03/03/2025: I tried Kiuva for the first time for a family lunch. We all chose a tasting menu and we all enjoyed it; excellent and plentiful dishes. The place is rustic but well-kept, and the staff are friendly. I went back later for a couple's snack and what can I say, that time too it was a good experience (I also want to specify that I'm not a fan of giardiniera but the one served by la Kiuva is homemade and I appreciated it, you could feel the freshness of the ingredients). Lastly, the prices are honest for the freshness and quantity served. Connected to the restaurant, there is a small shop where you can find many local specialties. I took the opportunity to have two Christmas baskets prepared, which were really appreciated.

18/03/2025: Simply unique, with a breathtaking view that ranges from Mont Blanc to the Couis di Pila peaks. Wide selection of local dishes and very friendly staff. The outdoor terrace is fantastic! Final treat, it can also be reached for dinner with the snowcat.

23/03/2025: We were there on a Saturday for lunch, excellent welcome both upon arrival and during, delicious and plentiful food of superior quality, it's just a shame that we weren't too fit due to personal problems but I definitely recommend it!

18/03/2025: Nice restaurant that may look a bit rough from the outside but with great food and good wines. Friendly service, large portions, local Ayas Valley style courses. Well worth the hike from Champoluc.

06/03/2025: Small but nice pizzeria! We had dinner here with the family and had a great time! The pizzas are excellent, with good ingredients. I found some delicious pitted Taggiasca olives that I love! Light and digestible dough. Prices are fair for the quality of food, friendly and courteous staff! We will return on our next holiday to Saint Vincent!

16/03/2025: We found an excellent welcome waiting for us at the Hotel Vagneur. The managers were extremely kind and flexible in meeting our needs and for this we thank them. The rooms are simple, but very welcoming and quiet and guarantee optimal rest. The dinner was a culinary experience that will be difficult to forget, and from the dishes and their explanation all the passion that the managers have for their cuisine and for their hotel shines through. It was a beautiful discovery, a rare pearl where you can disconnect everything and reconnect.

05/02/2025: A small mountain hotel from times gone by, where you can eat very well at a fair price. Getting there is a bit of a "bump" but it's worth it. The rooms are also comfortable

15/03/2025: Interesting special restaurant and different from all the others in the valley. Refined menu but within everyone's reach, literally spectacular dishes with studied and super interesting combinations even if sometimes unusual. The waiters make you feel at home and are very attentive to service. The "Selvaggio" tasting menu was an exciting journey and you can see that the chef loves what he does and tries to convey all his passion, succeeding fully. The menu is seasonal, so I won't list all the dishes because they could be different tomorrow. Certainly what impressed me the most was the celery sorbet, with fresh sweetened celery. The pigeon is definitely the best dish.

13/03/2025: Fantastic place with tasting menu in Courmayeur. Family run spot and they have so much passion for their restaurant. Excellent service.

18/02/2025: A beautiful refuge that can only be reached on foot. Don't be scared by the previous sentence, the route is very simple (also suitable for children) and lasts no more than 35 minutes. Once you arrive you can admire a breathtaking landscape that, given the small effort to reach it, is really worth it. The refuge has set up the outside area with wooden tables and many deckchairs to sunbathe on the nicest days. There is a kitchen there that offers a few but very good products: - platters of local cured meats - their mountain cheeses - Valdostan polenta - bar and cafe The quality is really very high, plus everything is made by them so I recommend arriving hungry!

31/01/2025: We were deeply impressed by the quality of the products and the passion that distinguishes the staff. Their cured meats and cheeses are a true celebration of traditional Aosta Valley flavors, made with care using their raw materials that we were able to observe up close. In particular, lardo, cotechino and Gran Gessato cheese are extraordinary. A commendation also goes to the online shop's customer service which proved helpful, reflecting the commitment of all the staff. 100% recommended!

08/02/2025: Appena varchi la soglia di questo ristorante, vieni avvolto da un’atmosfera calda ed elegante che lascia senza fiato. La sala è semplicemente splendida, con il camino acceso e la luce soffusa delle candele che creano un’atmosfera intima e accogliente. La cena è stata un’esperienza straordinaria. Lo Chef Alessandro e il suo team dimostrano un talento eccezionale, curando ogni dettaglio con passione e maestria. Fin dall’inizio, il pane, i grissini e la focaccia – serviti con un burro montato leggero come una nuvola e un olio di qualità eccellente – fanno capire che il viaggio gastronomico sarà memorabile. Il carciofo alla giudea è un capolavoro: croccante all’esterno, tenero e saporito all’interno. I ravioli al baccalà sono raffinati ed equilibrati nei sapori, mentre gli gnocchi conquistano con la loro morbidezza e gusto avvolgente. E poi i dolci… vere opere d’arte, che incantano sia la vista che il palato. Consiglio a tutti di vivere l’esperienza della cucina di Alessandro e del suo staff: un vero trionfo di gusto e raffinatezza!
