29/12/2024: The ambiance is perfect. Exposed stone with vaulted ceilings. A spacious yet intimate dining area. Excellent service!! And the food? Five star quality. The crudo is incredible and so fresh. The spaghetti vongole, rigatoni, amuse bouche…all perfectly seasoned and flavored. An enjoyable experience from start to finish. Lose yourself in rustic yet elegant surroundings in this wonderful restaurant, in a charming and historic setting.

04/11/2024: Pleasant environment, efficient service. Rather limited menu but the food is good. The prices of the dishes are honest but you can find some items that are not present in the final price and they seemed expensive to me (€14 for two place settings plus a jug of still water and half a liter of house red).

04/01/2025: We had dinner with the children in this somewhat isolated restaurant, I really appreciated the genuineness of the staff, the potato pie was excellent, the pappardelle with duck ragu was less so, the selection of meats was also excellent. I recommend it

17/01/2025: I went to this intimate restaurant today with my partner, we had booked because the place is small and has few seats. I immediately loved the simple and well-kept location and the kindness of the waiter who accompanied us throughout the lunch in a professional and delicate manner. Mr. Mauro's cuisine is worth praising, such a large kitchen in a small place. I would have eaten the entire menu if I could. The beef tartare was highly appreciated, one of the best I have ever eaten, and the selection of cured meats they have is also excellent. The truffle tagliolini and the fresh desserts made by them are also delicious... I ate 3!!! The products are of quality and you can feel it. I can't wait to go back.

20/01/2025: Just left, it's the fifth time we've come. Excellent quality food, all homemade and homemade (polenta with mutton sauce, fettuccine and gnocchi top marks, excellent local meat) and all plentiful, very kind staff, amazing amaro as well as their homemade desserts, the price it is low in proportion to quality and quantity. You can feel the true flavors of the food unfortunately lost in the city with industrial food. Congratulations....!!! See you soon thanks

06/12/2024: Friends living in the area brought us to this authentically charming restaurant, and we were welcomed as family. Every course and every morsel were fantastic - a meal we will always remember, including the delightful local wines. Capping it off, the warmth of Pino and Anna and the staff was one more element of a truly perfect afternoon. Grazie, Pino and Anna. We treasure this memory and hope to visit again!

29/12/2024: Recommended by friends, for goodness sake! Unwelcoming place. Service from the owner was remarkably rude and annoyed. All pre-cooked food. First courses served with a spoonful of sauce over boiled pasta. Unbound, unamalgamated and very poor. Pre-cooked second courses but some unusable such as a hard and unchewable baked brisket. Good tripe. Price not in line with service and quality.

21/12/2024: Very characteristic environment, with furnishings reminiscent of the old kitchens of the past, what can I say, simple but good food, courteous and helpful staff, with prices in line with other restaurants in the area

Essendo molto allergica, per me è fondamentale che i ristoranti prestino attenzione a questo tipo di esigenze e qui ho trovata uno staff super disponibile! Mi hanno dato tutte le informazioni necessarie e mi hanno fatta sentire da subito al sicuro. Il cibo è eccezionale e con tante opzioni per ogni gusto. La carta dei vini è veramente fantastica, mi ci sono persa! In più i prezzi sono davvero buoni, soprattutto considerando che da dove vengo (Reggio Emilia) sono molto più alti… Lo consiglio assolutamente e tornerò sicuramente se capita l’occasione

30/11/2024: I think it's difficult to find something better.....at all levels, I truly recommend it for groups of friends, children and occasions in an environment like few others I've seen. A huge round of applause. WELL DONE!!!! I returned after a year because I go to get the delicious local oil and I found them even better. This is the post from last year, we went back and found a delicious surprise, some superb local ravioli with local ricotta and spinach, in a tomato sauce so good that I made a slipper with 6 slices of bread. A real delight.
