18/08/2025: I think it deserves 5 stars for the excellent value. Generous portions. Going into detail: The mixed appetizers were good, especially the parmigiana and the original flavored beans (no spoilers 😀). The first courses were also good: amatriciana, strictly without onion; spaghetti al Bottarolo, original. Main courses were okay: saltimbocca alla romana reinterpreted with pork; tripe, strictly classic. The bread was good. The coffee was excellent. The desserts were less impressive. The bathroom was clean. We'll be back.

26/07/2025: During our stay on Ponza, a beautiful but decidedly expensive island, my friends and I were aware of the high prices, especially in restaurants. However, we always carefully chose places that combined quality seafood, a charming location, and a warm welcome. And I must say that, four out of five times, we were quite satisfied, even with the "hefty" bills. The only real disappointment was dinner at La Lanterna da Silverio, on Corso Carlo Pisacane. We ordered an octopus with potatoes appetizer (good but a small portion) and a grouper fillet for the main course. And here's the surprise: we were served a microscopic slice, about 10x5 cm, without any side dish, for €22. We then ordered a plate of baked potatoes, which was also very modest in quantity. As for the quality of the fish, there's nothing to complain about: it was fresh and well-cooked. However, the portion was so small that we suspected the intended slice had been split between two people. When I observed the food, the staff seemed unhelpful, almost annoyed, and the owner, who had been courteous upon arrival, didn't even approach to explain or listen to the customer. We left the table with a bitter taste in our mouths and the feeling that we hadn't received service commensurate with the price. It's a shame, because in Ponza you can eat well even if you pay a lot... but still feel respected as customers. In this case, unfortunately, we felt cheated. So if you're looking for a good value (a fair one), they don't deliver.

31/07/2025: And who would have thought that such a small café could offer delicious vegan treats: croissants, tarts... even the excellent coffee. The staff was incredibly kind!

Pasta sin gluten excepcional, muy buena la carne al 34 con queso y puerro. Y brutal el tiramisú. Espectacular. Una velada muy entretenida. Gracias.

28/07/2025: We were greeted by a very friendly waiter who pointed us to the best dishes and the food was superb. We had the trionfo di carciofi as a starter and I had the saltimbocca alla romana as a main. Everything was excellent. We regularly go to this restaurant when we are in Rome and we have never been disappointed.

25/07/2025: Estoy en Roma visitando a mi primo y decido probar Garigliano. Menú sencillo con algunos platos de pescado y carnes. Probamos un poco de la ensalada de mariscos. Uno sobre una taza de arroz , el otro una mezcla de calamares y pulpo: por la cantidad que pagué , IT trataba de una cantidad muy pequeña de mariscos , el sabor era muy sencillo y hecho muy barato . Para principal pedí la lubina a la parrilla cubierta con patatas en rodajas. Por 35 euros me sirvieron un filete, ni siquiera el pescado entero: el pescado estaba bien: El servicio estaba bien: Hay muchos restaurantes mejores en Roma : Muy decepcionado.

12/08/2025: Amazing authentic, handmade and tasty dishes! The portions were very generous and the value was very good. The pasta dishes were extremely good. The tiramisu was something I’ll dream about for a long time!! The staff really cared about you being there and clearly work hard. So glad we only stayed 3 buildings away in a hotel from here. Our favourite restaurant of our week in Rome!

05/08/2025: A REAL trattoria, family-run for years, offering quality traditional dishes and flavors. The food, the warm service, and the family atmosphere make you feel right at home. Lifelong tiramisu lovers can't miss this one. We'll be back!

19/07/2025: We ate here 3 nights out of 4 during our stay in Rome, trying something different every night. The staff were friendly and talkative, and spoke multiple languages. The menu consisted of many different meals including pasta, pizza, and burgers. There was only one night we had a starter but we chose the cold meat platter for 2 which was probably enough for 3. I would recommend the basil and pistachio lasagne, which was to die for as was the Bolognese lasagna (no need for a side salad). But the real treats are the desserts especially the pannacotta and tiramisu. The view from the restaurant was the top of St Peter's basilica (which was ruined by the burger king on the opposite side of the road). But the staff and food definitely make up for it Would definitely give this restaurant a try.

16/06/2025: La comida era buena, pero la camarera es claramente racista. Ella era muy amable con los blancos, pero para mí como asiática es HORRIBLE. ¡Nunca más volveré a este restaurante!
