04/04/2026: A beautiful mountain inn in a fantastic location with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Gasthof Hochmuth is perfect for a relaxing stop after a hike or simply for a break with panoramic views. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed, making it a great place to linger and enjoy the scenery. A worthwhile stop at a beautiful altitude.
04/04/2026: I ate at the restaurant, but I didn't try the rooms, so I can't rate them. It's worth going just to eat with that view. The food was excellent, the prices were fair, the service was courteous, and it was a great experience.

05/04/2026: Despite booking a table well in advance, we got a pretty bad table (in the middle of the room, drafty, cigarette smoke from outside). Two out of four pieces of goulash were soggy and inedible.
A shame, we remember it being much better in the past.
04/11/2025: Despite the restaurant being full, the service was friendly and perfect, the food was excellent, highly recommended.

15/02/2026: The Patriarch restaurant in Tirol has been renovated in recent years and has developed very well. In winter, it's practically the only place open in Dorf Tirol. In summer, they regularly have steak weeks, which are highly recommended. The staff is very friendly. Good value for money.
13/02/2026: The price-performance ratio is unacceptable. Unfortunately, it's fish week. The fish was overcooked, and the sauce was probably from a can. The pasta with tomato sauce wasn't particularly good either. The sauce is likely bought in and not made from scratch. The pasta itself is probably from a cheap brand, likely Barilla. If I can cook better at home than I can eat here in a restaurant, it's simply a disappointment, especially considering the high price.

We had a fantastic and uncomplicated lunch; the food and service were sensational.
The service was very friendly and they kept a very good eye on everything 👍!!
29/10/2025: We ordered food for takeout:
1. Despite only a 5-minute walk home, the food was lukewarm.
2. The menu on the website has outdated prices...very annoying.
3. The dumpling trio we ordered didn't include any salad!!! We didn't bother calling, though, because we were really hungry and wanted to at least have some semblance of warmth in our food. We definitely won't be ordering from there again or eating in.

I always look forward to it opening.
The location has been renovated, is very beautiful and welcoming. The ice cream is always fresh and very good. The ice cream sundaes are generous and very good. I recommend it if you're in Tirolo.
