28/08/2024: Excellent food. Quality local products. Young but professional and educated staff. A nice self-service for side dishes. The only flaw I would say is that if you arrive at 12 and 10 minutes there is no more sauerkraut. They leave immediately. And they arrive but you are already at the table.🙃 I recommend placing two vases.😂

28/08/2024: Honestly, I'm not one to write reviews, but this place deserved it for how well they treated us. After a disastrous day in which we were stranded with the camper, we found this restaurant that, despite having the kitchen closed, opened it only for us. Who knows what face they would see us with. The service was unbeatable, they also spoke English, German, Spanish and of course Italian. The food was truly spectacular, my praise to the chef. All that remains is to say thank you.

27/07/2024: Wir können die negativen Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Das Essen ist hervorragend, genau so haben wir es uns vorgestellt. Der Service ist bemüht, die Tische sind edel gedeckt, es war insgesamt wirklich richtig gut!

25/07/2024: If you want to try South Tyrol recipes this is the place you must visit. Very good red wine options. The location is great and the service is fast and welcoming. It is quite busy so make sure you arrive early or reserve a table beforehand.

02/08/2024: Very tasty pizzas and other dishes! Very friendly staff! The restaurant doesn't look that inviting from the outside... But just go in and enjoy the food!

03/08/2024: Ich hatte das Vergnügen, die Frommeralm in Welschnofen zu besuchen und kann sie nur wärmstens empfehlen! Die Lage ist einfach atemberaubend, eingebettet in eine traumhafte Berglandschaft, die jeden Naturfreund ins Schwärmen bringt. Das Essen war absolut hervorragend. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Vielfalt und Qualität der Speisen – einfach ein Gaumenschmaus! Besonders beeindruckt war ich davon, wie die Küche auf meine glutenfreien Sonderwünsche eingegangen ist. Alles wurde perfekt umgesetzt und ich konnte meine Mahlzeiten ohne Bedenken genießen. Das Personal war außerordentlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Jeder Wunsch wurde umgehend und mit einem Lächeln erfüllt. Ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch in der Frommeralm und kann diesen Ort jedem nur ans Herz legen!

09/07/2024: All'arrivo della funivia Laurin1, molti tavoli all'aperto. Propone molti piatti, non solo locali. Servizio rapido, ma una cameriera parla solo in tedesco (!).

15/08/2024: It was the only restaurant where we could make reservations. We travel extensively and it is our third time in buitifull San Cassiano. In the whole restaurant the was only few tables occupied. We had a biggest table of 5..Bad sign already. Every dish for each of us was either mediocre or bad. Undecioked, overcooked or just bland. Service was mediocre as well. To have such a bad meal with bad service in Dolomites is rare. It explains why in the busiest week on the summer it was the only place with availability.

25/07/2024: We dined on 4. 3 Ladin menus because we were told they were large portions. We are speechless, everything is top! Where have we been so far? Everything excellent. The fantastic first courses include tagliatelle with mushrooms, crescents with spinach, dumplings in broth and barley soup. Meat that melts in your mouth, spectacular polenta. And warm raspberries with ice cream? The very kind owner. Very sincere congratulations! The price is very honest based on quality and quantity. If you try once you understand. Very satisfied! thanks 😘

12/06/2024: Comfortable, clean hotel with a spectacular view! Hostess very available to meet different needs. Excellent cuisine and generous portions. We stayed in this hotel during the Sella Ronda and upon returning from our tour, we ate delicious speck sandwiches! I recommend it and will be back soon!!

15/06/2024: Posto da scoprire ma ne vale la pena! Atmosfera magica! Abbiamo pranzato in 4 (2 adulti e 2 bambini) con 70 euro da uscire pieni. Cibo tipico e non, buono e porzioni abbondanti. Tavoli con vista sul lago bellissima! Personale gentile. Bagni puliti. Ci tornerei!

22/08/2024: We were there for one night with the motorbike and were warmly welcomed by our son. There were cold drinks and even though it was a day off, the pizzeria was open in the house. Great view, wonderful peace and quiet... nice room with a balcony. We were allowed to ride a motorbike Park it for free in the large garage.The pizza made by "Papa" deserves the seal of quality: "Exellent"....I've rarely eaten such a great pizza, and at good prices. Breakfast was also good. Price-performance ratio was good. Thank you...it's in my note book. Thanks

10/08/2024: ⭐⭐ I stayed in this two-star hotel, and I must say that it fully reflects its category. The rooms were clean and tidy, nothing luxurious but perfectly adequate. The pizza was good, and the breakfast wasn't bad either. A plus point was the view from the room, truly wonderful, perfect for those looking for a bit of relaxation surrounded by nature. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet and unpretentious stay.

20/08/2024: Very characteristic hut in a beautiful environment and easy to reach. The walk from the Wielental car park, just before the junction for the earth pyramids, is slightly sloping for the first 5-10 minutes then it softens and is really pleasant. Excellent typical food, generous portions and very kind staff. Bring cash as the POS is not available (at least until August 2024).

14/08/2024: Beautiful mountain hut in a strategic position. Average food. Average account. Terrible service: very disorganised, they don't even have numbers at the tables so the two waitresses got the orders mixed up. It took us 40 minutes to get the right drink order. They cleared the table of the glasses of those who were there before us after 1 hour and 20 minutes. For the food it took more than an hour with the excuse of "we only have one chef" even if there wasn't a full house. The waitresses warn you that you will have to wait but not how long and above all they cannot give you updates on the wait after you have ordered. It's really a shame, a disservice like this has never happened to me in any mountain hut in South Tyrol.

08/08/2024: Unfortunately the food was a disaster. We had pasta with mushrooms and the sauce was more like brown slime. The side salad had absolutely no dressing or seasoning. It's a shame because the restaurant actually makes a very nice impression

05/08/2024: One of the nicest traditional style restaurants in the area. Intimate and warm environment. The kaiserschmarren is excellent.

02/08/2024: We were thrilled. After so many years in Nova Levante we finally found our way here today. And I can say all the reviewers don't lie. A great, crispy and well-seasoned brown trout, delicious fried potatoes and a green salad a la farm to dress yourself. A dream! Very friendly boss, warm and familiar. Only open at lunchtime from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and only places outside, covered and in the garden. It's now on our list for great restaurants in Eggental and we're already looking forward to next year. Update 2023: we were there again (of course), and what can I say, a dream!!! And even though it was already 2:30 p.m., the boss fired up the stove again and conjured up 2 wonderful trout! Also the fried potatoes with fried eggs and bacon... wonderful. Update 2024 As always, everything is wonderful!!

21/07/2024: For many, the place will also be suggestive (the road passes just above our heads...) but the price paid for the dishes offered is scandalous…..and they don't even have the menu but the ONLY THREE DISHES they offer are said verbally, and already here we should comment..... Perhaps for a tourist the charm of the mountains can lead one astray but for a resident of Alto Adige, a plate of eggs with speck and potatoes 19 euros is shameful, not even in the most remote refuge in the mountains they would charge, the trout 26 euros let's not talk about it, a Milanese steak 23.50 euros not even of excellent quality... charged like a loin... Absolutely over the top, we certainly won't be back....

13/08/2024: Siamo stati anni fa in quello che era un grazioso ristorante tipico, gestito da una signora molto gentile e affabile. Ritornati adesso , a distanza di qualche anno, di quei bei ricordi non è rimasto niente. Non basta ristrutturare un locale, peraltro con determinati canoni in cui si assomigliano tutti, per offrire una buona ristorazione. Cibo veramente scadente, per lo più insipido nella sua essenza, esperienza da evitare. Gran peccato, rinnovare la veste non basta.

13/08/2024: Delusione totale.. è un locale rinnovato cresciuti in prosopopea e inadeguatezza e diminuito in qualità..Locale ristrutturato nn è più il tipico locale montano ma un moderno locale in legno un po' in serie anche se carino ..però nn ci siamo

19/07/2024: Abbiamo mangiato bene. Però non abbiamo provato piatti di carne. Comunque gli antipasti e i primi sono stati veramente molto buoni: focaccia ripiena, risotto con mele e canederli al fegato su un letto di crauti. Eccellente il dolce: frittelle di mele con crema, mirtilli e gelato alla cannella. Un calice di vino lagrain e acqua e caffè. Il tutto per una 70na di Euro. Servizio simpatico e veloce anche se talvolta un po' invadente.
