12/10/2025: A welcoming place with indoor and outdoor spaces, friendly staff, free and convenient parking, and, most importantly, amazing roast beef. Highly recommended.

06/10/2025: We stayed at the Riega for a short break. Our room was excellent: modern, comfortable, and very clean. We had a good breakfast at the Riega and ate dinner at the Riega restaurant, and we were very satisfied. The staff and hotel staff were very friendly. The location is perfect for hiking. We would 100% recommend it.

30/09/2025: A quaint, traditional inn, the interior feels as if it's been stuck in the 70s, but nothing could be changed... Nice menu at reasonable prices, and the food was delicious.

12/09/2025: The food was great 👍🏻 The price-performance ratio (taste and quantity) was completely acceptable. The Hefeweizen would taste just as good for €5 ;-)

23/09/2025: Once a magical place with prompt service and an excellent selection of pastries, today the service is mediocre and the selection is limited and not as excellent as it once was. I've been going to this pastry shop for 35 years, and I speak with full knowledge of the facts.

11/09/2025: Summer vacation at this hotel. It's a well-maintained, classic structure, clean, and tidy. The restaurant is good, and the restaurant manager is excellent. Perhaps the restaurant staff are a bit too chaotic. We had a great time, except for the room service and reception, which could be improved. Some noise from the busy road.

15/10/2025: A sure thing, one that I'll return to time and time again. Everything was absolutely excellent!!!

14/10/2025: A wonderful discovery in San Candido! Excellent, high-quality cuisine, generous portions, seasonal and local dishes, and excellent wines. I had a delicious Kaiserschmarr, a dish I wasn't familiar with and which was recommended to me by the very kind and friendly waitress. The restaurant is beautiful, well-kept and features typical Tyrolean wood furnishings. Definitely recommended if you're visiting San Candido; it's centrally located and truly worth a visit. The price is moderate, appropriate for what you get.

26/07/2025: Questo grande ristorante nel centro di Merano - 'gemello' di quello di Bolzano - è sempre frequentatissimo e pieno nonostante sia davvero enorme (buon segno!). Qui si possono fare semplici spuntini freddi (classici taglieri) o pranzi e cene più 'strutturati'. Nel menù non troverete distinzioni fra primi e secondi piatti, più che altro perché tutti valgono in genere come piatti unici. I canederli, per esempio sono tre e davvero molot, molto grandi. Fra gli altri piatti ci sono stinco, rosticciata, il piatto forst (con costine, salsiccia, stinco, patate e canederli).

26/07/2025: Bel posticino in stile Hofbrauhaus dove è possibile gustare dei buoni piatti rispettando la tradizione, e bere una buona birra.

25/10/2025: The Unterfinser Hof is beautifully situated and is a classic Buschenschank (wine tavern) with plenty of charm. The ambiance is rustic and cozy, and the wooden parlor immediately conveys a homey feeling—exactly what you'd expect from a traditional South Tyrolean farm. The outdoor area, with its view of the surrounding landscape, is also truly inviting. The food was solid, but not outstanding. The dishes are down-to-earth and fresh, but I felt they lacked a bit of refinement and spice. The Brettljause (snack) in particular, while plentiful, was rather average in terms of taste. The wine was good, but the overall value for money was a bit limited. The service was friendly, but a bit inattentive at times—perhaps due to the full house. A few minor things, such as empty glasses that weren't cleared away for a while or a rather long wait for dessert, somewhat marred the overall impression. In conclusion: A pleasant Buschenschank with an authentic atmosphere, ideal for a cozy evening in a rustic setting. But it's not quite enough to be a real insider tip (yet). I would come back, but with rather subdued expectations.

07/10/2025: A rustic guest room on a lovingly preserved family farm, where history and hospitality are palpable. The terrace offers magnificent views of the surrounding mountains. The hosts are warm and authentic, and the South Tyrolean specialties are freshly prepared and of the highest quality. A place where you feel welcome and completely at home from the very first moment – ​​a true piece of South Tyrolean lifestyle.

15/08/2025: Unfortunately, the location is worth it, but the food isn't up to par. It was our first time here, and sadly, I don't think we'll be back. They brought us the menu, but in reality, there were only four dishes available, which were communicated verbally and were slightly different from those listed. We ordered a lasagna, which arrived piping hot because it had clearly been reheated in the microwave. A little attention would have been needed, perhaps even changing the dish. It's obviously not a big deal, but I just wanted to point it out to demonstrate the care this place takes. The other two dishes, dumplings with salad, were equally mediocre, with nothing special, especially the salad. Another negative is the wait: 50 minutes for dishes that don't require any special preparation. Finally, the outside tables were full of ants, which was quite annoying. In short, the location is really beautiful and deserves much better quality service and cuisine.

27/08/2025: A cheeky, rude waitress tells us that it's not possible to have a glass of wine at one of the high tables in the evening (there are only five tables outside). Apparently, they don't need to make money. We won't be going here again.

12/08/2025: Every time I pass through Sestri Ponente, it's a ritual to stop at Caffetteria Merano, where respect, hospitality, courtesy, and professionalism are complemented by the friendly owners. I recommend it not only to friends but also to anyone passing through these parts for work or pleasure. By Fabio Abate from Zena

28/09/2025: The pizza is highly recommended. The atmosphere is lovely and very well-maintained. Unfortunately, we felt rather intrusive as guests. The service, I think it was the owners, was unfortunately very dismissive and made you feel unwelcome. We certainly won't be coming back.

05/09/2025: We were there today for lunch, chose food from the menu (chicken nuggets and a doner kebab box) and ordered two Cokes. The Coke came to the table in bottles, but the food took a while to arrive. The waiter then came to the table and apologized, saying it would take a few minutes as the fryer wasn't working properly. No problem, we would wait. An hour later we asked when our food would arrive and were dismissed with the words: OK, I can try again. We then finished our drinks and went to pay. Then the next bombshell came: we had specifically looked at the menu again and it said 2.50 euros. When we were leaving, they wanted 6 euros, whereupon I asked because the menu did say 2.50 euros. The answer was: they had bottles and not cans.... However, when we ordered, nobody asked if it was a bottle or can. I've been going to Bruneck for over 30 years, but something like this has never happened to me. Unfortunately, I have to give it one star; I would have preferred not to give it one at all.

02/03/2025: Also ich kann nur sagen das es eine richtig gute Pizzeria ist. Wir waren schon sehr oft da und wurden jedesmal sehr freundlich empfangen und auch bedient. Auch von der sogenannten Chefin immer ein liebes Wort, schön das ihr wieder da seid wie geht's euch und auch war alles in Ordnung. Vllt gab's mal einen Tag wo man einen nicht so guten Tag hat. Es ist ja auch immer voll. Ich mag sie sehr und freue mich schon wieder aufs nächste mal in 2 Wochen. Liebe Grüße Enrico Porstmann

22/02/2025: Visitamos Pizzeria Ciamin como un gran grupo de 10 y nos acomodaron cómodamente en dos mesas. El servicio fue amable y eficiente. El menú es enorme, pero la mayoría de nosotros elegimos pizzas de leña, que eran de tamaño generoso y absolutamente delicioso, con una base perfectamente crujiente y coberturas frescas. Tuve la pizza de atún y cebolla, que era fantástico, y todos en nuestro grupo disfrutaron mucho de su comida. Un gran lugar para un post relajado y satisfactorio - cena de esquí
