14/05/2026: I went to Lo Stappo with fairly high expectations given the location and the reviews, but unfortunately, the experience wasn't positive. The tortelli with robiola cheese and shrimp were quite disappointing: the dish was poorly balanced and, absurdly enough, there was practically only one shrimp. Given the price and presentation, I definitely expected more. The service wasn't the best either. Aside from the person who initially greeted us, who was kind and professional, the rest of the staff was quite rude. It's a shame, because the setting is very beautiful and the place has potential, but overall, I wasn't satisfied with the experience.

13/05/2026: This small town is considered, and rightly so, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Strolling through the narrow streets, fascinated by the various structures equipped with fully functioning water mills, we notice "Lo stappo." The season allows us to stop in the summer terrace, completely surrounded by the river. For our appetizer, I choose "pike in sauce with polenta" followed by "leek and Asiago omelette." All washed down with a good Lugana wine. The flavors are truly excellent, so we decide to round off the meal with a cheese selection and a glass of passito. I therefore end this experience on a high note, knowing I've chosen a place that probably has every reason to envy other restaurants in the area.

07/05/2026: Simple is best! It's not a fancy, expensive Michelin-starred restaurant. But you get really good food, good wine, all prepared and served with love. This proves that good dining doesn't have to be expensive! We're already looking forward to our next visit!

09/06/2026: Our dinner at Antica Torretta was a pleasant experience: we appreciated the great attention to detail and the refinement, but above all the high quality of the food, which was delicious. We especially sampled the bigoli and lamb, both superb. The interior is also very elegant, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

14/05/2026: My wife and I spent a weekend at the castle. We purchased the package including a room, spa, and dinner. Everything was simply wonderful: the room was fabulous, the spa remarkable, and the dinner excellent. We were thrilled! The next morning we took a guided tour with the owner (requested when booking). Well, what can I say? If everything up to that point had been magnificent, the guided tour (in our opinion) is a must-do if you visit the castle. The owner, a very knowledgeable and empathetic person, guided us through the ancient and recent history of both the castle and the owners. Everything was FANTASTIC!

21/05/2026: The restaurant is spacious and welcoming, surrounded by greenery, with a lovely portico at the entrance. The staff is young, kind, and friendly. The dishes were very good; we had the appetizer for two and the ostrich main course, both very good and tasty. Finally, the dessert, a fragrant pastry filled with a fresh, light cream, was also very good. Prices were average. Recommended.

18/05/2026: Excellent dinner; the pea and pumpkin lasagna was a delightful surprise. We thoroughly enjoyed it... And what can I say about the little ricotta and red berry cake! Yum.

14/07/2025: "Il Mangiabottoni" was a pleasant discovery! A somewhat hidden osteria, but located in a beautiful setting. Exceptional dishes (I can't describe the veal tartare with brioche bread... out of this world!), excellent service, and a very elegant location. Average prices. Definitely worth a visit!

Baptisms, communions, special evenings or lunches... we go to Mara, with an enthusiasm, a certainty, and a trust we find nowhere else. The attention to detail, the always refined, attentive, and different menus, allow us to discover new emotions every time. The service is impeccable, and Lucio, with his patience, professionalism, and smile, is a presence that makes the difference in the dining room. Only one thing never changes: the feeling we get every time we walk through that door: being at home, being among family, feeling good, and having the prerequisite assurance that everything, absolutely everything, will be great! Hidden in a small village, this corner of paradise remains in your heart and makes you want to return every time you want to feel truly at home! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
