02/05/2026: The service was very friendly. The pizza was excellent. We enjoyed the atmosphere in the courtyard. The only downside was the extra charge for the cover fee. Unfortunately, we only noticed this afterward. This isn't standard practice everywhere in Merano.
02/05/2026: The price-performance ratio was a disaster. We even finished the dry bread with croissants, for which they charged us three euros. Otherwise, our stomachs would have been completely empty. The portion was too small for a toddler.

11/05/2026: On the positive side, the food quality was good. However, the portions were rather small considering the high price. We had to wait a very long time at the beginning before our order was taken. In our opinion, it's more of a place for Merano's fashionable crowd. If that's your thing, then this is the place for you.

14/05/2026: We went to the pizzeria for the first time today. The pizza 🍕 was delicious and huge. The service was very friendly. The atmosphere was lovely, and everything was very clean – even the restrooms 🚽.
14/05/2026: We were there at lunchtime. The restaurant was full, but we were greeted very warmly and after a short wait, we were seated.
The service was perfect and the pizza was excellent!

04/06/2026: We often had lunch at Saxifraga during our holiday. Fantastic, creative cuisine with a good wine list. Be sure to try the local wines. Great view of Merano. The staff was always very friendly and attentive.
02/06/2026: What a fantastic restaurant, incredibly delicious food. Not to mention the view. Simply breathtaking. Their steak tartare, or even... oh, everything is just amazing... I'm already looking forward to our next visit. Keep it up! And no... I'm not getting any free food or money for this review. Try it for yourselves!!!

13/12/2025: By pure chance, I ended up here for dinner, located very close to the Gardens of Trautmansdorff Castle, just one bus stop away.
From the moment I walked in until the very friendly goodbye, it was a wonderful treat for all the senses!
The pizzas, which I tried twice, are outstanding, incredibly delicious, very large, and you can even get them with whole wheat dough – absolutely delicious! 😋👍👍👍👍👍 On top of that, the service was very friendly, courteous, and attentive; you feel incredibly welcome as a guest!
Thank you so much for two wonderful dinners in a lovely, pleasant atmosphere!

03/04/2026: An unexpected highlight of our city trip.
We spontaneously arrived shortly after opening without a reservation and were warmly welcomed. Luckily, there were still some tables available. It filled up quickly after we arrived.
Our server was attentive and friendly, anticipating our every need. We ordered a tuna steak and a beef steak, both served without unnecessary frills. They were by far the best versions of these dishes we've had in a long time. The desserts were also absolutely fantastic.
Highly recommended, even as a day trip if you're in the area.
03/04/2026: We went for a beer on Thursday afternoon in lovely weather. Despite the beer garden being full, the young waitress was fantastic. Kudos! 😀

26/04/2026: A very cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Alexander and his wife cook with farm-fresh produce, wild herbs, and a whole lot of heart. We felt truly at home; unfortunately, we could only stay one evening, but we'll be back! A very lovely family!
