24/07/2025: For a sandwich, a pinsa, or a quick pasta dish, this is the perfect place. Excellent quality ingredients, fair prices, and a good and wide selection. A bit chaotic, there's often a long line to get a table, regardless of the season. Service is a bit sketchy and basic. One of Latina's historic businesses, worth supporting 💪🏻

14/07/2025: Fun experience. We did the four course set menu. The food was ok – not bad by any means but it was not what I expected after finding it on the Michelin list. Stand out was the beef dumplings. Note: They charge for the tap water, service charge per person, chareged for bread that we didn't receive... Nothing insane but 2€ for every little thing adds up for sure so this is something to note. if considering a visit.

12/07/2025: Everything but the food was good. Server recommended ~10 dishes as they were small dishes for a table of 3. Needless to say I've never wanted more for a server to not bring food at a restaurant before especially for the price you pay

13/07/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while traveling with our daughter, and it turned out to be a wonderful discovery. Excellent food, efficient, and courteous service. We were only able to order a starter because we were running behind schedule, but we'll be back to try more. They even accommodated our little one with a tomato pasta dish, which she thoroughly enjoyed.

15/08/2025: Very welcoming place, friendly staff, we were already customers under the old management. Today, August 15th, I'm returning with my family and find the new management. Good food, service, a bit lacking in experience. We ordered a mixed appetizer, I'm sorry to say, but we're used to the old management where it was really abundant, here for the price you pay, it's not exactly the best. However, the thing that bothered us was that we ordered a beef steak. We asked how much it weighed, approximately, and they told us between 0.300 and 0.350 grams at a cost of €4.50 per 100 grams, okay, we took it. Plus, we ordered a zucchini and sausage pizza, two more pizzas. And so far, so good. I went to pay and on the bill I found a steak for €0.560. I'll start by saying that no one said anything to us and no one showed us the weight of the meat. So on one bill I know I'll pay €13-15 for a steak, on the other €25.80. Also because by law, meat must always be weighed in front of the customer when the bill is per 100 grams. The pizza with zucchini and sausage is listed as zucchini and shrimp. I don't think the sausage costs the same as the shrimp. Perhaps it should have been said, "Look, I'll make it with zucchini and sausage," but since that's not an option, the cost is the same as the one with shrimp. Maybe it was up to me whether to accept it or not. It's a shame because we always had a great time with the old owners. I recommend you follow in their footsteps.

11/07/2025: Cucina ottima, sia ristorante che pizzeria e, cosa molto importante per me che sono celiaca, l'intero menu sia di cucina che di pizza è disponibile con o senza glutine. Sono attentissimi alle contaminazioni, e la qualità di tutto ciò che ho preso senza glutine è davvero eccellente!

09/07/2025: A very tasty stop...La Nichia Cafe was the meeting place and first stop on our food tour. Like so many others, we enjoyed the food, wine and atmosphere. We now know about the quality olive oils and balsamics and had a chance to taste and compare the differences.

28/06/2025: This a fantastic little cafe. We went there on a food tour and were able to taste so many of their products they sell. High quality balsamic vinegar up to 30 year aged!! (Pricey) Delicious pestos basil and sundried tomato both. The classic Italian meats are fantastic. Wonderful prosecco and vernaccia as well as chianti classico. Go find this place (not far from Bonci pizza) or better yet do 'the Roman Food Tour' and you will get the best experience!!

15/07/2025: I was initially skeptical about seafood in Rieti, but I was completely blown away. The quality and craftsmanship were excellent. Generous portions, the takeout option was convenient and efficient. The chef and staff were incredibly kind, even offering us a complimentary bottle of wine. They also offer excellent seafood tagliatelle, including gluten-free ones. Take advantage of it!

10/08/2025: A hidden gem next to the Trevi Fountain: Quirino Restaurant Sometimes, Rome gives you moments that seem like they're written in a movie script. We arrived today from Barcelona, where I live, because I wanted my aunt Myriam, recently arrived from Colombia, to experience this beautiful and spectacular city. My aunt Miriam and I were walking, enjoying the eternal charm of the Trevi Fountain, when, a few meters away, we ran into Emma. With a bright smile and a friendliness that invites you to follow her, she led us to her family's restaurant: Quirino. Founded in 1959 by her grandfather—who arrived from Sicily with his brother, carrying recipes and dreams—this place exudes tradition. It's not just a restaurant; it's a living piece of Roman and Sicilian history. Within its walls, fresh pasta is not a fad, but a legacy passed down from generation to generation. The restaurant's decor itself is part of the experience: every corner tells a story, showing how Quirino has adapted to each era and every life without losing his essence. It's like walking into a memory album where the walls hold the memories of all these years. We ate a delicious Carbonara with its spectacular guanchale and freshly made pasta, and some finger-licking taglietelle al ragu. They also gave us a piece of freshly baked apple pie, which Emma says is her mother's recipe that they are trying to replicate with one of the chefs! It must be said that it was delicious! It was then that we met Elisabetta, Emma's mother, who shared a story that left us speechless: her mother—Emma's grandmother—made a cannoli so extraordinary that Pope John Paul II was captivated by its flavor, making it his birthday cake year after year. And the surprise didn't end there. Chatting with Elisabetta, we discovered we had many things in common: her daughter is studying dentistry in Madrid, but her passion is the restaurant; my husband is a dentist, and so is his. So many coincidences made us feel at home, as if we had known each other all our lives. Our experience was simply fantastic: the warm service, the welcoming atmosphere, the aromas that enveloped the room, and, of course, the flavors… Each dish felt like a hug. We left feeling like we had experienced something unique. Quirino is not just a restaurant: it's a journey back in time, a bridge between Sicily and Rome, a place where stories are told through food… and even the walls have something to say. If you are lucky enough to be in the Eternal City, don't pass up the opportunity to experience it. We wholeheartedly recommend it. Tatty and Myriam.

06/08/2025: Carbonara is so-so...old-school atmosphere, but professional and knowledgeable waiters. Prices are reasonable for being right next to the Trevi Fountain.

14/06/2025: Last night I had dinner for the first time at this highly reviewed pizzeria. Appetizer: frittatina nerano and potato croquettes, the worst 'Neapolitan' fried foods I've ever eaten (soft, full of oil and probably badly defrosted). Pizzas: Liguria and Campania were good, nothing excellent, for 12 euros each I would have expected much better. The bill was steep. 55 euros to eat two pizzas, two fried foods, two glasses of prosecco and water. Service 2.5 per person, which is crazy since the air conditioning was practically non-existent and the place was as hot as outside.

05/08/2025: Packed with locals, Il Sorpasso was a quick respite for the evening. We wanted some wine, meats, and cheese to tide us over before dinner. It was an excellent experience with very knowledgable staff who were patient with us, explaining everything we asked in almost perfect English. Visiting here made me wish I lived locally so I could stop in on another random Wednesday evening!

12/08/2025: I watched a video by a Japanese YouTuber and found out in advance that the menu was available in Japanese if you displayed it using a QR code, which was very helpful. The staff were also very helpful, coming to ask me what I wanted when I had decided on my menu and quickly clearing away empty plates. This was a restaurant that I will remember for a long time.
