03/10/2023: Many restaurants in central Verona are an insult to Italian cuisine, as the old city has become overwhelmed with tourists. This one, just about 200m the ‘wrong side’ of p. dei signori, is an exception. The food was outstanding, service impeccable. Not cheap but better value than many. We went a second time a couple of days after our first visit, and were not disappointed. The menu is less extensive than some (no fish of any kind when we went, for example, and a choice of only about 8 or 10 for each of primo and secondi) but all was extremely good. Outside seating is in a very attractive and reasonably private small square

28/08/2024: Our 5 stars go to Teresa and her authenticity. He welcomed us and treated us very well, with attention and care towards our needs and those of our 3 children. We decided to stay here one night to break up the journey between Lake Como and South Tyrol. We were unable to use the restaurant because it is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays but we were pleasantly redirected to the Trattoria la Torre 200 meters away, still managed by the same owners of the inn. Simple breakfast but with fresh products and a wide choice of homemade cakes. The 9 rooms, as well as the restaurant and the 2 apartments, were created from an old oil mill from the 1700s. Our quadruple room, FAVAROL, is the perfect size for the spaces that a family of 5 requires. It has 2 double beds and plenty of space to turn around even with open luggage. What can I say, highly recommended!
18/08/2024: Really friendly, a real family vibe. The rooms are clean and pleasant, the surrounding hills are picturesque. Therese is so warm and hospitable. I really loved this place. The restaurant was good, but there aren’t many vegetarian options.

17/08/2024: Cute little pizzeria. The pizzas are super tasty and the dough (edge) is fluffy. The tiramisu is also very tasty. We enjoyed it so much that we made another reservation for tomorrow. Absolute recommendation!

23/08/2024: I had an outstanding experience at this restaurant. As a pizza enthusiast, I truly appreciate a well-crafted pizza, with the Neapolitan style being my favorite (though I can also enjoy a good New York slice). Naturally, I started with the small Bufala pizza to set a benchmark. It was unlike any pizza I've had before. The crust was partly wholegrain, maintaining the same thickness throughout, yet it was light and airy. The tomato sauce was intensely flavorful, with a perfect balance of acidity and sweetness, and the mozzarella di bufala was of excellent quality, its distinctive buffalo milk taste clearly discernible. Next, I tried the polenta and codfish pizza, which surprised me with its presentation. The codfish and polenta had been processed into a creamy paste, which paired remarkably well with the sesame crust. While this pizza wasn’t my personal favorite due to the strong fishy taste, this is more a matter of personal preference than a reflection of the dish's quality. The highlight of the meal was the horse tartare pizza. Having never tried horse meat before, I was eager to experience it, and it did not disappoint. The horse tartare was tender, juicy, and slightly reminiscent of beef tartare, but with a subtle sweetness. Texturally, this pizza was the most intriguing of the three, with the crispy and airy wholegrain crust harmonizing beautifully with the tender horse tartare. One aspect that stood out was the meticulous attention to temperature. The pizzas never arrived piping hot but were served at the perfect temperature, ready to eat immediately without any waiting. This careful control of temperature extended to the dessert as well—the sorbet was served in a cooled ceramic bowl, which helped maintain its consistency over a longer period of time. If you’re looking for a typical pizza that adheres to traditional norms, this place might surprise you. However, if you’re open to a well-thought-out, pizza-inspired fine dining experience, this is a must-visit if you're in the area.
20/08/2024: I haven't eaten flours and cereals for 10 years, except on very rare occasions and this is one. In summary: fantastic pizza, the proposals are each more intriguing than the other. Different doughs for each type of pizza. I tried the pigeon one... amazing! Cereal dough: the use of sourdough and high quality ingredients did not lead me to have any negative effects, an indicator of quality. The service is quick, informal but attentive. The girl who served us added a bit of a personal touch to the service: I underline this because I have read negative comments about the service which were not reflected in my experience. The pizzas are offered in two sizes: small and large. The 4 of us opted for 4 small pizzas, we struggled to get to the bottom. Price more than adequate for the quality of what we ate. We will definitely be back!!!

28/07/2024: This was our first meal in Peschiera del garda and we had bad experience. We lived near by and this restaurant seemed good on good map. We are a family of five and after we waited for 30 mins we got one dish which is a pizza for one person. We understand it was rush hour so we waited patiently. After the first dish was served we waited another 40 mins for the rest of the dishes( not everything) , at this point one of our families already finished his meal so he could only waited us for about 50mins for our food to be served . Meanwhile when I checked the tables around, even people came after us got their meals. We asked the server , and the only answer we got was it not his problem, it’s kitchen’s problem . The food was mid, you can get the same or even better taste anywhere . When we went to pay another server talked to us and showed sorry , asked us if we would like some drinks on the house, that was really sweet but two of our families already went home and we were also not in the mood anymore. I never left bad reviews on restaurants, I understand how busy rush hours can be because i also been a server in Europe during summer break. But the first server we got , didn’t care our experience at all( is it because our race? Our skin color? We will never know) Appreciate the server in the end that try to fix our experience, he is a kind guy.

13/07/2024: Visited in July 2024. We could see what the kitchen was trying to do with the tasting menu, however there were gaps in the execution. Understand they earned 1 Michelin star, however we did not see the excellence that we expected come through in the dishes or ambience. Service staff was excellent. Items worth noting the restaurant was incredibly warm and the windows opened inviting flying ants in the dishes. The dishes were incredibly heavy handed with sauces overshadowing the assumed intention of the dishes. Left feeling heavy and overfull but unsatisfied with the expense and value. The wine pairing was lovely as was the sommelier and maitre d.

28/04/2024: Prima volta in questo agriturismo,nelle campagne di Gazzo veronese. Bella location,curata e pulita. Menù a tema,oggi pesce d'acqua dolce. Luccio Pessin e saltarei come antipasto, Poi due eccellenti risotti,uno all'onda col pesce spolpa',e uno alla mantovana coi saltarei. Poi anguilla e pescegatto fritti,buonissimi, Non unti,belli secchi ma con tanta ottima polpa,accompagnati da una buona insalata mista. Ottimo il dolce. Bella esperienza,complimenti
