12/08/2026: What can I say... We've been coming to the Aosta Valley for two years, and Kiuva is our go-to! Affordable, beautifully large dishes, cooked simply but with great respect for tradition. The tasting menu and other set menus are all highly recommended. Chestnuts in butter, polenta concia, cotechino with boiled potatoes... You name it. Everything is mouth-watering... The cuisine is obviously quite heavy, but true to tradition and local culture...
The shop inside the restaurant is beautiful.
The staff is friendly and professional.
The atmosphere is perhaps a little chaotic, but very cheerful and friendly.
P.S. Lardo di Arnad with their honey... Wow.

01/06/2026: I was passing through and stopped for lunch. I found the service excellent and the food delicious.
28/05/2026: In Verrès for work, I stayed at L'Armanac and I must say I had a really good time.
The staff were very kind and helpful, the room was clean and quiet, and the food was very good, having dined at the hotel restaurant.
I highly recommend it.

31/07/2026: Don't be fooled by the modest appearance: what at first glance seems like a classic country inn offers a refined menu that offers original interpretations of traditional and typical dishes of the Aosta Valley. Definitely worth a try.

05/08/2026: We dined at this restaurant on July 31, 2026. The place was pleasant and mountain-style, the staff friendly, and the dishes we tasted were generally good...but the Arnad lard was excessively salty (and, as we noted in the following days at other Aosta Valley restaurants, traditionally salty). The prices were reasonable. The only notable flaw (but this, too, is a constant in the Aosta Valley) was the lack of air conditioning...because they say they're not used to this excessive heat (although this phenomenon hasn't been new in recent years).
26/07/2026: Like last year, we stopped at this restaurant for lunch before reaching Aosta.
I must say the food is very good, authentic, and the service is very fast. The ladies in the dining room are very kind. We had a salad with moccetta and a Valdostan platter.... Generous dishes and good prices.... Excellent value.
Very welcoming and clean.

30/05/2026: Beautiful location surrounded by nature, very kind owners, and a delicious menu, from appetizers to desserts, at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

15/09/2025: We had a really great meal.
We've been back several times since the first one, and even for me, a celiac, there are plenty of choices (the crepes are superb!).
It's a real shame it's about to close. The owner can no longer manage the business due to her advanced age, and she couldn't find anyone willing to take over the management.

22/05/2025: Trattoria tipica del posto con piatti genuini e soprattutto abbondanti . Proprietario gentilissimo e molto disponibile come altrettanto il personale da ritornare sicuramente
07/02/2025: Les aconsejo mientras llegan sus platos, comer poco de cada uno porque hay tantos platos que son servidos que no podrá comer todo lo que sirven. Vino sin límite incluido.

31/08/2024: In un giorno infrasettimanale di Agosto abbiamo pranzato qui
Dopo una piacevole passeggiata di appena 20 minuti , dopo aver passato un antico santuario , si arriva in questo posto di pace .
Lasciare la macchina nel parcheggio da li si intravede un ponte di legno , seguire l'antica mulattiera .
Il fortino é stato restaurato completamente , offre anche camere per dormire
L'accoglienza é stata ottima ( non apre prima delle 12:00 per pranzo )
Antipasti valdostani ottimi , ( forse si potrebbe aumentare le quantità , ma le materie prime erano genuine )
Abbiamo preso un primo , un piatto non proprio delle nostre zone gli spatzle con cipolla e bacon croccanti , non mi sono particolarmente piaciuti ( il piatto é risultato molto asciutto - "secco" ) , gli spatzle penso siano stati fatti da loro e quindi da apprezzarne la qualità , il piatto nel suo complesso é da migliorare o provare a condirli in altro modo in modo . Non abbiamo preso altro , ma secondo me a parte questo parere personale , i piatti offerti dal ristorante sono buoni . Bel posto Da ritornarci sicuramente .

16/08/2023: Nulla da dire sull accoglienza e la gentilezza del personale. Ma in quanto al pranzo non ci siamo trovati bene. Il tagliere con affettati e castagne misero e affettato duro ,solo il lardo era buono . Mio marito ha preso le tagliatelle che erano scotte ed il dolce con torta di carote e mandorle sembrava fatta da chi non è capace a fare torte, non aveva un buon sapore .
07/08/2023: Arriviamo che ci sono tre tavoli occupati. Locale praticamente vuoto. Attendiamo più di 40 minuti per due primi piatti, un secondo e un tagliere.
Porzioni misere. Pasta chiaramente precotta. Solo il tagliere si salva.
Da evitare.
