We come to Bolzano every summer and during our stay always eat at Bogen at least once (it was recommended to us by the part of the family that lives in Bolzano) and are delighted once again - the octopus and beef tartare are top-notch and the service is extremely friendly.

Very friendly staff. Good food. Good gluten free waffles they they put banana chocolate and berries on despite not being on the menu. Good gluten free cookies too. A little expensive for what it was. Around 18 euro for waffle and fruit and nuts

During our trip to South Tyrol, we had a really delicious lunch at Bogen Bolzano. The location alone is fantastic, as the restaurant is right in the heart of the beautiful old town, nestled in one of the arches. The ceiling decoration is absolutely stunning – lots of dried flowers! We enjoyed the lemonades, and then the delicious food arrived. Definitely take a break and enjoy your time there. A coffee and a slice of moist cake are also a great idea! Everything is incredibly fresh and tasted absolutely wonderful.

Special praise also goes to the staff, always kind, smiling, and helpful, making every customer feel welcome. The combination of excellent food, excellent service, and a charming location makes this bistro one of my favorite places in the city ♥️

Very nice and well-kept place. Reservations are recommended for lunch. Outdoor seating is also available in summer. Not traditional food, but still very good and well-prepared. Cool drinks and delicious desserts. The staff is quite friendly.

24/02/2026: Dinner with a friend during my last trip to Italy. Having food intolerances, it's not often I find friendly, empathetic, and helpful staff. Our Lagrein was excellent, and the atmosphere was very clean and well-maintained. We'll definitely see you again. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening.
19/02/2026: I went to this restaurant for dinner with friends. We didn't try the pizza, which looked nice, but only the food. The food was really good, the service was average, and the atmosphere was a bit noisy, perhaps better for large groups. The prices, in my opinion, were a bit too high.

27/07/2026: Real rating 4.8. One of the best and most accessible refuges in Val Badia. Located in an area accessible by cable car, it's ideal for families. It's also accessible by good trails (I use 13/7A, the one from Castalda). Excellent food: this time we had mountain pine ravioli, goulash with dumplings, and mountain pine panna cotta. Everything tasted exceptional, with generous portions. Prices are average, but they're compensated, as I said, by the portions, which are actually filling with just one course. The service is fast and there's great customer service. There are plenty of seating inside and outside, but this is one of the most popular places. A must-see if you're in the area.
21/07/2026: Overall, I didn't find the right mix that I find in other establishments in Badia.
