26/07/2025: Sono capitata in questo ristorante per puro caso a pranzo e sono rimasta entusiasta!! Non avevamo prenotato e in 5 minuti, nonostante la confusione di persone che aspettava, ci hanno fatto accomodare. Il personale è molto cordiale e professionale. È tutto veramente molto buono, anzi ottimo!! Non perdetevi lo stinco, gli spatzle e uova/patate/speck: favolosi!! I piatti sono molto generosi!! Consigliatissimo!!

With her warm personality and her great tips on how to enjoy pizza in a new way, she creates a unique experience. She also gave helpful tips to other guests who were visiting Merano for the first time. The entire team is attentive, friendly, and palpably passionate about their work. And the pizza? Simply perfect – crispy, fresh, thin, and full of flavor. A place where you don't just eat, but feel completely at home. Highly recommended! 🍕✨

13/10/2025: The room was large and clean, as was the bathroom. The breakfast offered a good selection and was delicious. The hotel is located somewhat remote from the city center, but directly across from a train station, from which you can quickly get into town or continue your journey through South Tyrol if you don't want to walk.

29/07/2025: Abbiamo preso l’ovovia da San Cassiano, ci siamo diretti verso il rifugio con mia moglie e nostro figlio di 3 anni , siamo riusciti ad arrivare con il passeggino (40 min circa) , un po’ di fatica ma una volta arrivati abbiamo preso due primi , veramente molto buoni, tagliatelle al pino mugo e canederli al burro!! Poi il dolce, Prezzo nella media , lo consiglio !! Anche perché è ad una distanza accettabile , vista molto bella.

12/06/2025: Come sempre quando siamo in alta badia un pranzo al Bioch non può mancare. Bella giornata di sole, a tavola ancora meglio. Penne alla Bioch e tagliata, un calice di vino, acqua e caffè. Prezzi da rifugio Alta Badia, comunque imperdibile

08/07/2025: We stayed here for one night during our mountain bike alpine crossing. Modern rooms, very friendly staff/owner. We booked half board and would recommend it: 4 courses with a salad buffet, soup, half board (schnitzel and omelet were delicious!), and dessert. We paid €50 for two people, including water and a half liter of house wine. Great value for money, and it tasted good, and we were satisfied. Truly top-notch – thanks to the team and the Sonne family!!! Centrally located in St. Lorenzen, bikes can be safely stored in the ski room. We would stay here again 👍👍👍

30/09/2025: Picturesque mountain setting in the Dolomites. Very welcoming proprietor and staff who speak Italian, German, and English. Clean rooms, decent breakfast buffet. Other meals available in the café.

11/09/2025: We stayed at this hotel for a few days last week. The owners' courtesy, kindness, and friendliness made our mini-vacation relaxing and carefree. THANK YOU!!!! The food was very good...super breakfast and delicious dinner, what can I say...highly recommended. A special mention to the people who work at this hotel...kind and thoughtful.

23/10/2025: A very family-run restaurant 🤗. We immediately felt at home, and that continued throughout the evening. Very good food: pizza 🍕, shepherd's macaroni... the house wine is also highly recommended. We went back the very next day... what can I say... Delicious food and drinks. So simple, so good...

13/10/2025: It's not the place for a fancy dinner or a quick date, but it does its job perfectly. The pizza is good, fairly cheap, and the service is quick and unfussy. One of the few places where desserts aren't as expensive as a first course: €5 for a tiramisu. If I ever return to the Bolzano area, I know where I'll stop for a hearty lunch or dinner.

19/09/2025: Ci vado frequentemente e mi trovo bene, salvo inquinatori dell'aria, maleducati che fumano mentre la gente mangia. Purtroppo non esiste, come in Austria, il divieto di fumare, anche all'aperto, dove si mangia.

11/10/2025: Despite the excellent service and generous portions, the food was just not up to par! Terrible penne alla pastora (tomato sauce with a little cream mixed in), Tagliatelle with venison, overcooked and salty, Dry shank!! It's a shame because the service is friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant! Fair prices...

22/08/2025: We ordered takeout pizzas… we're campers, and within 10 minutes they made us 4 pizzas! They even kindly cut them into slices… Delicious pizzas… we'll be back when we're passing through Bolzano… We highly recommend it!!!! Oh… The prices are TOP!

16/08/2025: Pizzeria Vesuvio in Bolzano is very welcoming and family-friendly. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff friendly. The pizzas are truly delicious and made with fresh ingredients.

12/07/2025: I'm giving it 5* because I can't rate the tavern, and the owner probably can't help it. Once we got there, we realized we had to pay to enter the castle. We just wanted a quick bite to eat... what a shame.
