24/05/2025: Renovated farmhouse, immersed in the bucolic atmosphere of the Umbrian countryside. A magical place? Or do Le Fate Ignoranti just want us to believe it (cit.). In any case, Le Fate offers us a cuisine with a strong identity, based on Umbrian tradition but with a personal touch that is there and can be seen. Homemade pasta, use of truffles, quality products. Second courses of meat and fish. Seasonal proposals. Very good desserts. Vegetarian dishes. And a great wine list to complete the work.

18/09/2025: A charming and welcoming place in one of the most characteristic areas of Perugia's historic center. The menu is certainly not touristy and features local cuisine, but the selection is very carefully crafted. The dishes are beautifully presented. I would modify the wine list, adding a few less usual products to ensure a consistent pairing with the menu.

25/11/2025: The meat is not of good quality and you can taste it, luckily the desserts are really good like they used to be made in the past (the zuppa inglese is excellent!)

18/09/2025: Amazing restaurant with a beautiful view of lake Trasimeno. Very friendly and nice service, and the pasta was out of this world!

07/09/2025: The restaurant is beautiful, tastefully decorated, and offers a truly picturesque view of the lake. The menu features both land and sea dishes, and a few lake dishes (honestly, I expected a few more). The lake appetizer was good, but lacking in flavor; the grilled trout was excellent, delicate and flavorful, although I expected the whole trout and not just half (though the quantity was sufficient; let's just say the menu deceived me). The ravioli stuffed with pike and pesto alla trapanese was disappointing (for my taste): the ravioli itself was good, but completely overpowered by the overpowering flavor of the pesto. The dessert was good. The wine list was very interesting; I would have liked more information on the wines by the glass; since I was alone, I couldn't afford to buy a bottle. The service was poor, perhaps due to the restaurant being full; the long wait between courses and a bit of confusion with the dishes. Definitely the thing that most detracted from the meal.

13/09/2025: We won't go back even if they had to pay us!!! This is the first time I've written a negative review of a pizzeria, because normally, due to the limited selection, a pizzeria can be described at worst as "neither good nor bad," and for that very reason, we refrain from reviewing it. But in this case, we went much further... Fried appetizers with a strong smell of oil and soaked in it; very hard breading that indicates overcooking. Pizza millimeter thick, with a biscuity flavor, semi-raw tomato topping with acidic tendencies, spicy salami that was absolutely flavorless. A brand of beer (I don't remember the name) served in a mini can. Fries absolutely unsatisfactory. Dulcis in fundo: the bill!! No comment.

31/08/2025: Excellent pizza, the best in the area. The fried foods are also delicious. Very nice place. Highly recommended, we always love coming back! Well done!

10/10/2025: A welcoming and knowledgeable host who makes you feel like a guest, not a tourist, on your journey. Indulge in a delicious Sagrantino paired with an authentic culinary selection. A must-try!

05/10/2025: Basted. First of all, the owner was rude and rude. He wouldn't even move to let us pass, and when he saw the only waitress struggling to serve all the tables, he totally ignored it while checking his phone. The waitress was very kind, which was the only positive thing about the place. The Crescia was good, but small for the price and full of oil. The first courses were basted: all obviously pre-cooked and frozen. The service was extremely slow, and it was the owner's fault. Get some sleep, buddy.

07/12/2025: Lovely little cocktail bar with an amazing view over the city of Perugia! We went at the beginning of November, during the low season, and were lucky to find a great spot. That said, I’d definitely recommend arriving early, especially in busier periods. It’s an ideal place for a good drink and some snacks while enjoying the view, though I wouldn’t suggest it for a full dinner. The staff were fantastic—very friendly and easy to communicate with, as everyone spoke excellent English. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in Perugia ☺️

07/12/2025: Good food, really small portions, 10% service charge. Unfortunately, the evening got off to a bad start due to a reservation error, so we're starting from a low base... the food was good, but be careful about the prices and portions, especially.

02/11/2025: We went for lunch yesterday. The atmosphere was family-friendly. The place is well-maintained. It feels like it's been immersed in the post-war era, with the sign outside echoing memories of the past. Inside, the tables are small with iron sconces, and the candle hanging from a metal holder from the ceiling is very pretty. I think the dark creates a lovely atmosphere. The staff is friendly but disorganized. The food is good, especially the tortelloni and gnocchi. Overall, a good lunch.

18/10/2025: Even though we live in Foligno, we go here often. Everything is excellent, you definitely won't leave hungry, in fact, even too much. Perfect value for money, and kid-friendly. You can sit inside or outside. It's great all year round. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I recommend it.

20/09/2025: We ordered takeout at 7pm, they confirmed the order, and when we arrived around 8pm, it was canceled. I called the restaurant and they said they were full and couldn't deliver the food. They could have said so right away since we'd already paid! Never again!

09/12/2025: We entered intrigued by the Roccata, which is indeed very good, but then we were completely surprised when, upon requesting three coffees and a glass of water, we were charged for the latter. We left €15 and were charged 30 cents for water. In 2025, you won't pay for water anywhere else, and you'd already have to be brave to charge for it. It's not written anywhere in the establishment that you have to pay for water. Absurd.

01/12/2025: We popped into the pastry shop for a coffee and were intrigued by the "rocciata"... I won't tell you what it is, you have to try it...it's a delight. In short, we left with more rocciatas and meringues to take back to Puglia for our family to enjoy. The owner is very friendly and the place is welcoming. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.
