21/04/2026: We usually go to this restaurant once or twice a year. The service is always quite cold, not particularly friendly. But the food is okay. This past week, after Easter, we went again and wanted to change a dish for our daughter. We were rudely refused; they said changes to the dishes weren't possible... end of story. That was outrageous; we'll never go there again. Maybe they're serving ready-made meals that are just heated up in a machine... who knows.

09/04/2026: Local eatery with a nice atmosphere. Few tables, so come early. Friendly and attentive service. Local food, good selection of wine. Homemade pasta. We have eaten in many places in Malcesine over the years, but think this is the best restaurant in Malcesine.

22/05/2026: We had lunch at the Italia da Bruno restaurant in Verna and had a great time. The service was courteous and attentive, and the atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed. We tried both the fish and pizza, and found everything to be delicious and well-prepared. A wonderful experience, with tasty dishes and a warm welcome that made us feel at ease. Recommended!

22/05/2026: I'd already been there for lunch last year. Now they no longer offer a business lunch, but they do offer a very interesting option. You order a dish from the menu and you can access the free self-service vegetable bar, plus you don't even have to pay for water. Like last year, I ordered a fried food to share and a tiramisu. Everything was good and plentiful. The service is always top-notch, and the price is very fair. I've attached a photo.

27/05/2026: The care taken with the ingredients from the very beginning is evident in every single dish. We had a large table, and everyone enjoyed the impeccable cuisine. We highly recommend the mozzarella in carrozza, the bigoli with farmyard ragù, the rabbit with polenta, and, to top it off, the chocolate salami. 😋

16/05/2026: Once again, this trattoria proves to be a place where you can find traditional dishes, simple yet truly delicious. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a very welcome glass of prosecco, a gesture that immediately shows the attention paid to the customer. The service is one of its strong points: friendly, genuine, and able to make you feel at home. The restaurant is spread across a single room, but this creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a pleasant, relaxing evening. A truly enjoyable dinner, the quality confirmed once again. I will definitely be back.

13/04/2026: A guesthouse with a special charm: no hyper-modern furnishings, but lovingly decorated rooms with playful decor. From old pictures and colorful walls to charmingly decorated teddy bears. The owner is exceptionally friendly (even though she doesn't speak English), and the breakfast is extensive and very good. We felt very comfortable here and would love to come back.

12/06/2026: Very centrally located and specializing in meatballs! For aperitifs, we had spritz and meatballs, which were truly excellent, especially the arancini with sausage. The service was good and the location very convenient. Recommended for a good aperitif.

20/04/2026: It's rare to return to the same restaurant two days in a row, but Il Bacaro enchanted us. We found top-notch cuisine (excellent food!) in an extremely clean and well-kept environment. The difference, however, is in the people: the owner is extremely kind and the entire team is exceptionally courteous. A perfect experience that I recommend to anyone seeking quality and warmth in Verona.

27/04/2026: ...An experience not to be repeated...very poor food, endless waits, and very Rude staff! The owner shamefully scolded the staff in front of us customers...as a business owner myself, I feel they know exactly how to lose a customer!

19/04/2026: A Veronese osteria recommended to us by local friends. And deservedly so! A lovely traditional menu with dishes to enjoy. I had Bigoli al Musso and Baccalà alla Vicentina, both very good. Absolutely fair prices! Highly recommended.

09/05/2026: Beautiful place, they have a terrace that, as the name suggests, has lovely fresh air. It's located on top of one of the hills of Custoza, so you can see all the surrounding hills from the terrace and Lake Garda in the distance. The menu is small but tasty, and seasonally they offer menus based on local products. The staff is always very kind and helpful. Highly recommended for a bit of relaxation, as it's often frequented by quiet people and families (the well-mannered ones ;-)).

06/06/2026: We couldn't have made a better choice. Daniela listened and fulfilled all our requests right from the start; that's simply her job: organizing weddings. The wedding day went perfectly, largely thanks to her, her patience, and her professionalism: from the civil ceremony on site in front of the fountain to the evening party on the park's trail, every moment was perfect and taken care of down to the smallest detail. The quality of the food and wine was excellent, and every member of the staff did their part to ensure everything was perfect. Everything was just how we always wanted it. 15/05/2026: Absolutely outstanding across the board. The service (we were late for our reservation and half an hour before the kitchen was closing and they still sat us without even a question). The food was out of this world. Best meal we've had in a long time and we used to live in Chicago, a food city. The service was above and beyond. They add extra touches to the meal that you don't order off the menu that round out the whole meal. The first dish is a salty shredded pork, never had anything like it. We didn't order dessert but they brought us a little something anyway. The wine recommendations were spot on and the waitresses food recommendations were delicious. The mashed potatoes and gnocchi I will dream about. Must try. We might even go back again tonight.

From the very beginning, you could sense great attention to detail and a genuine passion for cooking. The dishes were simply fantastic: not only delicious, but also elegantly and carefully presented, without ever being overbearing. Each course was a perfect balance of flavor, quality ingredients, and creativity, capable of surprising and satisfying. The wines deserve a special mention: we relied on their advice, and it was absolutely worth it. The pairings were sublime, expertly and sensitively crafted, and perfectly complemented each dish. Thanks to them, we also discovered Barolo Chimato from the Pio Cesare winery, a truly formidable wine that made the dinner even more special. The service was impeccable: attentive, professional, and at the same time warm, making guests feel at ease without ever being intrusive. The passion and dedication of the entire staff is clearly evident, contributing to the welcoming and refined atmosphere. In conclusion, it was a unique experience in every way: the quality of the food, the pairings, the service, and the atmosphere. A restaurant truly worth trying and one we recommend without hesitation. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!
