During our stay at the wine festival in Bardolino, we followed our hotel's recommendation and discovered this wonderful trattoria – and what a find it was! We were two couples and felt warmly welcomed from the very first moment. We'd especially like to mention Lorenzo, who made the evening perfect with his charming manner, first-class advice, and service you could only wish for. You immediately notice that he's passionate about his job – attentive but never intrusive, always with a smile and a suitable wine recommendation at hand. The food? A dream! Everything is handmade, lovingly prepared down to the smallest detail – from the fresh pasta to the delicious desserts. Every bite tasted of pure Italy, of tradition and true passion for cooking. You can sense the attention to detail, both in the presentation of the dishes and in the cleanliness of the place. Everything arrived on time and at the right temperature, which is always appreciated. I found the prices fair for the quality offered, and the staff was excellent. It's the ideal place for a quiet lunch or an informal dinner. I will definitely be back.

10/09/2025: A fabulous place to eat good, authentic food. The waiters are fabulous and organized. We didn't book outside, but as soon as someone got up, the waiter called us over and we were served perfectly.

08/09/2025: We were there for the first time. The mountain hut is nice and intimate, and you share tables with other people. This is nice. We ate inside because the weather didn't allow for outdoor dining. A very kind young man served us. We had 1 mountain gnocchi, 1 lentil soup with lard, 1 fettuccine with fresh mushrooms. They didn't meet our tastes. I don't want to denigrate the work of these people, so I'll say that our tastes are probably different. The gnocchi tasted too much like flour; I've had them elsewhere and they seemed different. The fettuccine with mushrooms was too spicy for me. The soup was a real treat! 1 buckwheat cake with jam and 1 tart with jam. Good. A hazelnut cake that they'd never tasted before was very pleasant. All for €83. Unfortunately, I deleted the photos.

02/11/2025: We made a last-minute reservation for two and they found us a table. While we waited, the staff at the entrance were very friendly and courteous. The food was good and the place was clean. The rest of the staff were very polite. It's a shame they didn't have any more tiramisu.... I recommend it!!! Excellent pizza of the month 🤪

12/10/2025: Passing by on a motorcycle tour, excellent choice. On the staff's recommendation, we ordered a tomahawk steak cut in half and a side of potatoes. It melted in our mouths. Very good, cool place. Friendly, fast, and knowledgeable staff. Almost like friends. Satisfied.

12/10/2025: Excellent pizza, excellent burger, great price, with drinks for two and coffee for €22 each. It's noisy, but it's bearable and therefore excellent value. Plus, the owner is welcoming and the staff is friendly, so 10 stars.

31/08/2025: I went for lunch a few weeks ago. I recommend this restaurant to everyone. The vegetable buffet is amazing, the price is €4 per plate, and you can have as much as you want. We ate very well. The price is very fair. We'll be back soon. Well done. San Bortolo is a little village worth discovering (the jam corner in the church is a fantastic idea 😁).

30/10/2025: We went to this place attracted by the positive reviews, and we're joining in. The place is welcoming, and the owner is very kind and knowledgeable. The food is excellent and freshly prepared. The deconstructed millefeuille was out of this world. Great experience.

27/10/2025: I ate inside the restaurant: white tablecloths, nice cutlery, and a well-kept, charming, and clean place. Outside, the table settings were minimal, presumably because it was cold outside and therefore unsuitable for lunch. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. Excellent food with generous portions. The menu features both meat and fish dishes, along with homemade desserts. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.
