12/04/2026: A simply extraordinary experience! The location is enchanting, meticulously cared for down to the smallest detail, and immersed in a dreamlike setting, within what can unquestionably be called the most beautiful village in Italy.
The welcome was impeccable: friendliness, professionalism, and customer care are evident from the first moment. The service is top-notch, elegant, and precise, making every guest feel special.
The restaurant is truly top-notch: excellent dishes, quality ingredients, and refined flavors that enhance tradition with a touch of class. Each course is a unique experience for the palate.
A special thanks goes to chef Michelle, the true jewel in the crown of the property. Her expertise, passion, and kindness make the stay even more exclusive and unforgettable.
Highly recommended for those seeking excellence, beauty, and unparalleled hospitality. I will definitely be back!
11/04/2026: Beautiful chalet village with parking and a small playground for barbecues or children. The cottage's furnishings are gorgeous, warm, and welcoming. The woody scent is wonderful.
Excellent location for visiting Aosta and the surrounding area, very close to the highway exit without having to navigate difficult mountain roads.

21/01/2026: Spacious room and spectacular panoramic view. Very kind owners, dinner and breakfast were all very good.
18/01/2026: Simply a fantastic experience! The restaurant is located at 1,480 meters, with a warm, characteristic mountain interior. The staff is truly friendly and makes you feel right at home, in a familiar and welcoming atmosphere.
The food is incredible: everything is delicious, homemade with excellent quality ingredients. The portions are generous and the prices are absolutely fair.
The fondue gnocchi are truly magical, while the polenta with meats is breathtaking.
All this is accompanied by a wonderful view of Mont Blanc, which makes the experience even more special.
It's not a tourist restaurant. Here, the cuisine is authentic local!
I highly recommend it, I'll definitely be back!

Petit Gourmet Restaurant Cafe

05/04/2026: A classy restaurant with extremely kind staff attentive to the customer's needs, even when, as in my case, they are arrogant and rude. The waiter ordered the wrong bottle, and instead of serving the Pinot Noir I'd requested, he served another: the same grape variety but significantly lower in price and quality. I should have pointed this out immediately, but realizing it only too late, with the bottle almost finished, the waiters deserved respect and indulgence. Instead, believing the hero was a volunteer, I got upset and behaved in an unspeakable manner. I also complained about the overcooked meat, but again, it was too late. Despite this, they removed the cost of the dish from the bill. What more can I say? I apologize and wish the very kind staff at this restaurant the best of luck. I'm sorry if I offended you, and I hope to return to your establishment to apologize in person.

12/01/2026: Special mention for the service, which is truly five-star, friendly and unobtrusive, and for the truly incredible view. Excellent cuisine with well-executed dishes. The cutlet and pappardelle with game ragù are especially good. The baba and tiramisu are also excellent.

13/03/2026: A very discreet and charming location, the boss is very knowledgeable about traditional dishes. We paired them with a sparkling white wine, perhaps not quite right, but very good. Impeccable service.
18/02/2026: We had a raclette for 3. (It was on the "Fondue" page, but was 'proper' raclette with the bar heaters to melt it). Washed down brilliantly by a very nice local white wine (petite arvine 2024). Cost was per the menu, no hidden extras, like one popular old review noted. If I was being picky, i'd take half a star off for no kids menu as we wasted a fair bit of food getting an adults raclette for our cheese fueled 10 year old, but the meats and potatoes with the raclette were excellent compared to most raclette places.
We'll be going back for desert another night sans raclette feast. The pear and chocolate pie looks divine!

They offer good daily menus with a first course, second course, water, and coffee for €12.
You have a choice of three first courses and three second courses.
The quality is good, and the price is certainly fair and reasonable.
Friendly, fast, and very helpful staff.
Affordable atmosphere.
Easy parking.
08/10/2025: Only 1 of 3 employees greeted me, these two girls make a bad impression on the place, a nice place, a large plate of pasta with meat sauce, coke on tap, coffee and water for €7, just feel sorry for the staff, I do the same job as them and even if you are not professional, at least you have to be kind!

25/06/2025: Presi dalla voglia di pizza e trovandoci in un piccolo paese di montagna come La Salle abbiamo utilizzato i nostri sensi gastronomici.
La Macina é una piccola realtà locale, molto semplice nella sua presentazione, ma piena di sostanza. Dalla gentilezza del personale, che ci ha fatto sentire speciali con le loro attenzioni, alla bontà della pizza, piacevole al palato e digeribile. Se mai dovessimo ricapitare tra queste montagne non esiteremo a tornare per dare un morso alla pizza de La Macina.

29/03/2025: Una presenza costante , ci ha seguito passo passo nel ns percorso culinario, Adalberto detto Mauro cameriere di sala e "di colonna" ( perché una colonna era vicino al nostro tavolo adiacente a una panoramica vetrata) perfetto nel suo ruolo. Ottimi antipasti, guancia di vitello morbidissima e sorprendente tagliata all'aglio, in ultimo flan alle mele con caramello da ricordare. Prezzo vino centrati, sconto finale accordato dalla gentile titolare ho chiuso la bella serata.
09/03/2025: A volte non sai cosa aspettarti dalla cucina di albergo, e qui è stata una sorpresa bellissima. Non solo per l’accoglienza - informale, familiare -, ma per i piatti confortanti e meravigliosi. E anche audaci: quale ristorante oggi servirebbe una tagliata con burro e aglio, con tutte le fisime delle persone? Loro lo fanno e lo fanno bene. Piatti equilibrati, sazianti, dolci casalinghi eccezionali.
Un posto dove mi pento di aver solo mangiato, spero di tornare presto anche per dormire.
E un grattino a Mia!

27/12/2024: L'unica sufficienza stirata,la posso dare al cibo, il resto dire orrendo è poco.
1) il menù è fisso,non era scritto da nessuna parte,cominciano a portare gli antipasti e chiedo il menù...niente...prezzo fisso e pietanze fisse,nessuna scelta!!!
Vabbe accettiamo perché avendo una neonata,girare a cercare altro non era il meglio da fare.
2) proprietarie (penso) simpatiche e cordiali come ursula della sirenetta.
Un cartello che indichi che è SOLO quei 4 piatti fissi,sarebbe preferibile.
E indicare il prezzo...perché anche quello non era indicato da nessuna parte!!!

29/08/2024: Abbiamo raggiunto questo splendido ristorante nel corso di una bellissima escursione in e bike. Ambientazione bellissima ed esclusiva. Pranzo delizioso e soprattutto, pur essendo assolutamente tipico, si discosta per qualità dai cliché della ristorazione locale. Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo
22/08/2024: Siamo stati in questo posto delizioso ieri sera con una comitiva di 18 amici. Dagli antipasti con affettati misti, flan di verdure, verdure miste, al minestrone di erbe di montagna servito con crostini di pane e cubetti di fontina, alla polenta concia e non con salsiccette e al pollo è stato tutto veramente al top. La panna cotta è da applausi.
Se si va di giorno è possibile mangiare nei tavoli esterni in un prato meraviglioso all’ombra di gazebo. Un posto che consigliamo vivamente a chi vuole capire la bellezza e assaggiare la cucina migliore in Valle d’Aosta

The ice cream is outstanding especially my favourite black cherry.

Dolci ottimi e personale gentilissimo. Consiglio una playlist e un volume decisamente più consono alla
Montagna, quanto migliorerebbe l’atmosfera del locale !
