26/04/2026: A wonderful experience at this high-end trattoria. The food was exquisite and excellent. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming. They were also friendly and helpful with children.
20/04/2026: This place isn't just a restaurant, but a culinary experience you shouldn't miss.
The food is excellent, and almost everything is home-grown or locally sourced. Absolute attention is paid to the quality of the ingredients and their preparation.
The chef personally serves the food and explains the dishes and their details in detail. You can see and feel the passion he puts into what he does and the love he feels for his local area.
The portions are just right, smaller than other restaurants in the area, but the attention to detail is truly unique, both in presentation and preparation.
The service is very friendly and helpful, especially Radka. The waitress was incredibly smiling and we had the pleasure of chatting with her. She was truly lovely.
The place is very well-kept and welcoming, with just a few tables but plenty of privacy and attentive service.
The prices are slightly higher, but considering the setting, they're definitely fair.
We recommend booking.
Highly recommended for those who want to eat well while respecting tradition and the spectacular surroundings.

03/05/2026: We didn’t use Accomodation but did hike up for the view and had lunch. It was very busy. The staff were friendly, the food we had was good. We were given a shot each of their own home made berry liquor which was lovely.
The hike all the way up was on a road, that only gives access to the staff. We are holiday hikers so not very fit. The ascent was slow and steady. I am a slow walker took us 4 hours there and back. 13.11km and 612m ascent. The views at the top are worth the effort.

21/06/2025: Siempre un gran lugar para parar para tomar una copa, comida y para sentarse y admirar las impresionantes vistas. Siempre me siento bienvenido aquí y he parado aquí muchas veces en las 5 veces que hemos estado en Ortisei.
02/03/2025: Ich bin während dem Skifahren hier spontan eingekehrt. Ehrlich gesagt nur aufgrund der Namensgleicheit. Ich dachte, mit dem namen, kanns ja nur gut sein. So war es auch. Ich wurde freundlich begrüßt und platziert. Der Service war schnell, und aufmerksam. Zwischendurch dauertes es mal etwas länger, aber die Terrasse war voll, von daher ok. Die Speisen waren gut und reichlich. Ich denke, da gibt es nichts zu meckern.
An die Meckererin den anderen Bewertungen bzgl. der hohen Preise. Leider ist es nicht nur hier sehr teuer geworden und sondern leider überall. Jagertee für 6 Euro, Cheeseburger für 24 habe ich woanders zahlen müssen. Das ist heute leider der Standard. Das liegt nicht an den Wirten, sondern an den exorbitanten Preissteigerungen bei Energie, Personal und Rohstoffe. Was im Supermarkt teurer wird, ist natürlich auch für den Wirt teurer.
OK, nach dem Schwenk wieder zurück: Die Daniel Hütte ist wärmstens zu empfehlen. Den fantastischen Blick auf Lang- und Plattkofel gibt es übrigens gratis dazu.

Baita in posizione top anche per passeggiate sia estive che invernali con Parcheggio antistante.
Menu caffetteria vario con prezzi normali.
Onestissimi i prezzj dei drink.
Nel giardino c’è anche un parco giochi mentre dentro, in un angolino, c’è un tappeto per far giocare i più piccini.
La struttura è vicina anche al parco avventura.

02/03/2025: Mi sono fermato dopo una bella camminata per mangiare una fetta di strudel in questa famosa località. Al momento di pagare la cameriera, una signora di una certa età, invece di ringraziare una volta pagato, si è girata e se n’è andata. Forse perché parlavo italiano? Complimenti per la cortesia
22/02/2025: Mi sarebbe piaciuto tanto recensire bene questo luogo perché visivamente è meraviglioso, sia come panorama che come struttura.
Peccato che in piena alta stagione sia chiuso ben due giorni a settimana (martedì e mercoledì), cosa che trovo assolutamente lecita per i lavoratori del rifugio, MA NON IN ALTA STAGIONE!!!
Dopo la camminata ci si aspetta di consumare un bel piatto e caldo e di scendere lungo la pista in slittino, mentre ciò che si trova è solo la delusione di trovare tutto chiuso.
Colpa mia che sicuramente dovevo guardare sul sito, ma non trovo accettabile che in alta stagione un rifugio così rinomato chiuda per due giorni alla settimana .
Oltretutto non lasciando neanche aperto il noleggio slittino e costringendo le persone a farsi 6 km di pista in discesa al ritorno dopo la salita presente per arrivare fin lì.

06/03/2025: Questo rifugio è un posto magico con una vista spettacolare un'accoglienza fantastica e un servizio senza uguali.
Lo staff ( Marco N1) sono veramente delle persone che portano la felicità.
Il cibo è abbondante, ottimo il kaisermann e fantastici i spaghetti alla carbonara.... È la terza volta che ci vado e ogni volta è sempre un piacere....

30/08/2024: Bellissimo posto ai piedi delle Odle, uno spettacolo della natura. Piatti enormi e molto gustosi. Un assaggio di speck di loro produzione con cetrioli e cren, ottimo. Un tris di canederli enormi e buonissimi: barbabietole, formaggio e spinaci, presentati con dei fiori sul piatto. Tre uova con patate arrosto e speck: piatto semplice ma molto gustoso. Per finire un bel Kaiserschmarren con marmellata di mirtilli rossi. La fame è passata.... Il personale molto gentile e sorridente. Ci sono cavalli, caprette, conigli e una mini palestra di roccia per i più piccini. Una bellissima giornata. Consigliato.
