10/10/2025: I thought long and hard about whether to write this review. If we had paid significantly less, you wouldn't be reading this review. But if I compare the price to performance, the 4**** rating is unfortunately in vain. The staff is truly super nice, very friendly, and helpful. However, untidy tables or an empty glass are unfortunately often overlooked. The entrance area with reception is inviting with cool lamps and seating. However, the reception is untidy and very unsightly as a result. The hotel advertises itself as being family-run. The family is very present in the hotel, less through service than through sheer, sometimes loud, presence. Employees are reprimanded bilingually in front of guests. This is inappropriate and unpleasant for both guests and staff. The senior and junior managers are reserved but particularly friendly and very pleasant in their interactions with guests. The breakfast and lunch snack were very disappointing. The website is much more professional than the hotel itself. Based on that and the prices, we had really high expectations, none of which were met. Finally, I'd like to say that some of the reviews seem suspect to me. They use almost identical wording, and they always talk about "...the professional competence of the staff...", which sounds rather uninformal and therefore seems inauthentic. Unfortunately, no "goodbye," just "bye."

27/10/2025: Yesterday, we stopped by Gutshof Lana directly after a hike and were dressed appropriately casually—in jeans and a sporty sweater—but were still greeted warmly. We ordered pizza. When the pizza arrived, the waitress apologized for the unattractive shape of my boyfriend's pizza. But that wasn't the problem for us. It wasn't the shape that bothered us; the pizza was unfortunately a bit charred and at least a quarter smaller than my pizza. You can't serve that kind of pizza in a restaurant. We pointed this out, and the pizza was taken back. After 15 minutes, my boyfriend received a new pizza. At good restaurants, we're used to at least a free drink as an apology or a dessert afterward. This wasn't the case at our table. When the waitress asked if everything was delicious, we confirmed it, but pointed out that it was a shame we couldn't eat together. She then replied, "Yes, that's always a shame!" We wonder if this happens often in this restaurant? The pizza tasted decent, but not exceptional. At the parallel table, almost at the same time, a completely different approach was taken. Here, the waiter took more time from the beginning, and the incorrect pizza was brought back from the kitchen "as a gift." The person who had to wait longer for their pizza also received a small gift upfront so they could eat with their friends. We wonder why there was apparently a double standard here. Was it because our attire was inappropriate for the restaurant? The head waiter, who acted so friendly at the neighboring table, also served us and noticed the faux pas. Why didn't he intervene? Perhaps we should have pointed out to the waitress that the situation was handled more elegantly at the neighboring table. So, although we were full, we returned to our hotel somewhat disappointed as "second-class citizens." We hope that other guests will be spared such an experience in the future.

15/10/2025: I ate two meals here. The pizza was delicious, with a wide variety of toppings. I highly recommend the porcini mushrooms. The restaurant is open until 11 PM, so you don't have to worry about missing out on dinner even after visiting the attractions. It's conveniently located near the station.

05/10/2025: This is our fifth visit to this wonderful restaurant. The food is phenomenal. Great flavor combinations, yet not too complex, allowing you to recognize the ingredients and let each one unfold its full potential. The service is fantastic, very friendly, attentive, and everything runs at a pleasantly relaxed pace. Added to that is the exceptional wine, which is served to match the dishes. With a wealth of in-depth knowledge and great passion for each wine and its history! And to top it all off, the daughter made some addictive chocolates! Thank you Sonja, Jörg, and your children for the wonderful evening! ... and thank you for the shuttle service to the bus! We're already looking forward to our next visit 🤩

17/09/2025: Excellent food. Great lunch menu. Changes daily. Everything was perfect. Selected wines and the food was lovingly prepared and delicious. The chocolates are highly recommended. All handmade.

26/08/2025: There are no words to describe it... my wife and I have been going to this place for over 20 years... and for 12 years we have been bringing our children... what can I say, excellent in everything!!

10/11/2025: After descending from the snow-covered Eisjöchl pass, the alpine pasture was already visible from above, and we enjoyed the beautiful mountain scenery all around us from the beer garden. An unusual-sounding but delicious sage spritzer, charming service, and a free schnapps at reasonable prices. Later, traditional mountain tunes played on the accordion from inside. What more could a vacationer ask for? 👍

21/10/2025: We waited over an hour for the food. We weren't told that a group was celebrating their class internally, and thus all the other guests sitting outside at the tables were disadvantaged. According to the motto, "First the class, then the rest." When the food finally arrived, it was cold! Finally, the manager came over and said that at a celebration like this, the remaining guests would have to take a step back. My goodness, that's just not right!!!👎👎👎

03/10/2025: The staff are super friendly and always smiling. I highly recommend the homemade strudel, it's the bomb.

08/12/2025: This place has been a firm favourite for years! The atmosphere is spacious, yet quaint and warm. The waiters and kitchen are very efficient, and the food is varied and delicious, including the excellent pizzas! The prices are equally satisfying! Highly recommended!

21/09/2025: We happened to be driving past and wanted to stop for a bit. We were surprised by what we got. The Hugo (alcohol-free) was very refreshing and deliciously summery. I highly recommend the apple strudel and especially the chocolate-pear cake. Large pieces and very tasty! The service was attentive. We also got a small snack on the house with our order, which was also very nice.

10/09/2025: Our favorite refuge and a must-see after the outward journey to Corvara. Nestled in a lush green landscape, surrounded by goats, donkeys, and rabbits. The food is excellent, from the pasta dishes to the sandwiches, and the service is attentive and friendly. See you next year!

14/12/2025: The staff were always helpful and offered a smile, especially Dasha! The rooms were very comfortable and clean, the bathroom was beautiful and spacious, and the bed was truly comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional. And what about the spa? Gorgeous! The outdoor pool is a must-try!

14/12/2025: Friendly, smiling, kind, and accommodating. What more could you ask for? Enchanting location, airy, clean, and comfortable rooms, a tidy, clean, and well-organized spa area. Superb breakfast, and a special mention to Dasha, a thoughtful and cheerful waitress. We'll definitely be back! Thank you all.

05/12/2025: We ate today 5/12/2025. The place is nice, the food is good, let's talk about it, no. It's what you read in the reviews, then calling what was served to us boiled is blasphemy, you can't serve boiled meat with boiled vegetables!!!!!! and then two dry pieces NO No if you're not capable don't do it, then the prices are too high stay away.

20/11/2025: Absolutely fantastic… This pizzeria saved our bacon. On our drive to our holiday destination at the end of October, almost everything was closed coming from Nauders. Our spirits were low; everyone needed to pee, was hungry, and was starting to get grumpy. Luckily, we managed to get a table on Friday evening (without a reservation), and things improved dramatically! Very friendly service, a lovely rustic atmosphere, a brilliant menu with amazing creations, incredibly nice staff, and on top of that, fantastic food!! YES BABY 🤓 It will now be a regular stop in the Vinschgau Valley!! Many thanks again to the whole team, and keep up the great work…

12/11/2025: Pizzeria/restaurant with traditional cuisine, really fast service, and a very comprehensive menu. Both the pizzas and the restaurant menu are good, and the prices are very fair! The only advice I can give...remove the oregano from 90% of the pizzas! 😅

28/11/2025: The food was excellent and plentiful, and they welcomed our dog with a smile, even giving her a bowl of water. If I had to comment, I think €6 for a bottle of local water seems a bit steep.
