12/08/2026: A classic beer hall with a terrace. The menu features a wide selection of pizzas and local classics like dumplings, Schlutzkrapfen (filled pasta), and schnitzel, as well as the Lanahof Burger and much more. Prices were very reasonable, and the service was friendly and efficient. It was very busy after 8 pm, with the terrace packed. We ordered the Lanahof Burger, the Wiener Schnitzel, the Herrengrostl (fried potatoes with minute steak and gravy served in a hot bowl), vegetable pizza, and the tiramisu, and almost devoured everything. For those who prefer dark beer, they offer the Diestelhuser Landbier. It was delicious and easy to drink. All in all, we were very satisfied and completely stuffed. Perhaps we'll manage a second visit? €120 for 5 people, including dessert for everyone (a "robber's dessert") and drinks. Reservations are recommended, especially for the terrace.

25/12/2025: We spent a wellness weekend at the Alpiana. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially the spa area, which is truly beautiful. The saunas are fantastic, the infusions were always a wonderful experience, and the view is breathtaking. One minor criticism: the rooftop pool was a bit too cold for our liking, so we couldn't stay in it for very long. A few degrees warmer would have made it much more pleasant. Unfortunately, we were less impressed with the vegan options. The hotel heavily promotes itself as vegan-friendly and claims to offer many vegan alternatives. However, our experience only partially confirmed this. The main courses at dinner, in particular, seemed somewhat unimaginative on both evenings – mostly vegetables, very little protein, and generally lacking in variety. There's so much more potential here, especially since vegan cuisine can be so creative. There wasn't even a vegan option for the afternoon cake, which we found disappointing considering the website's presentation. It's a bit misleading. All in all, the stay was very enjoyable, especially thanks to the superb spa area. However, we see room for improvement when it comes to vegan food.
