16/08/2024: Leider sind wir sehr enttäuscht… wir hatten uns ein besseres Essen aufgrund der Bewertungen erhofft. 1. Wir hatten ausdrücklich den Prosecco als Aperitif bestellt. Leider kamen dieser, der Wein und das Wasser zeitgleich… 2. Das Essen wurde sehr schnell serviert - übersichtliche Portionen, geschmacklich einigermaßen in Ordnung, aber leider qualitativ nicht dem Preis angemessen. 3. Die Salatauswahl (musste zusätzlich zum Schnitzel bestellt werden) war nicht unbedingt ansprechend (viel eingelegtes Gemüse, eine Sorte grüner Salat, der nicht makellos war) - ist aber Geschmacksache! 4. Wir hatten für zwei Personen reserviert- uns wurde im Laufe der ersten halben Stunde ein weiteres Paar an den Tisch gesetzt, da es nur Sitzgruppen (schöne robuste Holzbänke und -tische aus Holzstämmen) für mehrere Personen gab und augenscheinlich alle freien Tische bereits reserviert waren. Grundsätzlich kein Problem, aber man kann sich nicht mehr so frei unterhalten, wenn fremde Menschen mit am Tisch sitzen. Schade, da das Ambiente mit dem großen Garten, dem Fernblick ins Tal und dem schönen Gebäude gemütlich und sehr ansprechend sind.

22/08/2024: A beautiful hotel with a great location. The entire team is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Breakfast and dinner are world class. Thanks to the Vinschgau Card, we were able to leave our car parked all week.

19/08/2024: Unfortunately we were simply turned away. As a small group, we weren't even allowed to use the toilets for a fee. I understand something different by hospitality. But well, everyone has their own ideas.

19/08/2024: Very good place! Beautiful terrace to eat! Good quality-price ratio. The kitchen closes at 8pm, then only pizza!

18/08/2024: We stopped with the children after a trip to the Pietralba monastery. Sports center with games for children (slide, swings, etc.) close to the surrounding woods. Tried takeaway pizza and fries, all excellent.

13/08/2024: Superb inn, delicious spinach dumplings, local sausage with potatoes and amazing homemade Sacher torte! The lady who welcomed us was very kind.

11/08/2024: Can’t get a better lunch than this really. Delicious food for an incredibly reasonable price. Two large courses and wine for less than €30 each. Avoid the crowds by the lake and eat here instead!!

08/08/2024: The pizza and the children's lasagne were okay. The risotto, which was accidentally served instead of tagliatelle, was not as good, but the dumplings were quite good. You can also sit well here, but the chairs could be a little smaller.

08/08/2024: Spontaneous. So I got a place very spontaneously and with a lot of luck. Were served very courteously. The food was a culinary delight. Even children are welcome here.

17/08/2024: Questa malga è raggiungibile con una camminata di circa 40 minuti. Posto ideale per rilassarsi e per godere di un ottimo pranzo. Canederli super e anche il tagliere misto. Piccolo parco giochi per bambini con uno scivolo, la sabbiera e la pista delle palline. Consigliato!

17/08/2024: Saliti dal laghetto sottostante, con calma dopo un'oretta abbondante di salita, su strada forestale siamo giunti alla malga a vista l'ora ci siamo fermati a mangiare. Nonostante ci fosse un continuo arrivo di gente, tanti bambini e ciclisti in mountan bike, abbiamo trovato rapidamente da sederci e molto celermente ci hanno servito il tris di canederli e lunette con ricotta e spinaci. Per finire una mega fetta di torta con albicocche e panna. Acqua, tre caffé e tanta cortesia hanno chiuso un buon pranzo; conto nella norma e vista la presentazione dei piatti, più curata delle altre malghe provate, pensavo spendessimo di più.Non abbiamo provato, ma diverse persone vanno per gustare piatti di carne che altri esercizi non hanno nwi loro listini. 22/08/2024: We always plan at least one visit to the Gaston Pizzeria during our stay in Meran. Year after year we look forward to guaranteed very good pizza and pasta. All service staff are always friendly and helpful; even if all tables are occupied. In Merano you can of course sit more beautifully and comfortably... on the promenade, in beer gardens, etc... however, this small side aisle in the arbors is quite quiet and, above all, it tastes great despite the lack of sun. Over and over again!

28/08/2024: On recommendation we had dinner at the Kürbishof. Very nice place with about 20 seats, intimate and welcoming atmosphere, in Tyrolean style. The management is completely family-run, mother and son offer two menus in the kitchen, both with a good choice, the first more "traditional", the second more experimental and modern. It's a shame we weren't offered the possibility of a tasting menu (which was instead offered to other customers alongside us). We tasted several courses from both menus, the quantities are right, the taste certainly has experience and research as its basis. Mother Sara's dishes recall familiar flavours, in Mathias's the desire to create new flavors is evident, always using native raw materials, including his own production. The first is a more mature cuisine, the second is still slightly immature, but with enormous potential. In summary, in both cases we enjoyed it. In the dining room the service is instead of father and daughter, Angelika treated us in an excellent way, sunny, non-intrusive, and very prepared, always attentive. The wine list reflects the territory and includes some very interesting gems. The Zalto glasses are very beautiful. Final bill €115 for welcome, bread basket, three starters and two first courses, two glasses of wine and water, one grappa. Prices commensurate with the proposal. We would have liked to taste more but we were full. A place we will definitely return to and it was worth more than an hour's journey from our accommodation. Rating 4.5/5, congratulations guys, your passion can be felt.

20/08/2024: Last of the 3 mountain huts on the route but first in terms of views and food. I tasted the classic trio of dumplings and I liked them a lot. Having the table near the kitchen I was able to savor the various smells of the preparations which stimulated the appetite. Must try

23/08/2024: 5 stars because 6 or more is not possible. I finally managed to find the time to write a well-deserved positive review about this splendid place. In August, I was there with my partner for a week and... nothing to say, everything was perfect, a beautiful and spotless place, excellent food at an affordable price, very kind, friendly and extremely helpful staff, plus the really super Chef. Go there and you won't be disappointed!!! We plan to return soon!!! We have been back many times but today we learned that it is closing forever. A real shame, there is no other restaurant like this in all of South Tyrol!!

22/08/2024: We booked in the restaurant given the numerous positive reviews and I must say that it completely reflected them. The staff were very kind, always smiling. The food was really high quality, delicious. For many the menu may be limited but we appreciated the fact that they are focused much more on quality than quantity! The prices are fair, perhaps those of the desserts are slightly higher than those found here in Alto Adige but nothing special. What can I say, highly recommended! If you want to stop by, however, I recommend you book! The only "inconvenience" for some could be the fact that practically all the internal tables are very high, therefore with stools and not chairs. Those who have difficulty walking could have problems but I think it is enough to point this out at the time of booking because they have as many external tables

13/08/2024: The dish with cheese dumplings with chanterelle ragout and speck crumble is good. Too bad there was only one dumpling.... The interior of the place is beautiful
