15/03/2026: We spent our short but wonderful honeymoon here and felt very comfortable from the start. The hosts contributed greatly to this with their warm hospitality – thank you so much! Arriving by train is straightforward, and the location right in the center is perfect. Our room was a dream: spacious, simple, and very cozy. The harmonious interior design with wood, floors, and arches is consistent throughout the entire house and creates a particularly lovely atmosphere. Despite the central location, it's wonderfully quiet everywhere – ideal for unwinding. The small, elegant spa area invites you to relax. The breakfast is excellent, featuring many regional products and lovingly prepared dishes. The restaurant is also sensational – creative South Tyrolean cuisine with superb local ingredients. We will definitely be back! 😊

13/10/2025: A fantastic hotel with a beautiful view and location, and it's also worth the price. The ride up on the Rittenbahn cable car is fantastic in good weather.

12/01/2026: After a somewhat brusque initial welcome, perhaps due to the particularly busy time, we were assigned a number to wait for a table. Despite the place being packed, we were seated quickly: just enough time for a small beer tasting at the bar. The menu was extensive, the food good, the beer excellent, the service fast and friendly. Special mention for the struedel: exquisite. Very welcoming and quaint atmosphere. Recommended.

16/03/2026: We had the pleasure of spending a week with you. The rooms are very comfortable and the spa is simply wonderful. The breakfast buffet is incredibly varied and delicious. We would have liked better coffee, and an afternoon snack would have been great. The location is superb. We felt very comfortable as a family. The playroom could be a bit more inviting. Thank you for the wonderful time at your hotel and the amazing memories we'll take home with us ❤️

15/03/2026: Our host Sophia and her family gave us a warm welcome; they were very friendly and extremely accommodating! The spa area, pool, and rooms were spotlessly clean and beautiful. The food was delicious and prepared with great care! Overall, our stay was a highlight and simply wonderful!

02/03/2026: The pizza was very good. It has a special dough. It has a thicker crust and is therefore not as big. The waitress was very friendly!

15/02/2026: Wow, the wine, pizza, and pasta were all really delicious. I ordered the first wine, and it was refreshing and light, which was nice. Julia's pizza was the best, but the vegetable pizza was a bit much (not my style). The pasta was aglio olio. You really have to try the tiramisu and pudding. Seriously, it was a slap in the face to everything I've ever had. Anyway, I recommend it.

24/02/2026: We visited Café Wandelhalle in Merano and were absolutely delighted. The café is beautifully situated right on the banks of the Passer River and offers a breathtaking view of the river and the surrounding landscape. The location is simply perfect – quiet, charming, and right in the heart of Merano. The ambiance is very nostalgic and reminiscent of the classic spa town atmosphere of bygone eras. You immediately feel at ease and transported to another time. Sitting outside is particularly lovely, allowing you to relax and watch the activity along the promenade. The service was friendly, attentive, and warm. The drinks and cakes were delicious and beautifully presented. It's an ideal spot for a break during a stroll through Merano or for a leisurely afternoon coffee. A truly traditional café with style, charm, and a fantastic location – we'll definitely be back!

20/11/2025: This café is something truly special and holds a particular charm for my wife and me. It's small but exquisite, and away from the hustle and bustle. The service is consistently very friendly and helpful, always attentive to the customer's comfort and well-being. The light meals are delicious and perfect for a quick bite, satisfying a craving without having to forgo a proper dinner. It's wonderful that this café exists and manages to stand out from the competition. We will definitely return whenever we are in Merano.

26/08/2025: There are no words to describe it... my wife and I have been going to this place for over 20 years... and for 12 years we have been bringing our children... what can I say, excellent in everything!!

05/03/2026: Very welcoming and warm place, hearty traditional dishes (I didn't take photos of the other dishes but trust me); the room where I ate is not very large so it is advisable to book in advance (I don't know if there are other rooms). As for parking, we parked the car in front of a tractor on the hill because we didn't see where to park and if there was actually private parking, if you contact them to book, let them know about this.

28/12/2025: A super cozy and family-friendly restaurant; we'll definitely be back next time we're in Ortisei! We enjoyed the pasta, burger, and venison ragout; they have a wide variety of dishes on the menu. The experience was topped off by the super friendly staff and their excellent service! We didn't have a reservation, but a table was set up for us right away... in short, I can only say positive things about this restaurant. 😋 If you're feeling up to it, you can even take a dip in the adjacent pool afterward.😁🏊‍♀️
