Recomend this place and next time when we will visit Alta Badia region we will definetly return to this restaurant! Thank you

16/05/2025: Very nice place, nothing to say, but honestly the food was a disappointment. Overcooked meat and the grilled shank was even dry ... Side dishes and desserts were normal. We were in the place for lunch, there weren't many people so I don't find any extenuating circumstances.

28/05/2025: A visit to Café Wandelhalle in Merano is a standard part of our itinerary whenever we're in South Tyrol. The service is always friendly and attentive, without exception. You can sit comfortably by the river (with the wonderful background noise) or under the arches and watch the passersby strolling by. They offer small snacks and drinks, and you can easily spend an entire day here with a good book.

14/04/2025: Ottimo bar ristorante dove abbiamo mangiato degli ottimi piatti tirolesi, un buonissimo tagliere di formaggi e speck e gustato il migliore strudel che abbiamo mai mangiato servito con crema e gelato alla vaniglia e ribes. Servizio buono, porzioni abbondanti, personale gentilissimo e cortesia, da consigliare per l'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo offerto.

27/04/2025: I have been visiting this restaurant for many years as I often walk the path to Vellau. Unfortunately, in recent years I have observed that prices have risen disproportionately while portions have become increasingly smaller. The view is still spectacular, the service is very nice, especially the young waiter is very professional. The quality of the food is very good. But it's still a mountain inn, not a gourmet restaurant, it would be nice if you could still afford to eat there.

The food was a true highlight: freshly prepared, lovingly presented, and of the highest quality. Every course was a delight! An all-around successful evening – I will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant!

06/05/2025: Wow what a hotel. Absolutely recommended, especially out of season. There were very few guests on site, but the pool was opened especially for us upon request. The sauna and wellness area were wonderfully equipped. The hotel rooms are very modern and well equipped.

03/05/2025: The service was friendly and good despite the busy evening. However our seafood pizza was extremely poor - they even put there surimi! 🙈 The only good thing about pizza was the opportunity to make it of Kamut dough. And I must admit that the Strudel was really home made - not too sweet, just perfect. So I would only recommend it there.
