01/03/2026: The restaurant is a bit out of the way coming from Verona. Excellent Angus beef stew with mashed potatoes. Amazing coffee sorbet. The food is good. I wasn't satisfied with the gnocco fritto appetizer: for four people, a tiny platter of cured meats with five pieces of gnocco fritto. Good, but very limited.

01/01/2026: We spontaneously stopped there for lunch today during our hike. The risotto with tench was excellent. The service was very attentive and friendly. The menu is significantly different from the usual trattoria fare. We look forward to another visit in the summer when we can sit in the idyllic garden under the olive trees.
26/12/2025: Highly recommended, a lovely location, very close to Garda but away from the hustle and bustle! The cuisine is excellent, with quality ingredients and truly exquisite meat. The service and staff were welcoming and very helpful. We were truly satisfied. We will definitely return in the warmer months to enjoy the beautiful outdoor area.

01/01/2026: Hello, we spent New Year's Eve, a special evening, also because it was my birthday, truly beautiful, from the dining room to the terrace and panoramic location... The menu was amazing, carefully curated and everything was delicious, we had several opportunities for various occasions to try different types of menus and we were not disappointed. The owner and the qualified staff, we must say that at Torcoli you are guaranteed quality and friendliness. It is highly recommended!!!!! P.S. compliments to the chef... See you next time. Monica63
28/12/2025: For the Christmas period and its magnificent location, the restaurant could have been better maintained, but what really amazed me was the service. From 7:30 PM, the last course was served at 11:15 PM. Not even the most atrocious wedding lasts that long, and honestly, even the most delicious dish becomes boring if you wait 40 minutes for each course. Special mention goes to the gnocchi with fondue and truffle.

09/01/2026: Probably the best tortellini in Valeggio, with its incredibly thin pasta and exceptional filling, excellent both in broth and dry. The main courses are also noteworthy; I had duck à l'orange, the special of the day, which was truly remarkable! The wine list is also good. Attentive and friendly staff, a welcoming place.
06/01/2026: A great classic of the finest Italian gastronomy, the home of the excellent tortellino. The best tortellini in the world, prepared every morning by six splendid pasta makers, overseen daily by the wisdom of the longtime owners, the Pasquali family, led by the wonderful and ever-brilliant Nadia. A very thin pastry and a boiled meat filling made daily by boiling six different meats, none of which are cured meats, hence the lightness and extraordinary flavor. The dining room, always packed and crowded, is masterfully managed by the talented Roberto, a top-notch maître d' who leads a large and fast-paced dining room team. Last but not least, the historic and meticulously maintained restaurant is located in the beautiful center of town, just steps from the splendor of Borghetto, which more than a visit deserves a spiritual immersion... or a wedding! 😉

19/01/2026: I'd never been to a risotto restaurant before, it was a fantastic experience. I could live on rice, I love it in every way! 😃 I tried the risotto with Amarone and pumpkin, the one with shrimp and balsamic vinegar, and the one all'isolana, which I personally liked the least. The portions are generous. Anyway, it was worth the hour-long drive! 😃 I'll be back to try the other risottos!
18/01/2026: This place proves that you can be well-known while maintaining quality and affordability. The restaurant is pleasantly furnished in a rustic style, with choices and furnishings that create a delightful atmosphere. The three tables in front of the counter, very close to the entrance, may not be very inviting, but they're a way to increase seating capacity given the small space. It specializes in risottos, with an extensive selection of appetizers and desserts. Everything is excellent, with unique and very tasty combinations, generous portions, and, last but not least, reasonable prices. My experience was very positive, made even more so by the kindness of all the staff, even when the restaurant was fully booked. It's a shame I live out of the area and won't be able to be a more regular customer.

There's so much to choose from, offering refined flavors for even the most discerning palates. The service is excellent, and the ambiance, both inside and out, is beautiful.

12/01/2026: A questionable experience, to say the least. We booked a table for a drink and to listen to a band; some ate, some didn't. Only in hindsight did we realize that, being a trattoria, everyone was expected to eat: an oversight on our part, which we readily acknowledge. The real problem is the way the situation was handled. Instead of an explanation, we received comments like "I lost tonight with you" and "It's not a church." Phrases like that convey nothing more than that you're a second-rate customer, even adding contempt. Given that the place was packed and they certainly didn't lose, it's clear that it's not a question of money, but of style. These comments are unacceptable. We've been here before to drink and listen to music outside, but I'll definitely think twice before choosing this place. We frequent the live music scene, a small world where certain attitudes are noticed and remembered. After a scene like that, it's natural to wonder whether this is really a place worth recommending or supporting. Not exactly a good move.

The food is truly excellent, although in my opinion there's still room for improvement to achieve the attention to detail the restaurant's image promises. A suggestion to the owners: the staff is extremely friendly, but a less frenetic pace of service would help you enjoy the evening more. A little extra magic—dim lighting, the right music, or a small welcome from the kitchen (perhaps a crostini with local olive oil)—would make the experience truly unforgettable. It's worth a try!
18/02/2026: Passing through from Montpellier, I loved it! The food is incredibly authentic, the pasta is perfectly al dente, and the wine and aperitif list is fantastic. Great atmosphere, very welcoming, with a truly professional team. A rare find that does Italy proud. Bravo!

04/01/2026: We stayed one night: the bed was very comfortable and had a nice topper. The room isn't very large but is well-furnished and offers all the comforts. The bathroom is spacious, with a nice shower and a complimentary toiletries kit. Breakfast offered a wide selection of both sweet and savory options, although I would have preferred more homemade cakes (their homemade jams are delicious). Located in a secluded and quiet area. Given the time of year, we didn't use the pool. Everyone was very friendly. A note about the trattoria: the food is good and the service is good, but I was served a fillet of sea bass with five bones. When I pointed this out to the waiter who asked if everything was okay, he joked about it. Well... I was a little disappointed. Otherwise, everything was fine. Reasonable prices.

03/03/2026: Spending an evening at 12 Apostoli is certainly a truly unforgettable experience. An ancient restaurant, simply wonderful, where you can breathe history, culture, and passion, with a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were impeccable: kind, attentive, and always smiling. Each course is prepared down to the smallest detail, with authentic but not always surprising flavors. The appetizers are admirable, with a wide array of flavors. The sea bass and goat cheese wafer is a real surprise. Fantastic. It's a shame about the first course, where my wife didn't like the smell and taste of the oven-dried yeast... and it is indeed very unique. And the same must be said for the partridge with pearà and brown stock, where the very tender meat was overpowered by a pearà that was truly... too peppery. The wine pairings were good, except for the Barolo, which was perhaps a little dull for the accompanying courses. The sweet wine paired with the desserts was excellent... perhaps a little expensive! The requirement that all diners must choose the same route is limiting.

09/03/2026: Lunch during a Sunday motorcycle ride... The cabin-style restaurant with a huge fireplace offers a splendid view. The excellent service goes hand in hand with the excellent food. We had the gnocchi sbatui with melted butter and the pappardelle with venison ragù... stellar!!! A delicious cheese platter with jam, and to top it off, two desserts... everything was truly excellent!!! Highly recommended!!!
08/03/2026: Excellent quality raw materials. The salt embargo ended 40 years ago. 1942 ended 80 years ago, and in the meantime, new customer segments have emerged, including vegans. I don't ask for the "beyond meat" cutlet or the turnip cotechino, but at least a tomato pasta dish or spaghetti with garlic and chili pepper. I suggest being more relaxed with the customer; I know that as a vegan, I'm difficult, but I don't want to feel like I'm being treated poorly or with annoyance or superficiality. That said, I'll definitely bring my non-vegan friends.
