09/06/2025: I had never been there but I always heard great things about it, I can only confirm, I had the tuna and my boyfriend the pizza, everything was excellent, top atmosphere and service ♡ the waitress Franceaca was very kind! Why can't you put 100 stars?

15/06/2025: A very nice restaurant, well located, and super clean. The food was delicious, but the portions were so small that we had to go back for more food right afterward. It's OK for a snack after you've already eaten. The appetizer platter was also disappointing.

14/06/2025: This family-run hotel with restaurant was a pleasant surprise the first time and a definitive confirmation when we returned in mid-May for a second time. A quiet place, clean rooms, a simple and warm welcome. An excellent restaurant! A delightful place to stay in the company of family and friends near both the spa and Lazise and Peschiera del Garda for a relaxing and peaceful weekend. You absolutely have to try their pomegranate-based aperitif!

10/06/2025: Had lunch for a baptism in a beautiful place with a view of the surrounding plain. Excellent lunch as was the service.

02/06/2025: Regardless of the cuisine of the place, I don't think I will return to this restaurant. I went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and overall the experience was disappointing. The main room of the restaurant is very large. The noise and the amount of people made it seem like I was in the Pirelli canteen in the 70s during the lunch break, except that the diners were all dressed up. Insufficient staff for the amount of people. Long waits even just to ask for a bottle of water. Last but not least, they brought me a different dish than the one I had ordered, without warning me in advance. A choice made by the chef given my allergy to certain foods. I would not have ordered the dish that was served to me if I had been warned in advance because the menu had more interesting choices that were compatible with my allergy. In short, a bit of a disaster considering that it doesn't even cost 2 cents. My heartfelt advice: if you want to go, at least try to book in one of the smaller rooms.

13/06/2025: Food was excellent. A particular favourite was the pasta with octopus ragu. Food takes a while to come, but everything was delicious.

09/06/2025: Birthday party organized for my 50th birthday. Everything was fantastic!! Upon arrival, outdoor aperitifs, from prosecco to non-alcoholic aperitifs, etc. and a truly spectacular buffet table with double-cooked octopus, health cakes, fried fish and more. Once we were seated inside, the actual lunch began. 2 first courses (I highly recommend the paella, really delicious as well as beautiful to look at), sorbet and 2 second courses, cocktail, dessert and coffee. I really wanted to congratulate you because it was a great success with our guests (being partly Neapolitan, they said they smelled the sea in addition to the excessive quantity for each course). 11/06/2025: We arrived around 3 pm and unfortunately the kitchens were already closed. We asked if it was possible to have at least some sandwiches, which however turned out to be rather modest both in quantity and presentation. The place is undoubtedly suggestive and the location is worth a visit, but we expected something more about the service, especially considering the context. We hope for an improvement, because the potential is there.

28/05/2025: A lovely place just slightly down the main road from Lazise. We had parked centrally in Lazise, and the walk wasn't the most elegant... There is a smallish car park at the front that I wish I'd realised! Worth knowing! Popped in with the kids on a Tuesday evening for a little bit of dessert. Lots of choice on the menu. Had the crepes "Greta" - caramelised apple, creme patisserie and vanilla ice-cream. Delicious. The waitress was very friendly and spoke excellent English. Would recommend.

All the dishes were delicious, but what struck us the most was the service: a pampering from the beginning to the end of the lunch, absolutely beyond all expectations. 01/06/2025: An absolutely incredible experience. A place created from an old farmhouse and renovated respecting the soul of the structure. Large green spaces with scented flowers welcome you at the entrance and deliver you into the expert hands of the staff of the Ristorante Famiglia Rana who will pamper you with kindness and professionalism for the entire duration of the experience. Because it is not a normal meal but a surprising journey into the past memories and future dreams of chef Sodano. The chef offers three courses, one with his most 'signature' dishes, one with more experimental dishes and one vegetal. We chose the experimental menu (,"The Doors") and it left us speechless. Of the 10 courses I did not find one that was not excellent. In my opinion Famiglia Rana has done a huge amount of research and preparation, with the result of a restaurant that is more than a gem, it is a milestone of Italian cuisine. Truly compliments to the chef and all his staff, we can't wait to go back!

30/05/2025: Ogni volta che passiamo da Verona, "al Pompiere " è per noi una tappa d'obbligo.Il ristorante si trova a due passi da piazza delle Erbe ma in una viuzza latrerale non percorsa dalle fiumane di turisti che riempiono la città in qualsiasi stagione dell'anno. All'interno l'atmosfera è calda e accogliente, in qualsiasi periodo dell'anno. Il personale attento e gentilissimo, i tempi d'attesa non eccessivi anche quando il locale è pieno. Questa sera abbiamo scelto un antipasto di asparagi bianchi e verdi con frittatina, una crema di piselli con taccole a dir poco favolosa e un piatto di gnocchi con finferli. Quindi siamo passati direttamente al dessert e abbiamo preso un semifreddo all'amaretto su zabaione al Vinsanto e polvere di caffè, anche questa superlativa. Complimenti allo chef per tutto, con un piccolo appunto agli gnocchi dove l'eccesso di burro copriva quasi del tutto il sapore dei finferli. A parte questo, il ristorante "al Pompiere" si rivela sempre un'ottima scelta. Prezzi piuttosto sostenuti ma in linea con la qualità.

07/06/2025: We sat down and were told we only have an hour to eat, then the waitress didn't take our order for about 30 minutes. There were people who sat down after us and were served and we just sat there being ignored so we got up and left without ordering. Also, prices were quite high.

06/06/2025: I love Elk Bakery for its high quality! The products are fresh, delicious and made with genuine ingredients. The bread is crunchy and tasty, the desserts are unique and irresistible. Hummus, avocado toast and fennel side dish, all delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is friendly. I highly recommend trying a substantial lunch/dinner from them. Great for breakfast too! Excellent choice for those looking for healthy and high quality cuisine

08/06/2025: What a SHOW! I didn't know the place, but from the moment I booked (for 5 p,), I understood that they had something extra. Excellent service, beautiful spacious place, adequate price, dishes made well, almost splendid! Great, as ideas and service. If you want to eat well (and a lot) without taking out a mortgage, go to this place; you definitely won't regret it. Five Stars.

05/06/2025: En wow-oplevelse da vi kom ind da det ikke syner af meget, set ude fra. Personalet er meget serviceminded og smilende. Gode priser og store portioner. Jeg smagte desværre ikke deres Cabonára, men den blev positivt omtalt resten af turen.
