11/01/2026: Fantastic place, excellent food! Excellent first and second courses, but especially the meats. The venison was sublime, then the bison...reindeer... We ordered a second course. Even though the portions were already generous, it was worth it. Chef Gianni (take a moment to say hello) is truly amazing! Must try.

09/01/2026: We went for lunch on December 30th, without a reservation. It's our second time here and we're always happy. The ground-floor dining room is very nice. The food was good quality and excellent value, especially considering the area. The food was good, especially considering the presentation. The free meatball tasting before lunch and the mandarin parfait were appreciated. We tried the mocceta and tartare appetizers (excellent). The gnocchetti, ravioli, and taglierini were all very good. The wine was also good. Compliments, recommended, we'll be back.

11/03/2026: Good restaurant, excellent wine selection and carefully prepared dishes, with high-quality products. The staff were friendly and helpful; even without a reservation, they found a solution for us, which isn't for everyone.

01/03/2026: We spent three days in Cogne and had lunch at La Cave every day. The food was excellent quality, and the chef really knew his stuff. A nice bonus was the abundance of local products! Our absolute favorites were the homemade gnocchi with Bleu du Val d'Aosta cheese and the panna cotta. We didn't buy any wine, but they have a very wide selection of good bottles, both wines and liqueurs. Gabriele kindly gave our son a small souvenir.

09/11/2025: Eight years ago, we discovered your restaurant for our 50th wedding anniversary. Last week, without realizing it, while exploring a fine dining experience, we found ourselves back in the very same place. A warm welcome awaited us. We were delighted by the quality of the dishes, their flavors, and their presentation. At the end of the meal, we were astonished to realize that we had met Madame and her husband, a renowned chef, eight years ago. Thank you for this wonderful shared experience. Roger and Marie-Jeanne

09/03/2026: I'll start by saying I'm celiac. The staff is super attentive and knowledgeable. A wide selection of gluten-free dishes, excellent second courses on the first course, and their lard (which you can also buy in their dedicated store) is exceptional. All products are high-quality and, above all, local. Really great prices!

08/03/2026: We ate here thanks to a Smartbox, sampling a platter of cured meats and cheeses and two glasses of wine each. Afterwards, we ordered the Valdostana crepes and the Valdostana steak... everything was delicious. The service was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely return to try the tasting menu.

03/03/2026: A truly charming place, perfectly in keeping with the surrounding atmosphere. We immediately felt welcomed by the super kind and attentive waitress, who recommended we start with the tasting menu (we chose the traditional one) and then add more if desired. It was the best choice: every dish, from first to last, was a wonderful discovery of authentic, well-presented local flavors. You can sense the care taken in the preparation and the attention to the quality of the ingredients. If you're passing through, a stop here for lunch is highly recommended!

11/01/2026: On December 8th, returning from two days of skiing, we stopped for lunch at this very cute but somewhat hidden little place. We called in the morning and luckily found a table. There were seven of us, four adults and three children, plus two dogs, one of whom had walking difficulties. We went in, and when the woman noticed the dog's difficulty, she moved our table and put us in a more comfortable position, a truly kind gesture. We ordered a house tomino, a crepe, two portions of polenta concia, and a smooth one with a trio of meats. House wine and water were provided as drinks. The portions were more than adequate, everything was very good, with a special mention for the polenta concia and the meats. We finished with two desserts, two coffees, and a grappa, kindly offered. For a bill of €159. In conclusion, a more than pleasant place with good food and service, worth returning if we're on the road. S.F n1720 of 8/12/2025

25/02/2026: We found ourselves at this trattoria on the way to Castel Savoia. We were immediately welcomed by two young, kind, and knowledgeable people: Tommaso and Sonia. Their enthusiasm, passion for their work, and the refinement of their dishes—though simple—express a special touch—are evident. I had the maltagliati with wild boar ragù, while my companion had a generous rib-eye steak with a side of baked potatoes, all accompanied by a lovely glass of red wine recommended by Tommaso. To top it all off, we also had an apple tarte tatin and a Piedmontese bonet, both garnished with delicious whipped cream, suggested and made by Sonia, which made the whole experience even better. If we can give you an unsolicited piece of advice: absolutely try the cream with the desserts: it's truly exquisite! Everything else is truly worth it; definitely a place to return to. Well done, well done, go visit them!

10/01/2026: Big Ben Restaurant in Valtournenche: a truly exceptional place. Clean and meticulously maintained, with a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and kind, always smiling, and the service is quick and courteous, impeccable at any time of day. The food is excellent, with a wide range of dishes prepared with local and indigenous ingredients, all presented with great care. Passion and attention to detail are evident in the kitchen. Another great strength is the continuous hours: open all day, with food always ready, even in the afternoon. The pizza is also excellent, truly delicious. All this is accompanied by more than fair prices, absolutely in line with the quality offered. A restaurant where kindness, professionalism, cleanliness, and quality go hand in hand. 10/03/2026: I've been there many times and have always had a great time. It's not expensive and the food is good. Quick service and friendly, courteous staff. I recommend it for groups of friends and families, as well as for a romantic evening or a romantic dinner. I didn't take photos because everything was so good that I always thought about it too late.

The walk through the snow from the cable car to the restaurant was truly magical and made everything even more enchanting. The food is truly exceptional. The best tiramisu we've ever had! 05/02/2026: Absolutely amazing place! A hidden gem on the slopes of Courmayeur, and I am not exaggerating, good luck using Google maps to get there especially if you're not skiing, then it's truly a mission, but well worth it mission. Despite rather ordinary look all of the dishes are one of the best I've tried in this region, especially steak with porcini mushrooms. Also you can't skip a dessert here. The place is quite busy so reservation is recommend.
