15/05/2026: Our recent short stay in the wonderful city of Verona, brought us across this hidden gem of a eatery. Based just outside the old town, down a side street, our group of three popped our heads in to find a buzzing place, packed to the rafters with the click, clack and resonating chatter of happy customers. The accommodating staff found us a table in the outdoor enclosed cosy courtyard, brightly lit with a warm atmosphere. Great choice of local regional dishes along with usual Italian fare. Service and food excellent, no rush or push and prices very reasonable. Looked and felt like a locals favourite place. Wonderful experience.

23/03/2026: Located in a district above Badia Calavena, this restaurant is very basic inside but has a lovely outdoor terrace for summer. The menu is completely different from what you might expect. High-quality, refined, with carefully crafted dishes from appetizer to dessert. Everything is delicious. Excellent value for money. Good service.

19/05/2026: A nice and welcoming place with meat specialties. We had good meat with side dishes, and the desserts were also good. All the staff were friendly and professional. Prices were moderately high. Definitely worth returning.

16/05/2026: We ate on the terrace from the à la carte menu. The food was excellent and plentiful. I ordered roast beef for a main course, which was incredibly generous. The waiters were friendly. The restaurant is dog-friendly.

13/05/2026: Locanda Ristori is simply perfect. The friendly and knowledgeable staff provided excellent local food recommendations. The dishes were of excellent quality, and the Locanda's wine paired perfectly. Highly recommended, also for its excellent value.

22/12/2025: I visited because of its high rating. It's delicious and friendly. Best of all, there's a bathroom inside. You have to take your key down to the basement.

30/09/2025: This restaurant is a hidden gem. The biggest problem is what to choose, as it all looks delicious. We started by sharing the chitarra with mini meatballs, topped with freshly grated pecorino. This was followed by two arrosticini, just to try them. The mains of roast leg of lamb and the mutton tagliata were so tender. Everything was delicious. We drank a Montepulciano riserva, which complemented the meat perfectly. The staff also spoke English, so we did not have to struggle with our limited Italian. They also have English menus. Thank you for a lovely meal.

12/05/2026: The gelato here is so good and high quality that I don’t feel guilty when I get my double scoop. They have a gorgeous selection of dairy free options (no soy) that keeps me coming back again and again. We are such fans that my baby boy just had his very first scoop here!

10/05/2026: On Saturday 9th I discovered this place for an invitation to a birthday party. I would say it was a real local surprise in a beautiful location surrounded by nature. The restaurant has a beautiful room, the food is excellent from the starter to the dessert, the staff is kind and fast... I will definitely be back to try it +++

06/04/2026: We ended up here on the recommendation of our hotel. It was a great tip. The pizzas were very good and not expensive. The salad was also large and beautifully presented. I can wholeheartedly recommend it!

01/04/2026: We ordered three pizzas for four people and two desserts for the kids. We waited about 15 minutes for the food. The pizzas were delicious. We loved everything.

10/04/2026: After a lovely hike in the Roncà hills, before heading home, we stopped at this trattoria. The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, despite it being a very busy weekday. We ate delicious first courses (fettuccine with asparagus and peas, rabbit and porcini mushrooms, and abigoli with duck). The second courses were equally excellent and plentiful: the Vicenza-style cod, lamb chops with polenta, accompanied by delicious wild chicory and baked potatoes. The desserts were also good. The only dish we weren't entirely satisfied with was the charcuterie board, which was sparse and the quality of the product didn't live up to the traditional cured meats of Lessinia. The coffee wasn't very good either, probably because it was roasted incorrectly. Overall, the quality/price ratio was acceptable. Quality
