26/02/2026: I just left the pizzeria. I ordered a marinara pizza with capers and was brought a pizza with no toppings and just tomato sauce. I wanted to ask the waitress why, but I was upstairs, we were alone, and we couldn't call anyone except downstairs. Only after ten minutes did a waitress finally come and I reported the incident. Her response: "I said it downstairs." She never came back. When I finished, I went downstairs to pay and asked what had happened. The owner's response: "I was ordered a marinara-only pizza (which wasn't on the menu). Now, I would have expected her to call the waitress and apologize, but she didn't show up. At the counter, the owner didn't call her and told me she made a mistake and I can't stone her because she was new to the job. I would have expected an apology from her and would have understood, but I don't blame her, but rather the owner's arrogant response, who defended her and, in his opinion, fixed everything with a small discount. Conclusion: Poor service and an arrogant owner. My opinion: I strongly advise against this pizzeria, and be sure to check that your order is respected because there's little oversight in the dining room, and if you complain, the owner doesn't care. I feel sorry for the other waitresses, who were certainly better trained, but who, in the end, will all be affected and unfairly judged. 22/11/2025: Pleasant experience. We had lunch here with family. The atmosphere is informal, the service attentive. The bigoli are carefully prepared and delicious. A tip: the torta delle rose would definitely be more enjoyable if slightly warmed and served with cream. Recommended.

29/12/2025: Best spaghetti eis I've ever eaten. I also like the place overall, even though it's been like this for years. (This refers to the place until March 2020; then the management changed, but I haven't been there enough yet; anyway, spaghetti eis is more or less the same as under the previous management, with good and fairly generous appetizers.) Update December 2025: The new management has been in place for years now, and I find it good. Spaghetti eis is always very good, and the staff are friendly and make you feel right at home. The place has obviously changed a bit in the meantime.

08/02/2026: We stopped at this restaurant almost by chance, and I can confidently say that the excellent reviews I've read previously are entirely accurate. The location is splendid, with meticulous attention to every detail and a truly pleasant atmosphere. The service was impeccable, from the moment we greeted us until the end of the meal: the staff were attentive, friendly, and professional. The quality of the ingredients was also excellent, clearly evident in every dish. I will definitely return if I have the opportunity to return to this area.

25/01/2026: I went for lunch with a group of twenty. Everything was delicious, from appetizers to dessert. The Amarone risotto was excellent, as were the main courses: thin and flavorful steak, perfectly cooked to medium rare, and perfectly cooked chicken. Everything was delicious, and I could have asked for seconds. The wait staff was helpful and impeccable. The rustic atmosphere was appreciated. Highly recommended.

01/03/2026: I feel it's important to highlight an issue that deserves further attention. After ordering side dishes, using the single-serving sauces available at the table, we noticed an unusual aftertaste in the condiments. Upon checking the packaging, we discovered that the ketchup had expired; some packets even had an expiration date of 2025. We immediately informed the wait staff, who removed only some of the packets from the table, leaving the rest. The fries already covered with sauce were not replaced, and we received no explanation or apology for the incident. Beyond the incident itself, it's important to emphasize that serving expired products can pose health risks: a more sensitive person or someone with certain conditions could even feel unwell. For this reason, checking expiration dates should never be overlooked, especially when dealing with foods intended for immediate consumption. More scrupulous attention to detail would avoid unpleasant situations that, in other cases, could lead to more formal disputes. We are reporting this incident in a constructive spirit, trusting that it is an isolated incident, and hoping for a tangible improvement in oversight and customer service.

17/03/2026: I discovered this place by chance, staying two nights in Malcesine, where very few restaurants were open in the low season. Excellent food at reasonable prices. A free glass of prosecco before your order arrived. Delicious pizza, as well as other seafood dishes and more. Try it!

30/09/2025: This restaurant is a hidden gem. The biggest problem is what to choose, as it all looks delicious. We started by sharing the chitarra with mini meatballs, topped with freshly grated pecorino. This was followed by two arrosticini, just to try them. The mains of roast leg of lamb and the mutton tagliata were so tender. Everything was delicious. We drank a Montepulciano riserva, which complemented the meat perfectly. The staff also spoke English, so we did not have to struggle with our limited Italian. They also have English menus. Thank you for a lovely meal.
