17/10/2025: We arrived without a reservation, but they seated us anyway. In the evening, after eight, the kitchen is closed except for dessert pizzas.

10/10/2025: The menu promises more refinement than the dishes on the plates ultimately delivered...in our case, all three of them sounded better than they tasted. Some of the prices are relatively high, not overpriced, but expectations were simply high and weren't met. The service was either composed primarily of trainees that day or generally not on the ball and rather inattentive. You always had to wait a long time for someone or make a lot of noise before someone came to your table. The seating there is very nice and comfortable, though. The ambiance is very tasteful.

05/10/2025: Bad experience, the waiter was very kind but otherwise a big disappointment. Polenta without salt and reheated, cheese risotto and cheese platter of low quality, compared to the service and the food the price was exorbitant, we will definitely not return.

12/09/2025: Impeccable dinner. All the dishes were exquisite. The meat was cooked perfectly and the porcini mushrooms were delicious. The dining room is a bit noisy, but it's not too bothersome; you can really feel the mountain cabin vibe. The service was good!

13/10/2025: I was truly impressed by the restaurant. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The restaurant's strong point is undoubtedly the cuisine. Here, you'll have the opportunity to taste traditional and non-traditional dishes, including reinterpretations with locally sourced ingredients. I tried the venison steak and it was an explosion of flavors. A dessert, the classic "crema di Cogne" with tegole, was the perfect finishing touch to a delicious dinner. The wine cellar offers a wide selection for all palates. I highly recommend this restaurant to all lovers of good food!

12/10/2025: Family dinner on a beautiful evening in Cogne. Welcoming place, excellent service, and super professional and friendly staff! Great for kids too, thanks to the special menu. Everything was clean and well-kept, down to the smallest details. A truly wonderful experience!

13/08/2025: The quality and abundance of food is very high. I appreciated that they guarantee that at least some varieties of beef are raised outdoors, without antibiotics, and on extensive pastures (we only bought cuts with this guarantee, and they were delicious).

07/10/2025: We had a reservation for three people, and the appetizers arrived after 58 minutes, so much so that I almost got up and left. There were some dishes off the menu, but after we ordered one of those, they came to inform us that only one portion was available. The young waitress at the front seemed to be running a bit empty. Furthermore, when she brought us a bottle of white wine, she didn't let anyone taste it in case it tasted corked. The dining room with its exposed brick vault is beautiful, but it's too noisy when the place is full. Nothing to complain about the quality of the dishes, nor the quantity.

29/09/2025: Excellent in every way... not close to the main road, you have to climb a long way up to get to the restaurant, but it's definitely worth it. The atmosphere is sublime, peaceful and tranquil. The classic mountain setting with wooden furnishings and inlaid wood objects made by the owner's father make the place even more welcoming. The owner is friendly and welcoming. Authentic food, local dishes, excellent polenta concia and lardo... what can I say... divine!!

15/09/2025: We had a really great meal. We've been back several times since the first one, and even for me, a celiac, there are plenty of choices (the crepes are superb!). It's a real shame it's about to close. The owner can no longer manage the business due to her advanced age, and she couldn't find anyone willing to take over the management.

24/08/2025: Quiet, cozy, and well-located restaurant. We ate fondue valdotaine and bourginonne, both delicious! We felt very well treated, the service was super attentive and pleasant. 100% recommended!

10/08/2025: Comment for the restaurant, not the rooms :-) Wonderful location and veranda. Mrs. Nadia is kind, friendly, and attentive. You feel at home. The food is simple and good. Valpelinese soup is flavorful, but at a moderate level. Simple, flavorful ham and cheese crepes. A cutlet, not made here, but good to have. Aromatic local wine. Authentic mocetta. A tender heart jon cake, made here, but wonderful. :-P. Prices are a bit higher, but it's worth a visit every now and then. :-)
