08/11/2025: We were craving a really good piece of meat and decided on the Winklerhof in Partschins. The farm was first mentioned in the 13th century. We were recommended a 1.1 kg T-bone steak, thankfully served with fried potatoes and vegetables instead of fries. And... we can only say, wow! For dessert, we had cinnamon mousse with plums. Absolutely recommended.

04/08/2026: The pizzas were delicious. Service was very quick and the waitress was very friendly. The only downside was the rather basic, sports club-like atmosphere.

20/05/2026: The hotel and restaurant are a dream, leaving nothing to be desired! From early morning swims in the indoor and outdoor pools to the fabulous breakfast buffet with a wide selection of fruit and everything your heart could desire, the superb location for hikes in all directions, the stunning sauna area, and the fantastic evening menus. The lovingly renovated, historic building complex is reminiscent of a castle, but so comfortably furnished that even the small former dungeon has been transformed into an inviting corner! The staff was very friendly and attentive, and everything was simply perfect. We would love to come back again! Thank you so much for the wonderful break!

14/05/2026: Due to a mistake on our part, a double booking occurred. We weren't aware of it. We found out at check-in and were told it would be rectified and that we didn't need to worry. Our stay at the hotel did not include dinner. We ate at the hotel on two evenings and paid for these meals upon check-out. A few days later, back home, we were in for a nasty surprise: a credit card charge for the double booking from Booking.com. This unused booking would have included dinner for both of us on three evenings. I initially tried to cancel the double booking, but unfortunately, it was no longer possible and is entirely my own fault. However, it's unacceptable that the hotel isn't refunding the dinners we paid for on-site. I'm talking about approximately €450. These dinners were included in the other package, which cost me a total of €1,339.80 and is simply a loss. Unfortunately, the hotel was not accommodating, and my last attempts to contact them went unanswered. Very disappointing!

08/08/2026: The star rating is for the pizza, which was quite tasty and reasonably priced. However, my experience with a server was appalling. I ordered a takeaway pizza and waited. After two minutes, I remembered I'd like it sliced. When I asked the server, she gave me an annoyed look, rolled her eyes, and went into the kitchen without a word. Shocked by this reaction, I asked if there was a problem—again, there was no verbal response, just an annoyed stare. If I hadn't already paid for the pizza, I would have left immediately. I've never experienced anything like it. PS: I waited 14 minutes for my pizza, so I don't believe it was prepared to the point where this "extra request" was impossible to fulfill in the two minutes I waited before asking.

08/08/2026: We stopped here on the way to the Stifjerjoch pass. The pizza was delicious and very reasonably priced. Simply excellent.
