Recommended for those who love traditional, authentic, and healthy cuisine. Recommended by a friend, I went for dinner and lunch the next day. The roast suckling pig and meatloaf were top notch; for me, the rest (starters, main courses, and side dishes) were excellent. The owners serving at the tables are perfect hosts.

Went there on a recommendation...it got very crowded very quickly...all locals... A very friendly waiter advised us...everything was excellent.
Just way too much.
An absolute must if you're in Rieti.
However - get there early enough or reserve a table.

A small, rustic restaurant where you can feel the atmosphere of times gone by, from the warm welcome to the quality of the dishes.
When ordering, follow the owners' advice and you're guaranteed a great meal.
PS: It's one of the few places where they still serve half portions (like the ones you see in the photos).
PPS: It's one of the few places where the dishes are tied to the days of the week (like: cod on Fridays).
