Excellent restaurant in the center of Dobbiaco. The interior is very welcoming, with an outdoor area. The gourmet menu reflects Tyrolean tradition. The wine list is well-stocked. Highly recommended!

I really liked this restaurant. Actually I ate here twice on my recent trip, it was so good! The servers were very friendly and very efficient. They have a nice patio for outdoor dining. Everything I ate was fantastic, but my favorites were the gnocchi with deer ragout and the fried apples for dessert.

We returned after many years, and based on our experience this evening, I can say it's no longer at the same level. Polenta with cheese and porcini mushrooms was delicious, but the skewer was dry and lacking in seasoning. When I asked for a change in the side dish for the shank (I asked for mashed potatoes), they served me mashed potatoes... it didn't take much telling the two waiters because the bill remained unchanged. Not that we wanted a discount, but at least a small gift before paying.

Vibes are immaculate. Food is scrumptious. Service is kind and compassionate. Perfect way to enjoy lunch or dinner in the mountains. Especially recommend Knödel with cabbage salad 🥗

15/07/2026: A charming restaurant with great outdoor lighting. The service was very friendly and quick, yet unobtrusive. The food is excellent!
15/07/2026: Hectic atmosphere in the garden When the restaurant opens at 5:00 PM and the entire staff is scrambling to decorate the tables, and guests without reservations are barely acknowledged because everything is supposedly already reserved, yet on the other hand, the first guests are already leaving empty tables after just an hour, and the garden had plenty of free tables during our three-hour visit, something is definitely wrong. Frankly, we felt uncomfortable in the hectic atmosphere and not valued as guests. It's a shame about the beautiful garden and the friendly lady who served us.
