Meals like this are rare. The kind where you slow down, savor every bite, and leave already thinking about when you can come back. Truly exceptional.

30/12/2025: A traditional stone and wood restaurant overlooking the valley. We dined there during the Christmas holidays; the snow-covered landscape is like a fairytale. Excellent food, a very welcoming location. Impeccable yet no-frills service, typical of mountain restaurants. Excellent value.

08/03/2026: Beautiful restaurant with quite high prices and medium quality food. We literally paid 18€ for a dish of 2 raw carrots with mustard, wow. This place is just about the fancy of it.

27/02/2026: This restaurant, just steps from Aosta's historic center, is famous for its enormous and delicious cotoletta (breaded veal cutlet). The staff is very friendly and helpful. I recommend booking because the restaurant is always busy.

28/12/2025: We found this place by chance, and it was truly a wonderful discovery. The waiters were attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming and typical of the mountains. Everything was excellent, especially the gnocchi with fondue. The owner was super friendly!

28/12/2025: Simply fabulous, the Valdostan fondue was excellent. Recommended, equally excellent wine from the valley. Very friendly service, they welcomed us at 3:30 PM. Not to be missed.

15/02/2026: I went with my boyfriend to the company bar. The two guys who worked there today didn't seem particularly bright. I ordered a vegetarian focaccia and asked for fries on the side (which I would have paid for, obviously). One of the guys asked me if I liked caramelized onions and gorgonzola, and I said yes. Result: the focaccia wasn't really focaccia, but bread. Not a hint of gorgonzola or caramelized onions, but a slice of lettuce, cheese, and a lot of Taggiasca olives, and no fries at all. My boyfriend ordered a hamburger, and in his opinion, the meat was sour and undercooked. A real shame, since I know the restaurant well, having gone there often with my family, and the food has always been good.

09/02/2026: The stars available are too few for this splendid lodge, immersed in a spectacular natural setting. The food is excellent; the chef's skill and passion shine through on the plate. Gourmet dishes with an eye to mountain tradition. The service is prompt, courteous, and extremely helpful. A wonderful experience, one we will repeat, and one I encourage everyone seeking a beautiful, romantic evening and excellent food to try.

15/03/2026: It's very rare for me to give a place 5 stars, but I have to say that based on my experience, this one deserves it. A modern and clean two-story venue located in a truly privileged urban setting: right in the historic center, yet tucked away in a small square hidden away from the tourist hubbub, with beautifully restored and well-maintained Roman ruins opposite. I've only been there a few times, I admit, but each time I've found the young staff to be very courteous. Food: Well, considering the menu, which is almost exclusively limited to burgers, I'd say excellent. Beer: This is their forte. Many excellent craft beers, with knowledgeable staff to explain and advise. Prices: Well, it's not cheap, but it's acceptable. Definitely worth returning to.

17/09/2025: Four nights with my family, spent admiring the view from the excellent breakfast, continuing upon our return in the late afternoon to relax in the spotless and welcoming room overlooking the meticulously maintained garden. We finished with dinners at the hotel restaurant, sampling traditional and non-traditional dishes that left us speechless and with a smile on our faces. In short, we thoroughly enjoyed four days with the very friendly, helpful, and professional staff and management, and the cuisine was top-notch. Definitely a place to stay in the upper Aosta Valley, highly recommended and definitely worth returning to.

14/02/2026: What can I say... super good pizza! 😍 The food at Pizzeria La Capricciosa in Donnas is truly delicious: light dough and super fresh ingredients. You can really taste the quality! The place is welcoming and the staff is incredibly friendly, they make you feel right at home. Fast service and fair prices. I'll definitely be back, highly recommended! 🍕✨
