09/04/2026: My partner and I stayed at the property for one night and we confirm what previous reviews have said: very helpful owners and a family atmosphere... although it might seem unnecessary to say: the location and view from the room are stunning amidst the mountains and the greenery of the valley. We'll be back 🏞️
22/03/2026: Located in a beautiful spot, the village of Vens above Saint Nicolas. The property offers fully equipped rooms, the option of dining on site thanks to the on-site restaurant (excellent food), and a rustic, welcoming, and quiet setting, ideal for relaxation and, above all, for hiking, as there are several trails not far from the restaurant.
The owner is helpful and extremely kind.
Absolutely delighted with this stay and, above all, with the breathtaking view.

16/02/2026: Very cute, warm, and welcoming place! The staff was friendly and helpful.
We had tagliatelle with artichokes and pecorino romano, pappardelle with venison ragù, and beef carpaccio with fondue and pears.
The pasta is all homemade. Everything was delicious!
The bill was reasonable. Highly recommended.

Staying at this hotel in Saint Nicolas (Valle d’Aosta) feels like stepping back in time — in the best possible way. The rustic decor is charming and authentic, and the views from the room are stunning: we’re at the edge of spring, yet the mountain peaks are still blanketed in snow.
What really sets this place apart is the owner. Warm, genuine, and completely unhurried — he embodies the spirit of the hotel. Dinner at the restaurant is an experience in itself: no printed menu, just whatever is fresh and available that day, paired with a personal guided tour through the wine selection. Breakfast follows the same philosophy — he simply brings you a little of what he has and asks if you would like something else.
This is not a place for those seeking a standardized hotel experience. It’s for people who want to slow down and reconnect with a more authentic, unhurried way of life. Highly recommended.
25/03/2026: I often stay here for work and hope to return soon for a vacation to fully enjoy the property.
Located in a hilly area, it offers an enviable view of the Alps. The property has been renovated with several amenities, yet it offers absolutely no shortage of comforts.
It's clean and tidy, with very comfortable beds and excellent value for money.
The friendly and courteous staff certainly draws its strength from the owner,
a man of great standing
and culture who makes your stay even more enjoyable.
The breakfast is good, with a very generous buffet,
and the restaurant offers a decent variety of dishes,
from typical Aosta Valley dishes to more.
Highly recommended for those like me looking for a well-deserved break,
or for those on vacation to enjoy the beauty of the area.

Qualche salume e della polenta Il personale e la proprietaria non sono accoglienti
22/09/2024: Persone gentilissime, locale pulitissimo ed il posto è perfetto per chi ama la pace assoluta e vuol fare escursioni. I cellulari non prendono ma c'è il wifi.
La Strada è un po' impegnativa.

09/08/2023: La strada per arrivare in questo locale sale fino a 1460 metri snodandosi attraverso vasti prati verdeggianti. Accoglienza molto cordiale e garbata. Cibo ottimo. Locale rustico e autentico: bello sia all'interno, sia all'esterno. Consigliato!
24/07/2023: comodo parcheggio a lato strada, ottima crepe valdostana, prelibata. Posticino intimo. Meglio prenotare.
