cuisine perfectly met my needs, being vegan, with simple dishes whose flavors reminded me of my grandmother's memories, made with love and quality. Excellent location for accessing both nearby lakes! A heartfelt thank you to all the staff 🙏🌿.

11/01/2026: Wow, every time I’m close to Sabina I come to this restaurant, family owned simple service. The foods are to die for at a Ma and pie price and I just had Real with like a Hunter sauce over mashed potatoes and then I had a salad on the side that was out of this world and before that I had pasta dish that I wish I could get in the states and I’d pay three times the amount that they charge here

07/04/2026: Excellent home cooking and top-quality ingredients. The homemade pasta is remarkable and the portions are generous. It's a shame we didn't try the zuppa inglese, as it was sold out. All the more reason to return :)

06/04/2026: Last Easter evening, my wife, my son Gianmarco, and I dined at this restaurant in Greccio, in the province of Rieti, and we were absolutely delighted with everything: the service, the quality of the dishes, the quantity of the entrees, and above all, the deliciousness of everything we ate, from the appetizers to the coffee. 04/04/2026: Bar and restaurant located in the center of town, in the square where the church and fountain are located (a popular gathering place for locals). The atmosphere is family-friendly, but not overly large, and above all, the menu is typical of the area, all handmade. I recommend booking on weekends, and I highly recommend it. You can't drive directly to the restaurant, but you can park on the road adjacent to the lake, just a few meters away.

22/03/2026: A truly welcoming trattoria, super friendly staff, and Francesco, the youngest and nicest waiter I've ever met, a guy who practically manages everything himself. I don't think I need to say anything about the food, it's truly delicious with lamb that melts in your mouth. The place is beautiful and well-kept, with a truly spectacular stone wall. I recommend it to anyone passing through the square in Colle di Tora.

02/01/2026: Nuraghe Murtarba is a magical place. Franca, Massimiliano, and Vincenzo will welcome you with open arms; people with huge hearts. If you plan to stay overnight, prepare to admire a "natural ceiling" of stars accompanied by the sound of goat bells. If you're just stopping by for dinner or lunch, come with an empty stomach to enjoy excellent Sardinian specialties made entirely in-house with the farm's own produce. From cheeses and cured meats to culurgiones (a type of ravioli filled with ravioli), roasts, vegetables, and desserts, you won't be disappointed.

14/12/2025: It's an experience. It's not a hotel or anything like that. You feel welcomed into their home. The atmosphere is familiar and welcoming. The food is traditional, made with homemade products, all excellent and well-prepared. The rooms are average and well-organized; there's no TV. I recommend having a kettle in the room, at least for the winter; it would make it even more welcoming, although any requests for something to drink would be welcomed and accommodated. We're in the open countryside, so flies and a few insects are normal; you have to consider where you are, especially regarding water and electricity use. There are several animals to admire, there's parking, and a lake nearby. The road to get there is a bit bumpy, but it's well-marked, so it's easy to find. The value for money is impeccable, I'd say.

27/07/2025: A unique experience in the province of Rieti. Two young people who had the courage to bet on the land! Ancient grains with a vision for the future. Rational grazing, knowledge sharing, and hospitality. And then the unmissable Harvest Festival, which this year is enhanced with a new wood-fired oven!

02/05/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at La Palazzina restaurant in Rieti, and it was a truly special experience. The restaurant has a significant history, carried on by six generations of restaurant owners, and the passion is evident in every detail. The owner, Giuseppe Amici, was very kind and took me on a tour of the restaurant, showing me photos and documents that tell the story of his family, including during World War II. This story makes the place even more interesting and adds significant value to the experience. The welcome was wonderful: the waiters were polite, attentive, and always available. The restaurant is clean and welcoming, and I really enjoyed both the indoor dining room and the outdoor garden, where the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxed. The food is truly excellent: the cacio e pepe was delicious and perfectly balanced, and I loved the tortelli with ricotta, zucchini flowers, and anchovies—truly unique and flavorful. The bruschetta, with their signature olive oil, was also special. The mixed meats and the bruschetta with lard were also excellent: everything was prepared with great care. Finally, the wine I tasted was truly nectar. I highly recommend this experience to anyone seeking good food, tradition, and a genuine welcome in a quaint city like Rieti. I thank Giuseppe, Oxana, and Leonardo for their wonderful welcome. I will definitely be back.

03/03/2026: We discovered a restaurant by chance on the side of the road. We ordered an appetizer: a platter with hot dishes (coratella and tripe) to share between two. The cured meats were incredibly fresh and hot. For starters, I highly recommend the gnocchi with mutton sauce... out of this world! The pieces of boneless meat were gigantic. Possibly the best mutton sauce I've ever eaten. I'll definitely be back. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff, from the kitchen to the dining room.

02/04/2026: When I go to Rieti, there's one thing I can't miss: lunch or dinner at Le Rocchette restaurant. I love this place because it's like a corner of a garden in the heart of the city. As for the food, it's a true explosion of flavor! The atmosphere is simple, serene, and welcoming—and the little room with the fireplace is simply adorable. The highlight? The waiter (whose name, unfortunately, escapes me now), who makes the experience even more enjoyable with his friendliness and professionalism. In short, if you're passing through Rieti or are a local and haven't yet visited Le Rocchette, give it a try: let me know!
