When you're on the highway at lunchtime, you look for a restaurant to avoid the Autogrill sandwich. You leave, find yourself lost in the countryside, and think, "Where am I going?!" But when you arrive and they treat you like an old friend, pamper you with their warmth, serve you delicious dishes and wines to match, you quickly change your mind! It was the tastiest and best-served pit stop I've ever had, and I can't wait to go back! Congratulations to everyone!

My husband and I celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary. It's always wonderful to return to this place. The guys make you feel at home, they're friendly and welcoming. The food is excellent, always fantastic. Keep it up! 😚

This is truly a gem in the Lake Garda area. Upon entering, there is a tile with your name on it! The food is really delicious and of high quality. Super friendly staff, especially the “duo”. 😅 (Oh, by the way, bring some cash if you want to give a tip, as that isn't possible if you pay by card.)

What can I say... ASSUME you come here for dinner... ASSUME you liked everything, from the service to the dishes, from the location to the wine selection... shouldn't we give it five beautiful stars?! Congratulations, especially for the ossobuco... I was amazed 👏👏👏

08/06/2026: A trattoria with traditional flavors and a relaxing atmosphere. I have to give the food 4 stars, however, because the portion of the tagliata we ordered was too small for the price. And 15 euros for a bottle of house wine seemed excessive. Otherwise, it was good.
07/06/2026: Found almost by chance, Trattoria Al Portego was a wonderful discovery. It's the ideal place for those seeking authentic local flavors, without pretentious reinterpretations, but with a focus on substance and quality.

21/05/2026: One of the most beautiful restaurants in Malcesine. You sit on a rooftop terrace with sun protection and enjoy pleasant music. The service is very friendly and fast, and the food is incredibly delicious. The prices are still reasonable compared to Italian restaurants in Germany. Highly recommended. However, you should definitely make a reservation. Because once you've been here, you'll want to come back ❤️...
