05/02/2026: Locanda Lo Scudo is a truly interesting, refined, and elegant place. It's a place where you immediately feel at ease, thanks to the cozy atmosphere and the friendly, attentive service. The staff is always smiling and professional.
We ate fish and loved it: especially the sea bass, which was incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked. It was a wonderful experience; we relaxed and disconnected from everyday life.
A very beautiful, charming, slightly quirky place, and above all, with truly delicious cuisine.

06/02/2026: Excellent restaurant in the center of Verona, with a refined atmosphere, impeccable service, and excellent food. It's worth a visit. Among the desserts, the tiramisu with pandoro stands out, a real treat.
05/02/2026: Exceptional, quality is the watchword, combined with elegance and kindness. The food is excellent, especially the revisited versions of Venetian dishes, and the wines are excellent. We tried specialties paired with local wines, from Prosecco to Amarone and Recioto. Highly recommended.

A kind of "modern" trattoria that maintains classic recipes and flavors without distorting tradition.
Superb value for what you get; including appetizer, first course, second course, dessert, coffee, water, and wine, we spent just over €40 per person, more than fair for the quantity and quality.
Highly recommended!

03/11/2025: I was truly satisfied, first and foremost, with the service—the kindness, courtesy, and hospitality of the waiters. It was an experience of local flavors, with beautiful presentation. The chef puts heart and soul into what he does, and the food is quality. I also asked for wine recommendations, and they were spot on! What can I say...a truly one-of-a-kind experience! I will recommend and hope to return!

Usually, they bring the drinks first, then the food... I asked politely, and she replied, "I'M WORKING..."
You're lucky you have a nice restaurant, even if the prices are a bit...
I'd like to rethink my relationship with the customers for a moment...

10/03/2026: We visited Verona for a school camp trip, and we visited Piazza delle Erbe. In my opinion, this square is amazing and particular. You can buy detailed souvenirs (be aware that some of the souvenirs are fragile) of Verona in small shops there, most of which feature major monuments in the city like the arena and the Juliet statue. The giant clock there resembles a massive part of history and time. However, sometimes, food sold there can be tricky to carry before and while eating; for example, a dessert of a cup of chocolate with strawberry and some “panna” sold in one of the ends of the shop area, while tasty, can usually be sticky, especially "panna." But overall, it was a fun square to visit, especially in the late afternoon.

Honestly, I wasn't happy.

The pizzas are made with quality ingredients, well-leavened and easily digestible dough, carefully cooked, and balanced flavors. The venison with polenta is also excellent.
The service is friendly and fast, always attentive without being intrusive. You can sense the passion of those who work with professionalism and consistency, offering a simple yet authentic experience.
A place that has proven its reliability over time. Highly recommended.

There were three of us and we shared three first courses: all very good, as were the second courses.
You absolutely must try the pork feather, which is exceptional.
All in a great atmosphere, with super friendly and helpful service.
At the end of the evening, they even offered us their grappa.

The cocktail prices are perfectly reasonable, as are the pizzas. The salad was quite small for €12…
However, everything tasted great and arrived quickly.
The service was, as always, super friendly and the staff spoke good English.
The cover charge was the usual €2 per table per person.
21/01/2026: The pizzas were delicious, with a good crust. The sandwiches were also tasty.
The waitress was very helpful and spoke several languages.
