Unfortunately their food quality seems to have reduced significantly from some time ago. The por knuckle and tiramisu were not up to Tubladel standards. You can do better guys!

Aesthetically distinctive restaurant, excellent location, easily accessible with private parking. Warm yet professional welcome. Very professional service. Intriguing menu with various off-menu options. Innovative cuisine with excellent roots in tradition. Top-quality ingredients. Sublime meats, both tender and cooked. Intriguing desserts. A wine list worthy of a sommelier's concussion! Prices are significant, but when compared to the quality... fair.

I'd visited once before in summer but this time we came for dinner in winter and enjoyed the warm cabin like vibe. We shared the tuna tartare (comes pre-portioned when we said we were sharing which was a nice touch and it was nice), the mushroom ravioli (rich and tasty) and the spare ribs (their signature dish and I'd had them on my last visit but this time the meat wasn't quite falling off the bone as I'd hoped but the side potato was excellent). The service was attentive and efficient.

Hotel Ristorante Pizzeria Al Cervo - Gasthof Zum Hirschen

16/04/2026: We went to Zum Hirschen in Magrè and had a really good time. The waiters are super friendly, always helpful without ever being intrusive. We loved the pizza, it was well-made and really good, especially the deer pizza, definitely my favorite, which is definitely much better with their garlic mayonnaise. What struck us most, however, was the owner's kindness: when we left, my wife and I were surprised because he gave us water for the journey home. A simple gesture, but one that shouldn't be taken for granted. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a few days' vacation or relaxation in a quaint village in South Tyrol.
