The food is excellent (especially the pumpkin cream soup, Wiener Schnitzel, tagliata, and tiramisu). The owner and staff are very friendly and welcoming. We always enjoy coming back!

01/02/2026: Terrible experience. The receptionist was decidedly unfriendly and incapable of admitting a mistake regarding the reservation we had made well in advance. She even insinuated that we had somehow made a mistake, even after having shown her, at her request, the phone's call log. Furthermore, after waiting 15 minutes outside in the cold with a disabled woman due to the lack of a ramp at the entrance (one was only located at the back), and the door opening being one-way. WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING.

01/02/2026: Terrible experience. I booked two weeks in advance, and once I arrived at the exact time, the "lady" told me I hadn't called and asked me to show her the phone call. Once she showed it, she said, "I'm sure I didn't," and she wanted to be right. I told her that if she said no, I'd book somewhere else and nothing. Terrible experience. I'll never go there again. P.S. Thank goodness there are waiters who save the owner's bad attitude. The waiters are truly TOP. I'm sorry the waiter came to the table and asked me to remove the review when we live in a democratic country. If the owner had shown her face, I would have considered it. You have to know how to accept criticism that helps you improve, not just compliments.

09/03/2026: Went there for dinner and it was absolutely incredible. The service was amazing, the food was delicious and so fresh! Even if you’re not staying at the hotel check out the restaurant, worth it!

04/01/2026: A truly special place. Much of it is built into the rock. Very impressive. The view is magnificent. Parking is a bit limited. This visit will be unforgettable! The homemade raspberry jam is sensational.

06/03/2026: The bread with vegetables, which I'll just call a veggie burger for now, is filled with a ton of mixed grilled vegetables and cheese. They ask if you want onions, which is great because sometimes you have to get right back to work and your clients. Today I went with onions 👍😃. It's really filling ☺️! 20/02/2026: It feels like...home! Like feeling at home, even when you're far from home. I discovered this hotel and restaurant last year and didn't think I'd find so many similarities in one place. The location 🔝, the rooms (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐), but above all the people 👥... like Paolo: a true host, omnipresent, who calls you by name and never lets you go without anything. The restaurant's success and the quality of its service are its trademark. The Chef: who always knows what to do to make dinner or breakfast a unique experience. And then Luca: the host, full of jokes and advice, and who knows how to accommodate any request. In short: if you want to feel like a guest, there are other hotels in the area. If you want to feel at home, there's only one place: Il Cervo a Magré. 5 stars +!!

03/01/2026: We dined there on the evening of December 31, 2025, and it was a wonderful discovery: a menu bursting with delicate and refined flavors, a superb selection of local wines, all served by a warm and enthusiastic team! A magnificent memory for us Normans passing through...

13/12/2025: By pure chance, I ended up here for dinner, located very close to the Gardens of Trautmansdorff Castle, just one bus stop away. From the moment I walked in until the very friendly goodbye, it was a wonderful treat for all the senses! The pizzas, which I tried twice, are outstanding, incredibly delicious, very large, and you can even get them with whole wheat dough – absolutely delicious! 😋👍👍👍👍👍 On top of that, the service was very friendly, courteous, and attentive; you feel incredibly welcome as a guest! Thank you so much for two wonderful dinners in a lovely, pleasant atmosphere! See you next year!

21/12/2025: We were here on a warm October weekend. The view, the location itself, and the food were excellent.

18/11/2025: I've been here twice: once for Törggelen, and once on a Sunday for lunch. The first time, there was a huge mix-up with the orders. Perhaps the guy taking them didn't understand, but in the end, after a round of incorrect dishes, we ate what we'd ordered. Unfortunately, due to this mix-up, one person ate a very small portion of mezzelune (about 5) because they'd brought us the menu portion, even though she'd only ordered that, and therefore the regular portion. The second time for lunch, everything went very well; there was even less confusion in the place, which I think had an impact on the first time. However, when paying, they'd added items we hadn't ordered, but the lady was kind enough to let us check before we paid. The location deserves five stars, as does the food. Perhaps the service could be improved slightly when the restaurant is busy, and the prices are a bit above average, but not by much. Anyway, I'd go back ;)

02/11/2025: Really tasty food and the staff is friendly. I have cealic disease so getting something gluten free is sometimes complicated. The staff is well informed and i got grilled cheese and veggies, really, really good. All of my friends were satisfied with their choises. So if you make the trip around the mountain i do recommend to stop by and enjoy some good food.
