24/03/2024: We spent our honeymoon in South Tyrol and reserved a room for a week in the family-run Hotel Sonnenheim.
We really enjoyed our stay there. From the cleanliness of the hotel to the really large and comfortable rooms (in our case including a balcony with a panoramic view) to the wide range of wellness options including sauna, massage treatments (inexpensive) and relaxation areas; You can have a good time here!
The staff was consistently friendly and the food was simply delicious.
By bus (stop directly in front of the hotel) you can reach Meran in about 30 minutes.
It was probably not the last time we would be in this beautiful area and in this really great hotel.
15/03/2024: Extremely friendly and courteous staff. Special requests will also be addressed to your complete satisfaction. Great sauna area. Large, modern and cozy rooms. We were accommodated in the new building. A great experience, thank you very much!

08/12/2023: Ristorante stupendo con viste sulle montagne, qualità del servizio ottima, qualità prodotti altrettanto .
19/11/2023: Ci siamo recati in questo ristorante per pranzo e complice anche una bella giornata di sole la vista lascia veramente senza parole.
Il personale è molto attento e gentile, oltre che preparato.
I piatti curati nei minimi dettagli e molto buoni.
Abbiamo anche avuto la possibilità di bere il caffè nella terrazza all’esterno ed è stato decisamente un punto in più!

Staff estremamente cordiale, location incantevole.
Menu tipo altoatesino, ben cucinato.
Decisamente una tappa da fare!
22/08/2023: La recensione oltremodo generosa va contestualizzata. Siamo nel cuore del comprensorio escursionistico montano di Merano 2000, dove il turista, per definizione cliente occasionale, è esposto alla tentazione di alcuni ristoratori di servire cibi di scarsa qualità a prezzi inverecondi.
Alla malga Waidmann, mio marito ed io siamo stati accolti garbatamente e con grandissima professionalità.
La proposta gastronomica non tradisce le aspettative: i piatti sono quelli della tradizione altoatesina, sono ben eseguiti e non eccessivamente costosi.
La clientela è varia, ma data la facilità con cui si può raggiungere la malga, sono numerose le famiglie con prole più o meno disciplinata.
