03/03/2026: Wonderful place! It's a truly magnificent mountain hut, completely immersed in nature and immaculately maintained, far from the hustle and bustle of the ski lifts. The effort to get there is more than worth it; it's surrounded by lakes and numerous animals raised by the owners. The place is very picturesque, and the owners were friendly and helpful. The menu isn't extensive, but every dish was truly delicious. I highly recommend it for those who love hiking and good food!

21/02/2026: A dream of juicy, crispy sourdough pizza… from their own fields, organically grown grains like rye, spelt, and wheat, whose flours are used to make pizza and pasta doughs and pastries. And to top it all off, the best local beer from Nopphof. Fantastic, and always a pleasure!

15/02/2026: We had dinner for Valentine's Day. Location overlooking Merano from above (we'll be back to admire it during the day). Excellent welcome and elegant location. Dishes cooked to perfection. Two fillets worthy of applause. The desserts were also excellent.

03/01/2026: Kudos to the kitchen! The vegan pumpkin cream soup was the best we've ever had. The vegan vegetable curry was also excellent, especially the bottom layer. We're not entirely sure what it is, but it tastes delicious. Since the dishes are primarily vegetable-based, they don't keep you full for very long. Offering vegan dishes is certainly a bit more challenging in South Tyrol, but at this level, there's definitely a way to create a more substantial vegan meal. If you appreciate very good vegan food and have the necessary funds, this is the place for you.

07/02/2026: Lodging in a B&B you have to look for a place to eat at night every day. Selva is loaded with pizzeria-restaurants and I save my review for the most pleasant one we encountered. Especially atmosphere and staff made the day. We had good bruschetta, nice mezzalune and acceptable fettuccini. There is a surprisingly long wine list. Reservation necessary!

29/01/2026: Probably the best pizzeria in Wolkenstein. Great food, great service, etc. Since the drinks were served a little late, the owner offered us two excellent grappas. We'll be back.

07/03/2026: A family-run trattoria where the food is excellent (reservations are required, as there are only a few tables). Traditional cuisine, generous portions (even the wines by the glass). Superb dumplings, delicious venison fillet with Lagrein. The desserts are also exquisite, made by the owner. Thank you for two wonderful dinners and evenings spent in your restaurant, where we felt at home.

12/12/2025: A lovely restaurant with excellent Neapolitan-style pizzas. The side salad was unfortunately rather uninspired and lacked dressing. The dessert (crème brûlée), however, was very tasty. Overall, very high-quality ingredients were used. The decor is beautiful and cozy, but quite noisy. Nevertheless, it was still possible to have a conversation. All in all, we had a pleasant evening with a reasonable price-performance ratio and would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The path there leads through an impressive mountain landscape, making a stop at the hut a truly memorable experience. Once you arrive, you'll be rewarded with a magnificent view and a very relaxed atmosphere. The hut is simple, cozy, and exactly what you'd expect from a mountain hut. Here, the atmosphere is down-to-earth and welcoming. A visit is especially worthwhile: regional, simple, and very tasty dishes, combined with a peaceful setting away from the hustle and bustle. A perfect place to breathe deeply, recharge, and enjoy – ideal as a destination or break during a hike. Highly recommended.
